Easy check in and check out. Good communication and response. Apartment is well furnished and supplied. Furnishings are not high end, but very nice all the same. Highly recommended.

The restaurants that were unique to this ship compared to the last one I was on were the " Chi-Bang", Cucina del Capitano, Teppanyaki and the steakhouse. I also really enjoyed the pizza from the " pizzeria del capitano" as it was very thin and had fresh ingredients! We did eat at the " cucina del capitano" one night for free, but it wasn't anything special, so I wouldn't go again for $8 per person. The rest of the cruise food was the average meals that you get on all ships--- a bit on the heavier side and tough on my digestive system, but it was nice to have the opportunity to skip the seated dinners to eat a quick salad at the buffet or have other lighter meal. In regards to the layout of this ship, I felt that it was a bit confusing and I definitely missed having the central atrium that was present in all other ships. However, we were fortunate enough to have a room in floor 16 so we could be close to the Lido and serenity. Speaking of serenity--- on previous ships, this was on the back of the boat and thus made for a less windy experience, whereas this time it was located on the front of the boat and you were lucky if your food or towels didn't blow away. My other critique of Celebration is that many attractions required an additional cost--- if you're going to advertise a " roller coaster at sea!" , then you shouldn't be charging guests an additional $15 per person to ride it ONCE. Our local 6 Flags has better deals than that. Furthermore due to the high winds and chilly temperatures during our cruise, the " Bolt" rollercoaster was closed more often than it was open. As a result, when we tried to book a ride, they were all sold out. The ropes course and the water slides are free, thankfully, but one of the slides was broken during our trip, so that was a bummer. In regards to the shows and entertainment on this ship, Carnival Celebration blew all the other ships out of the water ( pun intended). Color my world, We Are One, Noche Cubana, and the circus show were absolutely AMAZING. I felt like I was watching some " cirque du Soleil" shows on the cruise ship, and was very impressed! As usual, their Punchliner comedy shows were also hilarious, and they were always a great end to the evening. Overall, due to the greediness of the owners of the ship in making us pay extra for random unnecessary things, I give the ship a 4/5. That rating also includes the fact that, despite advertising " Celebration Key" as a Carnival owner island, all the activities one would want to partake in cost money. I wish cruise ships would stop getting greedy and instead focus on keeping their customers happy by avoiding extra unnecessary charges.

The best perk for booking a suite was the nice size of the room. Unlike Royal Caribbean there was no suite lounge or daily reception. No concierge for booking spa treatments, fine dining etc! There was no coffee available in the suite. There were no treats left by the room attendant. There is reserved seating at all events on Royal not Carnival. Carnival only allowed one meal on their private island Celebration Key (after that you have to pay) Royal provides an endless buffet. There was no private area for suite guests like on Royal Caribbean's private island. The thing I disliked the most about this Carnival cruise was the presence of so much security they were three or four deep everywhere on the ship. In the Limelight club the DJ stopped the music, the lights were turned on and security addressed cruisers with drinks in there hands and no shoes on the dance floor (this happened 4 times while we were there during which the DJ scorned the crowd) It was so tacky. Didn't go back there again. We ate most nights at the Lido Marketplace ( buffet). I like having choices and the food was generally good with the exception of the chicken three times we found it undercooked. The ChiBang restaurant was underwhelming. The appetizers were good the dinner entrees so much. Guys burger joint was delicious just a little salty. The coffee offered in the Lido Marketplace was weak. We had to buy coffee everyday to get a decent cup. The cruise staff were really friendly. The New Year's Eve event was okay. (I like the two Royal Caribbean new years cruises better.) We skipped visiting St. John and Amber Cove ports opting to enjoy the quiet boat instead. Disembarking the boat was quick and easy because we got to the staging area very early and carried our own luggage. Though the walk pushing my luggage back to the car was no fun.

But you will never go hungry here. This was an Eastern Caribbean cruise with 4 stops. They offered a variety of excursions. We are seasoned travelers in the Caribbean so we find out own thing. The islands are tourist oriented so in most cases you can navigate yourself without going on an expensive ship paid excursion. Our room was an accessible accommodation with bars in the shower and probably a little bigger than the others. We were very comfortable. We had a basic internet package snd classic drink package. It worked and very satisfied. This was a lovely vacation with so many options available to just relax or run snd have fun from morning until the wee hours of the morning.

We did a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise (Miami, Key West, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Miami). STATEROOM: We stayed in stateroom 1585 which is on deck 11 in the Aqua Class (priority boarding, use of Persian Garden spa, exclusive dining in Blu Restaurant and a few other perks). A lack of charging ports is a big downfall on this ship. Only three are available (two at the desk, one in the bathroom). We were greeted with a non-emptied trash bin and food wrapped in a napkin in the mini refrigerator. The a/c also wasn't strong but was fairly comfortable. Bottles of water were replenished daily. BATHROOM: Surprisingly the shower's water pressure & drainage were good. Hot water was instant and plentiful. The shower system also sported multiple body jets. Amenities were very perfume-y. Oddly the basin's cold water was always warm. AMENITIES: Unlimited WiFi is now available (for a fee) and worked well. There was a $35 laundry day special. The daily canopies (appetizers delivered to room) were mostly sad and uninspiring. DINING: Blu Restaurant had a nice rotating & standard menu. Murano's food was very good. Silk Harvest was okay, really a P.F. Chang's in disguise. Sushi On 5 had fairly good ramen and sushi. Oceanview Cafe had a nice selection of item from morning till late night. Not once did we eat in the dining room. SHOWS: I'm not a fan of cheesy wannabe Broadway productions, sorry. But Bingo and pool deck parties were fun! SERVICE: Frideny at Guest Relations helped us with a beverage package error. Instead of having the premium, we were showing the lower classic. We (and many others) headed back down to Guest Relations because one of our room keys weren't working. Linda (hostess in Blu Restaurant) was a gem and provided exceptional service each and every time we interacted with her. She is the utmost definition of warmth, professional and friendliness. We really hope to see her again on future sails! Joahanna (server in Blu Restaurant) also took great care of us. She has the sweetest personality and was very professional. All the workers at the Martini Bar were the best, especially Munian! Innovative cocktails and great performances. Taz at the Sunset Bar was the only bartender who greeted AND thanked me. Simple professionalism goes a long way. The rest of the bartenders need to take control of their lines waiting as on many instances they'd assist people who approached the bar after others were waiting to be helped. SHORE EXCURSIONS: Key West - We booked the Key West Old Town Trolley ($25) which was a hop on/off tour then walked around town. Costa Maya - We booked the Costa Maya Triple Play ($109). Note that the "cenote swim" wasn't a swim at all. You enter the cenote, hang on to a rope while your chest down is in dirty-looking water and exit the cenote about 30 yards later. If it's too windy, you may not be able to paddle board. This port was the most disappointing as there was really nothing to see on land sans for a fake Disney-like village full of junk to buy. Cozumel - We booked the Chichen Itza Maya Ruins ($129). Boat ride for 45 minutes then almost 2 hour ride to the site, with just under 2 hours at the site. We and many others got back late to the ship that departs at 4:30pm due to the Cozumel port charging a high mooring fee to the cruise line. (We wanted Chichen Itza by Air but no one else signed up). Grand Cayman - We booked the Catamaran Sail & Stingray City ($79) after the Deluxe version ($59) got canceled due to a mechanical issue with the catamaran. Instead of matching the price, they gave a measly 10% off which was $7 and change, big whoops. Anyway, 15 minute van ride to the port, 25 minute catamaran ride to the site, 40 minutes feeding and interacting with the stingrays, and 30 minute sail back. Lots of free time on land after. TIPS: Book early. Get the beverage package especially if you like to drink booze. Wash your hands often as I witnessed a few passengers walking right out of the bathroom without washing. Gross! OVERALL: Good service and cuisine; the main reasons why we book with Celebrity.

I came here for Otakufest, which is a convention that features Anime, Animation, Cosplay, Gaming, Comics, Music, and more. We came to support one of my friends who recently got into stand up comedy (shoutout to Dao N!) and had a feature in the comedy show for the first day of this event. We came in the afternoon on a Friday of the festival (the first day) and it wasn't terribly busy. The area that the convention center is in an area that's a little crowded (what area of Miami isn't, let's be real) and is formatted a bit odd. The entrance was easy to find and I drove to the gate where the signs were pointing to. When we got to the gate, there was a flat fee for parking and we were told to go around the building and we wouldn't miss the entrance. Driving around the building was ... interesting, there were cars parked all which ways but overall pretty easy to find where we were going. We were able to park in the main lot and there were tons of parking spaces! The festival was easy to find and we went inside with ease. Overall, the space for the convention was great! They had a room for vendors and another room specifically for local artist vendors. Upstairs was were they held most of their events. It didn't feel too overcrowded and the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. Overall, a great space for this pretty large convention.

I suggest to get here early. The lines are long to get in. They check your bags and use metal detectors. This is a casual event. I did noticed some of the attendees dressed pretty sexy and getting into character. A good place to take pictures, they pose. Inside this is what you can expect No judging, webcams, vendors, shows, pops, food, classes, stars, performers, lingerie, toys and the dungeon room. It is an experience to be here. What is cool about this place is that a chance to learn new things from professionals that will explain it in a professional and respectful way. If you have a question about a product it is answered in a professional way. For me that was important . I felt completely comfortable. I am not a person who frequence adult stores and this is my second year attending this conference.

One of the best kept secrets in South Beach is Swoop !!…read more People living on the beach are notorious for not wanted to leave the beach. Why would we all the cool stuff is here already and we don't need to pay for parking, walk most of the time or we could take a cheap cab ride or we can SWOOP !!! Swoop is a slightly pimped up electric golf cart that you can call to pick you up from any bar or night club on the beach and they will take you to the next bar or restaurant or even drop you off at your apartment building or hotel. They will also take you on late night Pizza runs too. The best part is that the price is FREE !! The only ask for tips and semi decent behavior while riding in the car. FREE rides from noon to 2 am from 1st street to 26th street and Ocean Drive to the bay but I have them out later on weekends. It seats 5-6 comfortably and be prepared to wait awhile on a busy night but still so much more fun that a DUI. Last time I was on there, I has a guy with a big ass snake riding in the front seat while my friend was yelling " SWOOP SWOOP SWOOP " and we hit Dewey's, Ted's and 8 Ounce all in one night for only $5 to the driver. We called from each place when we were done and SWOOP appeared. So go ahead and put that number in your cell now because even you come from the mainland you can park your one place and have SWOOP drive you around in open golf cart style for the night.
