This place is a hidden gem if I've ever seen one. With a wide variety of sweet and savory options , excellent quality that you can taste in every bite and the most hospitable and authentically kind staff , you can't ask for anything better. The service and care are unmatched and so are their prices , for 17.00$ I got breakfast , lunch and dessert for myself AND my friend. Deals like that are few and far between. Since trying their coffee and their mini kolachees , I haven't set foot in any other donut shop and you won't want to either! I think we were too early..there was not much selection but we tried the Kolaches and some cake donuts. Everything was delicious. The lady behind the counter was quick and nice. Place was like any other donut shop nothing out of the ordinary. We did end up at Shipley which was around the corner afterwards to get some regular chocolate donuts and totally regretted giving them another try. Next time we'll be patient and come a little later when the sun is out to get BETTER QUALITY!! read more

Donut holes are my fav! I'm on a life mission to find the perfect ones! This place is great! 1st time I visited, a young lady helped me and they had, chocolate, strawberry, and regular. Ohh! Me so happy! Got a mixed dozen and they were great! Been back twice now and only glazed ones have been available. But, they're good! Fresh, fluffy morsels that melt in your mouth and I like the size, just a little less than 2 bites....so a nice big mouthful if you pop the whole thing in. I was craving for some boudin kolaches the other day so I came to this place because their boudin kolaches are delicious! I was however disappointed because they ran out of it and I am not able to wait 30 minutes for a new batch because I had to go somewhere. However, I ended up buying their sausage and cheese jalapeño kolache and the bacon, egg, cheese kolache. I liked the sausage and cheese jalapeño kolache but I was VERY VERY disappointed with the bacon, egg, cheese kolache that I was not even able to eat most of it because the bacon tasted weird for some odd reason. I do not recommend anybody getting the bacon, egg, cheese kolache. I am taking off a star from my review because of that. Their donuts are good and I like how they have variety options of kolache like the mini kolaches. They also have breakfast tacos but I have not gotten the chance to try those so maybe next time. Overall, I do recommend checking this place out but definitely buy the boudin kolaches if you decide to stop by this place. Parking is not hard and this place is next to a gas station. read more

I accidentally came across this donut shop, and man am I glad I did!! The glazed donuts were hot and had a perfect layer of glaze! Like krispie kreme but even better!! The taste & flavors of their selections are Amazing!! My favorite donut is the Blueberry Cake Glazed, and Theirs is literally the Best I have Had! They are fluffy and light, like cake should be yet they don't crumble.. Shipley's has been my place to go, but I have officially switched.. Shipley's blueberry cake glazed is heavier and more dense.. The girl that works here has given me something for free each time I've come here. The first time she gave me a free bear claw, and the second time she gave me a free cinnamon roll. I like the large sausage cheese kolaches, and the donut holes. The mini kolaches are ok, but they're just pigs in a blanket but not as good. There is also a wide variety of drinks in a cooler and hot coffee to go with your breakfast. Drove 20 min just to try these allegedly amazing donuts. Shipley's is is my go to of course but sometimes the consistency isn't there if you know what I mean so I decided to venture out and try something new. Tried the blueberry cake donut and it is indeed (as the previous yelp review claimed) not as dense and sweet as Shipley's and it had a better blueberry flavor. I also tried the maple twist and had it not been an hour before close I think I might have enjoyed it more as it seemed like it was beginning to get stale. But I can see that as a good thing because that means they made it super fresh that morning. The coffee is always fresh because it it brewed per cup so that is an awesome bonus. And the woman working there was super friendly. She threw in a few donut holes which is a nice. Who doesn't like service with a smile? I will def give it a go earlier in the day next time but I do recommend this place if you're looking for a donut shop to try other than Shipley's. read more

NOM NOM NOM!! Donuts! This place has been here forever I swear but I never stopped in... maybe as a kid but I don't remember. I got turned on to it by Mr. Scotland, as l like to call him. We get our caffeine fix at Starbucks and one day we talked about donuts and someone mentioned Shipley, then Mr. Scotland said the best donuts were at Snowflake.. yeah, that place tucked away by the corner store. So I call up my dad and ask if he wanted some donuts. He wanted the chocolate cake with frosting. It was a done deal, now I had to stop by and check it out. My eyes scan the donuts, and kolache counter and I find what I am looking for. Two for him, two for me. It's just two donuts, I could stop anytime, right? Plus the other guys seemed ok. They were delicious. A hint of crisp then that smooth, soft, chocolate interior. Perfection in a circular cake. The next day I skipped but went back the day after that. My eyes scanned the counter and found them immediately. Two more please I kept repeating in my head. Just as good as the first time or maybe better if possible. Soon I found myself waiting in line the next day, I ordered, I saw the white paper bag on the counter and it took everything I had to not rip that bag apart and eat like a Dingo in a maternity ward. So first time there. Read the reviews...we ordered a mix dozen, dough, cake and filled. The service was great, friendly. The server went to the back to do whatever and added some donut holes!!! When we got home my four glazed dough were four cake plain. Clearly what I didn't ordered. So I called and he explained that he charged us less, which he didn't. He charged us $7 for that dozen. He said to come back and he'll fixit. When I went back shortly after that call he said it was wrong and that I choose the wrong donuts. I pointed out that the first four were the glazed which were on the bottom and the plain cake were clearly on the top. He waves me off and says fine here are your four glazed. Bad first impression. Snowflake donuts are amazing. The donuts are high quality and are not greasy or oily like others in the area. They have a "cleaner" look to them and the taste is significantly better. I drove past a Shipley's on the way here and should have gone there. There is nothing special about these donuts. I arrived around 9am and things tasted old and stale. A few flavors were in low supply and there weren't any more in the back, so that was disappointing. I wanted to try a new place and I did, but I wont be coming back. read more

The cake donuts I was given were very stale and dry, we called and he switched them back and blamed me for picking the cake ones, but this was impossible as they were in a different case. read more
