We had a good stay at the Biscayne Bay Marriott in Miami. Our room, Room 3004 on the 30th floor, was nice and had a great view of Biscayne Bay, the Venetian Islands, and Miami Beach. We would stay here again. Pricing: We paid $1,038.56 for three nights, or $346.19 per night after various taxes and fees. We came for a wedding and got a group block rate of $269.00 per night before taxes and fees. Wedding Experience: This hotel sits directly on the bay and is adjacent to the Venetian Marina & Yacht Club dock. We attended an Indian wedding here and participated in a baraat (the groom's procession). The groom arrived via boat, which was cool. The ceremony took place outside on the Bayview Terrace. The backdrop was beautiful; very Miami. Lunch in one of the ballrooms was catered by the hotel's sous chef, who is Indian. The Indian food was outstanding, and I made sure to give the chef my compliments in person. The Room: Our room was a "Bayview Queen." It had two queen beds. It was just my wife and me. The room was clean, comfortable, updated, and modern. I appreciated that even though the bathroom had only one sink, there was a decent amount of surface space for our toiletries. Other Notes: We got an $18 daily dining credit, but never used it. It would be nice if the credit was applicable to gift shop purchases (e.g., bottles of water, snacks), but it's not. I relied on the cheap in-room coffee. Not terrible for cheap in-room coffee. The elevators were nice and fast. This hotel has 31 floors. read more

This place is very fake fancy. The views are amazing, the lobby feels clean and sleek, the gym is clean and cute, the pool is pretty, the rooms are clean too. But at the same time: everywhere in the hotel is heavily over scented (including the outside spaces??), the coffee is horrendous, the sliding glass doors in the shower don't stay closed, the mattress is super worn and THE PILLOWS. The pillows are basically flat nothing feathers in a pillow case. So, I wouldn't return on purpose. read more

I am a frequent Marriott guest and Bonvoy member, and this stay at the Marriott Biscayne Bay in Miami has been genuinely upsetting and completely UNACCEPTABLE. It has hit all the marks of feeling unsafe, unclean, and lackluster indifferent customer service. After a long day of travel, we were checked into Room 1205 or 1405 (I can't remember, as we were herded into 2 other rooms since. Because the thing you want to do after an exhausting day is lug luggage around for an hour right?)-- which was already occupied by another guest!!!! We were able to walk straight into someone else's room. This is not just a small mistake; it is a serious security breach. As a woman who often travels solo for work, this was frightening to me. Guests trust Marriott with their safety and privacy, and this incident made it very clear that those systems failed entirely. We were then moved to a second room, Room 2805, only to discover a bathroom that was filthy and clearly not cleaned. The toilet had poop all over it. My husband started to clean it because he needed to use it, but stopped because he realized it's not his job to be cleaning a room that should have been an upgrade from the first mishap. After already experiencing a security issue, being placed in a room with such unsanitary conditions felt defeating and honestly degrading. What made this experience even worse was the response from staff and management. While they acknowledged the issues, there was no sense of urgency, accountability, or genuine care. Getting compensation required multiple calls and follow-ups from me, and the final offer was a measly 30,000 Bonvoy points, which barely covers anything given this hotel's pricing. No partial refund, no comped meals or drinks, and no meaningful effort to restore trust or make us feel valued. We are now being moved to a third room, after unpacking multiple times. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like an inconvenience. This experience reflects systemic failures.....in guest safety, housekeeping standards, and service recovery. I am sharing this publicly because leadership at the corporate level should be aware of what is happening at this property. This is not the level of care or professionalism expected from the Marriott brand. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here, especially solo travelers or anyone expecting basic cleanliness and safety. Such a beautiful hotel. My family and I stayed here before we headed out on our cruise. The location was near everything. My room faced the water and Bayside. It was such a beautiful site. Since I arrived pretty late to the hotel, I decided to do dinner at the hotel. My waiter, Frank, was amazing! He was very attentive and gave his faves to help me choose a dish. I went with the chicken and grits. Delicious! The bed was really comfortable and I was extremely pleased with my stay. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing! 10/10 would stay again. read more

The location is about as close as you can get to the cruise port. There are great views of the bay, and the bridges, and the port. The hotel has bikes available, and South Beach is a peasant ride from here. The on site restaurant was excellent, and we didn't wander too far from the hotel, but there are enough bars and restaurants nearby to stay entertained. I will highly consider staying here again before a Miami cruise. read more

Stayed July 2025 with husband and family (big birthday trip). Check-in started out great they were very cheery and friendly. Cannot trust their cleaning. There was toilet paper in our toilet. But we brushed that off and I got out my clorox wipes to sanitize the bathroom. However ... see pictures for the Contact lens stuck on the shower door from a previous person. Called and they sent housekeeping to get it. That person offered to give some points for the lack of cleaning. Sliding glass door did not lock. Took 2 different engineers coming to our room. So lots of time wasted. A/C did not work well in our room. Ice machine on our floor never worked. We did let them know & they suggested we get ice from a different floor, which we did. Mind you, it is HOT in Miami. Just sharing my not so great experience. We did talk to someone at the front desk and got pushed around there. Felt like we were annoying him and he just wanted to give us the breakfast in their club for our room, but we were with a group. Settled on 100 f&b credit. Which he ended up removing the resort credit (for both days of our stay) that we got when we initially checked in. So it ended up being less. We didn't feel like going back and wasting more of our vacation time to see of that was correct. First time staying in Miami and I don't think we'd pick this hotel again based on these. This is really 4.5 star experience, but would like to be generous. 2 night stay on business. Got nice room with balcony and expansive view of the Bay. Titanium upgrade works, sometimes. Good sized room, clean. The furniture is dated, but nothing out of ordinary. Service was quite friendly and cheerful, absolutely no complaints! The cost was quite reasonable. Location & room view are the only good thing about this restaurant, it's walking distance to everything and you can take the free trolley to everywhere. View is gorgeous. Service sucks ! Check in being an Elite you are asked for ID and dealt with in an abrupt manner. M lounge for members you get asked if the extra food on your table you were taking it as that's not allowed. Maybe we are slow eaters ??? Breakfast buffet they ran out of plates so there was a long line everywhere and omelette station was a mess. Rooftop/ edge water bar the sever disliked her job. We sat there for 15 minutes no service. We went up to her and she was just standing there. We left and said have a Greta afternoon not a word. I couldn't believe this was a Marriott hotel! Here are the main issues with our stay: 1. My daughter took a bath and the water was green. In addition, the bathtub would not drain. 2. When we went to lie down, there was a brown stain on the bedding. Management came to our room to verify both issues, apologized sincerely, and offered points along with a room upgrade. Unfortunately, this didn't help, as we were checking out the next morning. 3. Early the next morning, I went to the lobby to get some work done and found people sleeping there who were asking guests for money. If you are going to charge a resort fee, some of those funds should be allocated to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and a secure environment for paying guests. read more

Stayed here recently for five nights and enjoyed my stay. Rooms: - I initially had a room with a king size bed that I liked, but it shared a room with the elevator bank, which got to be pretty loud. If you're a deep sleeper, you won't notice it. - I was very grateful that I was able to move rooms. I moved to a room with two queen beds and slept very well. This hotel is on the quieter side (which I appreciated) and has great views. - Both of my rooms had balconies with great views of the surrounding buildings, the ocean, and the hotel pool Amenities: - The gym is a very good size (6 treadmills) with a lot of equipment and weights. The beautiful views also don't hurt. I was fortunate to catch a few sunrises while on the treadmill - The M Club on the first floor has breakfast and dinner hors d'oeuvres during certain hours for Marriott members - The Gold Coast restaurant on the first floor provides dine-in and room service options - There is a store on the first floor as well with necessities, souvenirs, snacks, and a small Starbucks (there is a full Starbucks through the doors in the lobby that lead next door) Miscellaneous: - I was staying here during Hurricane Milton and the staff was excellent. Even though we were very lucky and fortunate to be far enough away from the hurricane, there was still risk of the hurricane changing course. My wife and I stayed here in September for our wedding, and as the bride and groom, we expected a smooth, enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but. Arrival: Check-in started off well. The employee was friendly and welcoming until we learned about a surprise hold. Even though our stay was prepaid, we were told there would be a $150 per night security deposit plus the full cost of the stay. That meant authorizing an extra $450 we hadn't planned for, and neither had our guests. Most hotels charge a flat $100 deposit, and nowhere on the website was this large amount mentioned. Room Experience: Our first room, on the 14th floor, reeked of cigarette smoke. We asked to move and were relocated to the 22nd floor, which was much better. The new room was clean and comfortable, and the basics like food and beverage service were solid. Still, it was disappointing to see many of our guests placed on higher floors, greeted with glasses of rosé at check-in, and welcomed with in-room amenities while we received none of that in either room. Service Recovery: I called the front desk politely and explained the situation, even offering to pay for something to make my wife feel special. The representative was kind and promised to send something that evening. We returned five hours later to nothing. I later spoke with a manager who again promised to make it right. When we got back, there was finally a small amenity, a bottle of water and a bag of gummies, which felt more like an afterthought than genuine effort. By that point, we just didn't have the time or energy to keep chasing the front desk to deliver on promises that clearly weren't going to happen. Overall: We gave the staff multiple chances to fix things, but each time they fell short. We didn't expect red carpet treatment, but as the couple whose wedding brought more than 70 guests and significant business to this hotel, we expected a bit more care and consideration. At the very least, the same level of attention our guests received. Many of our guests shared similar frustrations with the front desk, confusion about the deposit, and a general lack of warmth or hospitality. For a brand built on guest experience, this was disappointing to see across the board. In conclusion: The room was clean, and the food and beverage service was good, but that's where the positives end. We chose Marriott for the name, the trust, and the promise of personalized hospitality. Instead, we received what felt like less than the bare minimum. Again It's a nice hotel with clean rooms, but you might as well stay somewhere more affordable like a Holiday Inn for the same, if not better, experience. We left frustrated, upset, and very unlikely to return. read more

(From March 2023) Checked in here around noonish on the Monday of March 13th. While disappointed they didn't have any rooms available, I walked around the city and the hotel complex before coming back to the front desk around 230 when my room was ready. It was worth the wait as they gave me a nice upgrade from a room to a suite overlooking the city on the 20th floor (Perks of being a long-time Marriott member). The renovations appear to be complete and it shows based on the cleaniness and modern feel of the room. Favorite part of the room is the overlook of the bay area with all the boats/yachts and the water. Other amenities is the workout room and the pool on the 7th floor. Also there's several large conference rooms on floors 2-4. Valet parking is here too but didn't apply for me. The hotel is quite pricy like all hotels in Miami so your best bet is to use points/awards for places like this. That was the only way I could afford to stay here. I can see why as you get what you pay for with establishments like this one! read more

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. I came in pretty late and was eager to eat dinner, and the only thing open was their restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that the destination fee comes with a $35 meal credit, which I used to order From the Gold Coast restaurant here. I didn't love the food, but all right about that in my review for Gold Coast. As far as the hotel goes, it was pristinely clean and very modern. My room was spacious, and the facilities were also expensive and I would've used the fitness center if I had more time. The location is a big plus for this place. In the morning I took a walk by the water, which you can access directly from the building. This is one of the best Marriott locations I've seen that. I will definitely recommend. read more

Worst Marriott in 2000 stays!!! My brother in law is a titanium elite lifetime member and this was the worst marriott!! Their service is atrocious and I would assume this is because they automatically pass on an 18% service fee so they do not have to do anything to make it a nice stay. You never hear welcome, thank you, or anything! You wait 10 minutes for any service and when they provide it's with a frown on their face. If you ask for the manager they will tell you "they are on a call for the next hour so call the corporate line". I will be moving my business to another hotel chain just based off this stay. read more

12.08.22-My crew flew down to Miami for a cycling event. I was happy organizers selected this location as the host hotel. I support the Marriott brand & knew it was near the places I planned to visit during my time down South. The hotel's holiday decor is nice, but the hotel is still under construction. As such, there were many restricted areas, make shift bar, inoperable elevators, etc. I arrived around 11:00am and hung out with my friends who had renovated rooms on the 20th & 30th floors. Their rooms were nice with stunning views of the marina. When my roommate arrived, we checked in. Much to my chagrin, it was on the 6th floor in a non-renovated room with extremely loud construction noise. The 6th floor also has sad yellowish overhead lighting & a bathroom sink that didn't drain properly. We were right next to the construction site and subjected to constant banging. This was distressing to say the least. We rushed to the front desk to report our grievances. They couldn't accommodate any changes then advised to try again tomorrow. We tried and tried again. My girlfriend continued to advocate for the change when I had lost hope. Her perseverance worked and we moved to the 22nd floor in a renovated room. We left early in the mornings for bike rides & returned late afternoon. No Housekeeping...It took multiple calls to finally receive fresh linen and a bathroom cleaning. Disappointing experience. Rooms are nice and updated. Elite lounge is pretty to look at but relatively useless during the day since there are no snacks (just Pepsi products so you're out of luck if you like Coca Cola). Views are nice if you're on a high floor and they had no issues honoring a late checkout for elite status. Catering food was so-so. Meeting rooms don't have consistent temperatures. Spent a week here and when we first arrived here our room was dirty with hair all over the bathroom and also windows, absolutely disgusting. For 270$ a night was definitely upset. Overall I believe this location is the best location when it comes to hotels as it is right in the middle of everything and offers parking. Was also a good location since our seaplane tour and boat tour was right next door. The food and service was overall great was just really upset at the fact our room was dirty when we first got it. Also the cleaning lady asked for a tip after she cleaned it when it should have been clean which also made me upset. After spending a week here in the higher bay views in a king room, spent about 2400$. Hopefully next time our room will be clean. read more

Really happy with the location of this hotel, as well as the room. I wasn't aware of self parking when I arrived, however friends told me that this was an option. Both self parking and valet is expensive. $36 and $42 plus tip. The hotel had Christmas decorations up which was pretty. They have a restaurant on premise and there are other restaurants within walking distance as well. Check Yelp to decide. The hotel has a coffee shop on premise with a gift shop as well. There are plenty of arras to sit to meet with people throughout the hotel. The room is spacious, the views are beautiful as you can see. The pillars outside of the entrance lobby was nicely covered with sheets so that it looks more homely versus a parking center pillar lot. Small things matter. Lobby was bright and modern. We got the room where they were doing construction and had a rude awakening in the morning with the sounds of drills and noise of construction work. The window view faced a peek to the ocean, but the building across the window area, had a horrible looking tennis court that was unappealing to look at while being at the window looking out. The room was ok. It needs a bit of remodeling touch ups like the popcorn ceiling and the AC preferred to be facing another angle. Convenient little shop connected to the lobby area and we got a massage there as well as trying the hotel restaurant. They were both on point. Mediocre at its best. read more

Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay even though it's in the middle of summer. There's also not many restaurants or bars within walking distance, although you're directly behind the harbor if you want to charter a yacht. I am a gold elite member at marriott and go out of my way to stay at marriott properties. I can confidently say this was one of the bigger disappointments we've had recently. This hotel is not cheap. We picked this over cheaper nearby courtyard and ac properties because of the pool....its miami, i want a pool. Except there is no pool. It's a hole. It's VERY clearly been under construction for quite a while, and marriott is still advertising the pool during booking. They have a "first come first serve" relationship withe the doubletree next door, which isnt really with the doubletree: the hotel keys you're given dont work because youre actually going to a private condo pool that the double tree shares, so at one point we were locked out of the other building since the keys didnt work. Also, they didn't even tell us that at checkin : i had to request information thru the app on where the advertised rooftop pool was and was only then directed to the next door location. The gym equipment is falling apart but the view is nice. The rooms are okay. The "checkin gift" for elite members was two bottles of water. They have refill stations for the water on multiple floors. The 30 dollar charge daily can be applied to food, which equates to basically one dish per room per day. read more

Construction going on until next month I think. You can hear the drilling at 9am from upstairs and outside. The hotel is connected to a small indoor mall with a few restaurants, hair salon, dog groomer and more. Valet parking was $39 and self parking wasn't available due to the renovation so they gave us valet parking for $34. Also, they do get your car quickly within 10 minutes. The best part of the trip was the front desk staff and the free apple cider as soon as you walk in. read more

First class all the way. From our arrival, the valet, very professional, fast to retrieve our car, even when the motor lobby was teaming with people, our car arrived ahead of us when requesting it prior to leaving the room. The valet people were friendly and remembered us each time we came and left the hotel. The front desk, great interactions on check-in, very personable young man did a great job with a smile throughout. The members' lounge was clean and well stocked throughout our visit. Also very friendly staff in the lounge as well. An interesting and great idea was a bottle (aluminum, I think) of water that was refillable on our floor by the ice machine with filtered water. We used these refillable bottles throughout our visit. Loved this extra above and beyond step. Our room was nicely decorated, the view was awesome of the port of Miami, and a bridge to an island can be seen in my nighttime photo attached. Also, an entertaining view of the marina below our room. Our room was kept clean throughout our stay by housekeeping. When coming and going to the hotel, a doorman almost always opened the doors for us with a smile and a good morning, evening, etc. We visited the pool deck for some sun and a dip in the pool. Very clean, nice towels, and chaise lounges great temperature of water in the pool, and an awesome view from the upper deck area. What I noticed the most at this property were the smiles in the hallways, elevators, pool deck, the obvious positive hospitality traits I have come to expect in my over 25 years of travel for business travel, now recently retired. While Marriotts are not the low price leader, they do excel at what is important to me, great service, and hospitality. Hope you enjoy the puctures, our room was on floor 21. After staying at the Aloft Miami Brickell during our last trip to Miami, we wanted to change it up this time around and try something in the Marriott portfolio this time around. Was able to use my Suite Night awards to get upgraded to the Vice-Presidential suite, which was a nice treat. However, I was actually left a little unimpressed by the room, which I know is a fairly odd thing to say. I'll speak of the best part of the room...the awe inspiring view of Biscayne Bay. This room knows what it's best asset is, and provides floor-to-ceiling glass window views of the bay. Seriously, there's nothing better than waking up and having that view to wake up to. Other than that, really appreciated the huge dinner table and computer desk, as we were actually working half the time we were here and needed room to work. It was also nice having two mini refrigerators, one at the mini kitchenette area and another which would have been a bar area. Bed was also solid, no complaints here. However, given the size of the room, I would've figured that the bathroom would've been pretty nice right? Dude, it wasn't any bigger than one found in a freaking Courtyard. I would've expected to find a bathroom like this in a regular room, but not the Vice-Presidential suite. Other than that, the room wasn't a dump, but it certainly is in desperate need of renovation. You can just tell it's been worn down over the years and they haven't done enough upkeep to keep up with the times. Pretty surprisingly as the lobby is actually pretty nice. Pool situation is...alright, I guess. It's not a dump, lots of pool chairs and plenty of space to lay out. But it manages to suffer from extremely poor design. You have an entire bay to look at, yet the only view we have is of the hotel itself or the neighboring DoubleTree Hotel. Really awe inspiring... Staff here are solid, although to be fair we asked for the minimum. Just checked in, had some minor requests, and didn't request housekeeping. About the only complex thing they handled for us was making sure to charge us for parking for only two of our five nights here, as we didn't get a car until midway through our stay. As it is, parking is $29 for self parking (which we did) or $34 for valet parking. The parking lot is SMALL. I'm pretty glad we didn't stay here during a weekend, as I can imagine that it would have become difficult to find a parking spot. Location is not particularly great, which is surprising as I thought this would actually be a fairly prime location. There's really nothing around here aside from a Publix, a Burger King, and a few restaurants that I wasn't going to. Thankfully, the Adrienne Arsht Metromover station is literally around the corner, which helped move us through downtown for free. All in all, the hotel is solid and we had a good stay here. But the hotel's lack of upkeep and average location leaves me a bit underwhelmed. With all that said, I would love to have that Biscayne Bay view back in my life... read more

Not an Ideal stay and bad start to our vacation. First impression - it looked really nice and upscale. Which would lead you to believe that the service level would match that. Long story short - the service fell short of that. We had 2 rooms and after we checked in and brought our bags to the room we decided to head down to Concierge Lounge to have the lunch we purchased. The attendant at the lounge informed us that each room is allowed to bring 2 people each - we had 5 people in our party (we had 2 rooms) so one of us would be left out. That was not wait the front desk informed us when we checked in. Someone from our party went to the front desk and spoke with a Manager that was on duty - and they gave us their card to get all 5 of us in. While that was happening - the remaining 4 of us went back to our room, as it was humiliating just standing there being denied entry into that lounge to eat the food we purchased. The attendant was overly rude and just made us feel unwelcomed.We ended up just eating lunch in our rooms. The next morning, we went down to the lounge again for breakfast before we checked out for our cruise. We presented the Managers business card to allow entry for all 5 of us. The attendant that was there that morning - denied us again. This time stating that both rooms were under the same person, so she would allow 2 people in and the remaining 3 people would have to pay for entry, How is this even possible that we're told 3 different things within a 24 hour period?!! Again we stood out there and was made into a spectacle while other guests were allowed in. Again, someone from our party had to goto the front desk to get this all cleared up - a manager had a word with the attendant and she still fought disagreed with him in front of us "But food services team said.....". Eventually we were let in. We were humiliated twice just to gain entry into this lounge - for beverages and pasties. The first day, we even had our own food. The person who's name the rooms were in spends a lot of money with Marriott and this was just a very poor experience just to gain access into a dining area. The rooms were nice, a couple of the outlets in the rooms did not work. The view from the top floor was nice and we were able to see the cruise ships come and go. But this really set the tone for our cruise. I expected better service from a property like this. Even if the policy was what they said it was (we were told 3 different versions of the policy) seeing how often we stayed at Marriott properties, would make the exception for the customers instead of putting them through this twice in 1 stay. There are a lot of hotel options in downtown Miami and all of them are overpriced and overrated...but...welcome to Miami. Where everything is over hyped. I had been planning a weekend trip to Miami for a while but could not get over the hotel prices and parking on top of that. What drew me to Marriott Biscayne Bay was they had a promotion where parking was 50% off so it was only 17 per night vs. some of the other hotels $55 a night. Before I get into the review it is important to know that this hotel is under renovation and is supposed to be finished in December 2022. I must say I was very happy even though there was obvious construction. The pool was closed, and they have relocated their onsite restaurant was open but had been moved into a conference room, there was not an onsite store, and the lobby bar had been moved to the 2nd floor lounge area. I must say they are managing very well during the construction and remodel. We were upgraded at check-in due to our status with Marriott...We stayed in room 3001 on the 30th floor. It was a newly renovated room and seemed like nobody had stayed in it yet. The room was a little small but had amazing panoramic views. 3/4s of the walls was windows that overlooked Biscayne Bay, a Marina, and the cruise terminals. It was cool to watch the cruise ships come in and out. The remodeled room was very modern and nice. There is an attached parking garage right off the main lobby. The usual nightly rate is around 35/day. I was able to find a discount parking rate which made it probably the cheapest daily parking you can find downtown. The parking garage is small, only 4 levels and does not have a lot of parking. My recommendation is if you do not need a car when visiting Miami then do not take one. Price: Knowing that everything is very expensive in Miami I would have to say this hotel is reasonability priced for its location in comparison to other hotels. However, still very overpriced for more than a couple of nights. Miami really needs a reality check when it comes to prices. I could have stay 7 days on the West coast of Florida for the price I paid for 2 nights. I had breakfast at their onsite restaurant Catch...do not waste your money. It is extremely overpriced, and the food reminded me of hospital café food. 2 people breakfast was $78! There are many other restaurants with better quality food at similar or better prices. But I guess you are paying for connivence. All in all, this is a reasonable hotel in downtown Miami and centrally located. I am curious to see what the prices are once the renovation is complete. read more

Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay - Corner room 3001 - Hotels Near Me - Miami, Florida

I have been to this Marriott before for another work conference. The valet staff is very friendly. The hotel itself is decent. I sat in the guest lounge area I guess you could call it. There were about 7 or 8 "pods" with comfortable seating and you could easily distance from others. This part of the hotel is very clean and modern. I finally went to my conference and this area feels outdated. I do not know how old this hotel is.... Anyway, we had some nice snacks and quite a variety of soft drinks and waters. The staff is nice overall. There are many areas and floors for conferences so if you are having a conference and want lots of spaces to choose from, Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay might be a good choice for you. read more

This is my first time staying here, we are having my real estate company early Christmas party here for 100 people, and its nice its attached to a mall,the only reason I didn't give 5 star because pool and Jacuzzi is broken down..although they gave us another pool to use Ive have room service twice both times food was good, I like that its in downtown as opposed to the beach I suppose..I may take a city tour tommorrow read more

We stayed here for about a week and it was a decent hotel. The views were most impressive. The location was decent, but around this time, there is a lot of construction happening along the freeway and adjoining buildings, so beware you will be in the middle of a construction site. If you've got kids, this place is good because you're close to the Frost Science Center and Wynwood Walls but quite a drive from South Beach. The hotel front desk staff, depending on who you spoke with, fluctuated from condescending to polite but cold. The bell hops valet and anyone else downstairs were great, though. The housekeeping service did a decent job but forgot to throw out the garbage a couple of times. Overall, it's a 3 star location, not bad, not great. If you're looking for a decent stay and not expecting to be overwhelmed, this is the place. read more

The room is very nice and updated but that is the only thing nice about this hotel. Front desk is terrible, pool is very tiny not nice, overpriced rooms because of location. Lots of ghetto people staying at the hotel and a ton of marijuana smoking. I've been to a lot nicer marriotts. This is just a place to sleep if you need to go to Miami. read more

Comfortable hotel , backs up to the water. Cons: they add $30 to your hotel stay for a food & beverage credit that you MUST use. Not ideal as it seems to force their restaurant on you. read more
