There is quite a bit of tables and booths available to sit and enjoy your breakfast, and it's a seat yourself and order/pay at the front style store. I tried the maple bacon donut, which was good, wonderful flavor, more genuine homemade flavor/texture than Krispy Kreme, yet not overly fluffy and artificial like grocery store donuts. The coffee was very reasonably priced, but tasted marginally better than licking the floor. If I lived close by, I would return for the donuts. The cashiers were welcoming and friendly as well. Horrible and disrespectful staff. Purchased the last two kolaches at the store and as i am paying for it, the drive thru staff comes and grabs one of kolaches i already paid for and my cashier stares at his colleague without explaining that I already purchased them. He ends up just saying he is sorry and that's it. What is this? How can 2 colleagues not communicate? Don't order here off of DoorDash. They forgot the main part of my order, so I only got donut holes and a single donut. DoorDash gave me a refund, but now I have to go up there to reorder it. Pointless for me to spend extra on DoorDash just to have to drive up there myself anyways. Also, if you want hot/warm donuts, I suggest KRISPY KREME. Shipley never has warm donuts. read more

Ahhh...stopping at Shipley's for a dozen hot donuts on our way upstate is a cherished activity for my family. The warm, soft glazed rings are sure to be the staple food in heaven...and the chocolate covered glazed, the long johns, the fruit filled....pair it all with a cold bottle of milk and you just won the lottery, pal. You'll get 6 glazed and 6 of the least popular flavors they want to get rid of, which is disappointing. They've done this to me multiple times now, so I have to be specific when ordering. When I think of Shipley, I think true southern hospitality! I make it a priority to stop in for donuts and coffee while visiting family. I brought my German boyfriend and our son here for the very first time (all they know is the other commercial donut place that starts with a K) and I think the little one is just as obsessed over the donut holes and I am. Since the place is pretty small, the drive through line can be a bit of a wait if you're coming during the morning rush hour, but it's worth the wait. They were not willing to sell us anything when we asked. We tried to call to get them ready in advance to tell them we were going to order a big order and they did not answer. They said there was not enough donuts even when we were looking at the wall of donuts behind her. They denied us service and I think that we won't be buying donuts here anymore. read more

By far the best Do-nut I have ever had! My wife and went there Sunday morning and got mixed dozen and a FRESH dozen of glazed. Their Do-nuts are amazing, but when you get some fresh from the fryer......OMG!!! We are new to the area and we're hoping there would be a substitute to our old bakery.
