I went today and asked the young man behind the counter for some doughnuts. He opened a box preparing to start and then this young woman came from behind the donut stand and nearly pushed him out of the way. She completely took over putting my donuts in the box. He was standing there with a box ready to go and she just swooped in. She was rude. I felt uncomfortable the way she was treating him and I also felt rushed. The donuts were day old at best. We went to pick out a few doughnuts for a neighbor and ordered a dozen because many were fresh out of the oven at 10:30. They told me were fresh out if the oven, so count on over $16-$17 for one dozen when tax and tip are added with $13 dozen!! I tasted a couple and they did not taste fresh out the oven to me! How can we test without purchasing? Every time when I asked before, I was told which ones were fresh or that none are fresh! I count in the truth. Attractive and clean with drive through- but I do not buy unless some batch is fresh out of oven. Service is great- doughnuts were previously fresh and puffy and fabulous!! Not today. Today marks at least a half a dozen times I order and apple fritter and they are out-@10am! This is now two days in a row and it's aggravating that I never know if they will have one. Closes at 2pm so you would think another batch would be made but I guess food cost affects one of the most popular-It's $2.50 for one donut so it a very profitable one. An average donut that is never hot/warm; so lose a star. They lose another star for only selling donut holes by the dozen and not selling flavored/sprinkle donuts holes. There is plenty of room inside for seating and the service is as expected. I would suggest only stopping here if you want convenience. read more

I absolutely love this Shipley's location! I have been a regular for over a year now and my experience is always amazing. It's everything you could want out of a morning treat and so much more. Every time I go the food is delicious and it takes no time at all, but my absolute favorite part is the team who works there. They remember my order and always take interest in my life. They are the reason why I'm a regular, every time I walk into the store I feel so welcomed and it's such a great way to start my day. Donuts are okay, drive thru convenient but only if you know what to buy. Service was by a teenage robot. Some of the donuts are cake-like and some are fried? I'm not sure, the service was terrible with little information and I had to ask a million questions since the donuts had different prices. read more

You either want CHOCOLATE GLAZE or PLAIN GLAZE. Chocolate glaze is chocolate dough that's glazed. Your other options would be: Iced: white (SP), red(SP), pink(SP), maple, and chocolate(SP)ICED. (SP = sprinkles) Cake "old fashion donuts"- same as above. Filled: Normal- lemon, cherry, Bavarian, raspberry, blueberry, apple, strawberry, chocolate, and cream. Chocolate- chocolate and cream. I love Shipley's, but this location is not my favorite. I stopped by mid-day and got some donuts that were obviously made that morning. The only problem is, I like my donuts really, really fresh. For that reason, I'm a fan of the Shipley's on Rankin. They make their glazed donuts throughout the day. I've gotten hot donuts there mid-day, at night, and the morning. read more

They do not use gloves to make any of the donuts or kolaches. So disgusting. And they rarely change the valves for the soda dispenser. Ugh.

I really like their donuts. It's never too busy which is good and they close fairly late for a donut shop in this area. Their coffee is not bad, but it is definitely not the best. The donuts are the best in the area. They definitely compete with the best donuts in other states. read more

The best donuts come from Shipley's. Been a customer of the Shipley donut shops since 2000 & we've found none better. The staff is friendly at the Alden Bridge location. They will even go out of their way to make a special fresh batch of donuts for you if they are out of a type that you want. I don't understand how anyone can give Shipley's less than 5 . read more

The doughnuts I have to say are pretty good in this part of town but one of the only problems is that the service isn't that great. Sometimes when I go there the coworkers have difficulty understand me because of the lack of experience. I have great expectations for this store and I hope the customer service gets a little better. I like Shpley's Donuts but not this one. I go, because it's close to my house. What can I say. Their donuts taste good. I usually buy glazed ones and donut holes. The donuts with filling are not so good. Sometimes they are good. Some times they aren't. They have some QC problem there. They pre-bag donut holes in bags of 12. So they are queezed in the bag for who knows how long. All sticky and ugly. DO NOT buy their Kolache. Bad. Sausage Kolache is a stick of sausage in a plain bun. Really? I'm usually a fan of Shipley Donuts, however, this location comes up a bit short when it comes to the Bavarian Filled variety. Whereas most Shipley locations will have a healthy dose if that sweet Bavarian filling, the two donuts I had at this location were severely lacking. Closest thing to California "pink box" donuts I've been able to find with familiar, delicious flavors that are consistently fresh and in stock. Favorites are the donut holes, maple iced, strawberry iced and the chocolate glazed. Location is easy to get to and staff is friendly.
