We found this hotel last minute after a stressful situation, and it truly could not have been a better experience. They were able to get us checked in within 45 minutes, and from the moment we arrived we were met with the absolute best service. The staff were so accommodating, friendly, and genuinely kind. After hearing about our struggles with our previously booked hotel, they even upgraded us to a balcony room, which meant more to us than they probably realized. The front desk staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. We also enjoyed time at the bar (highly recommend the espresso martinis!), had a great dinner at the restaurant, and were so impressed with how immaculately clean and comfortable the room was. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We truly cannot say enough great things about this hotel and the people who work there. Nice! From the rooftop pool to the closeness of the club we were going to, Arlo Wynwood hit the spot! Located on the south end of Wynwood, it was close to the venue we were going to (Sable) and perfect for a staycation. When I looked online, prices were extremely reasonable for the location and amenities. They have a Florida resident rate that makes it a great spot for a staycation. The Florida resident fee also includes a 15% Discount on food and beverage as well as free valet parking. My ladyfriend & I originally selected a room with a balcony, and a few days later received a promo email for an upgrade to a corner room. While larger, I must have misread whether it had a balcony (it didn't). The only other issue was that the minibar was stocked with for sale items, leaving barely any room for a bottle we took - or any potential takeout. The room itself was pretty large. We had windows that gave us a view into the Wynwood street scene (as well as nearby construction sites; more new restaurants?) There's a classic divan near the window as well as a king size bed with a soft & fluffy mattress. We loved the fact that the AC was actually really cold. The bathroom had a nice spacious shower with great water flow. The room is also fitted with wireless phone chargers, making packing convenient. As far as amenities, there's also a photobooth in the lobby and admission to the nearby Museum of Graffiti is complementary. The hotel staff was really helpful. As it were, when I got to my room I thought I left my glasses in the car. I call the front desk, and they reach out to the valet. They were ready to bring down my car when I found the glasses in the room (so basically false alarm). I really appreciate the level of service. read more

I've stayed at Arlo Wynwood a handful of times now for work and aside from the negotiated corporate discount provided and close proximity to the office, I can see why it is the company's preferred hotel of choice . Despite the older but up and coming neighborhood, the hotel building itself is new and beautifully constructed. From the comfortable lobby, the high-tech elevators, to the stylish and modern rooms. The elevators will automatically go to your designated level once you tap your room card. However, you will need to pay attention to the LED display on the side of the elevator to determine which elevator is the one you should hop onto. The rooms themselves are clean, spacious and current. With plenty of room for luggages, multiple guests, as well as room to eat and work. There are also wireless induction charges on the bed headboards, free Nespresso pods and water bottles always stocked in the room, as well as some fortune cookies to greet you when you first arrive. Balcony rooms offer a nice touch if you want some fresh Miami air without the need to leave your room. I've definitely eaten more than a few UberEats dinners out here during my stays. Word of caution however. Balcony rooms do get very loud as they have parties on the ground level restaurant as well as the rooftop pool. Earplugs are offered upon request. The rooms are also strangely lacking in luggage racks so you will have to request those from the front desk. Some minor complaints about the design of the rooms aside from the noise issue are: -Limited hangers and hanger racks to hang up your clothes. Additionally, the hangers are located right above the mini-bar so there's not a lot of height to hang clothes without them draping too far down. -Virtually no fridge space as they stock it with mini-bar items that you will get charged for. Exceptional Clean hotel. The room is very spacious, clean, modern look. Bathroom very clean nice, upgraded. They offer valet parking and help with the luggage. You can call the front desk in advance when you need your vehicle. ( that's nice not having to wait 15 minutes for your vehicle) They offered late check out that we took advantage of...until 2pm. Which gave us time in the morning to check out the pool area and explore the wynwood area. The hotel has a roof top pool that has plenty pool chairs and like 3-4 cabanas with flat tv screen. The pool area was well kept. It has an outdoor bar by the pool area. Towels are available for the guest. On one of the floors they had a pop up Jewlery store that will soon coming to the Miami area. On the same floor we saw a bar area that looked really cute. ( forgot the floor-maybe 3rd floor.) It was like 4pm when we in that area. The bar was closed at that time. So we could not check it out but it was super cute. I would like to check it out another time. Down stairs they had a pool table, table to sit around and the cutest photo both. ( like the ones you see in the movies!) They have a restaurant that offers some quick coffee and bites to go or a sit down meal. The restaurant has a little limited menu and we were in a mood for pasta so we opted for a glass of wine at night and Sunday morning coffee to go! Oh this hotel is in the heart of wynwood! We had salty donuts and many restaurants, museums ,night life near us. The Florida special grated free valet parking! ( barely see that in high end hotels/resorts) We were told about a van with call ( reservations) will pick u up for free and drop off at nearby spots. The hotel provided 2 entry to the graffiti museum for free. So that was another plus plus!!! The valet staff and front desk were very nice and helpful. I saw they have a schedule with events or things going on at the hotel. The hotel has many amenities to offer. So it was a great staycation for our event . Arlo Wynwood is a great hotel if you're looking to be close to Wynwood. The room is super simple but it's decorated very thoughtful with wireless chargers, a mini fridge and a nice bathroom. We lucked out with a higher floor and I think that helped a lot with the noise. But do know if you're staying on the weekend you will most definitely hear noise from all the music at different bars. The gym is super nice and there's a rooftop pool. They give you a $15 a day credit that you can use at the hotel restaurant on the first floor for lunch or dinner. Plus the cute photo ops an the rooftop bar with the cool colorful stairs! Only downside parking can be a real pain but if you park at the nearby garage by booking online you can get a better deal. Arlo valet is crazy expensive and they add another fee on top of the quoted price or even more if you have an SUV (cray). But that's Miami with parking, otherwise we really liked staying here! read more

If you're noise sensitive and here on a busy weekend, you may hear noise from the events/parties they have, but they do provide ear plugs. Food really messed me and another friend (separate room) up which ruined most of my trip (missed the entire day 1 of a 2 day event) and prevented me from enjoying the amenities (gym, pool) I was able to see the art gallery before I ate, but other than that I had to spend most of the time in the room. Lack of convenience shop for things like Imodium or alka seltzer to even remedy it. read more

We had a great stay at Arlo. We are locals who wanted a short getaway, and it was a great way to be centrally located in Wynwood, easy parking option, and come back after a night out. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and I appreciated the design of the hotel. Plus, it was great value for the affordable price we paid. It didn't feel like your typical chain hotel (I don't like Marriott's, ACs, Yotel, etc) so it was a way better experience at the same price point. I've been hearing about this venue for quite some time, but never got the chance to check it out. I went for an Art basel kickoff brunch, eloquently titled basil brunch wear light bites, and a complementary welcome cocktail were given and live art was being painted. This is the perfect venue for that type of thing. The indoor outdoor bar is vast and has space for many people, there are multiple indoor rooms, as well as the outdoor patio lined with foliage and seating, making it an inviting space with dynamic elements. There are even games, giant Connect, four and giant Jenga to keep the guests entertained. The rooftop vibe gives a stunning view of the Wynwood skyline. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool but I know of many parties that take place there and can't wait to come back and check it out. I walked in to relax at the bar. Great parking in the area on a Friday. This is Wynwood, so I was quite surprised. There was a live band playing from Brazil and it was just a relaxing atmosphere. I had the garlic and mushrooms pizza, and it was fresh and delicious. My first drink was the soursop with apricot, then the fruit drink (check picture). Everything was well made and just made my night. I would definitely visit myself again by myself just to relax and have a good vibe. There's so another bar on the third floor, and this allows you to see the city. I loved it up there as well. read more

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, in my life. I stayed for a week, it was noisy ever single day. The room I originally checked into smelled like sewage the second day and made me so sick I was late for work . They ended up moving me to a balcony room which was even louder than the first room and it was next to the housekeeping room and I kept hearing them come in and out of the room. It was a horrible experience. They charge $40 for parking as well. The staff was really friendly and nice . That's about the only thing good about the hotel. If you like not being able to sleep well then this hotel is perfect for you. read more

If you're staying here on a weekend be warned, they throw parties in the courtyard and if your room is facing the courtyard you're getting no sleep. They helped with restaurant recommendations, taught me new words in Spanish for my trip next weekend and helped me navigate my wheelchair across the threshold without a blink. Really wanted to love this hotel. The first sign of issues to come were the ear plugs provided on the night stands. There is construction taking place directly across from the rooms - at ALL hours. The rooftop was very loud (1am Friday morning). The hallway doors were slamming all night - think heavy doors with bars to push open. It must've been their housekeeping, along with the doors to the elevator and other guest rooms. Overall - I loved the hotel, its aesthetic, and the guys at the front door/valet were super kind and helpful. The area surrounding the hotel I didn't feel extremely safe by myself walking around, definitely wouldn't have gone on a walk after dark. The 3rd floor has a really great bar/lounge - Higher Ground - that was at 10% occupancy when I went through during day or before they closed at 10pm. Won't be staying here again - unfortunately due to the price, the noises, and the neighborhood. read more

This has been the worst hotel I ever stayed at. No where does it say there is no parking and then I'll have to pay $40 to park with you. Get to the room there are ear plugs should have known something was off when you offer ear plugs. These walls are paper thin and can hear people outside in the hallway and the outside outsides conversation clearly. Not to mention the cars and motorcycles that have drag shows down the street all night. You would think you have a cop circle around and stop that. We got 0 sleep staying here. The bed feels like sleeping on the floor I could have stayed in my car and probably slept better. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone not even a homeless man. It might be close to the port but other than that this place is a terrible hotel. How is it you allow people to be outside to 5 am in the morning being loud asf. read more

It was perfect for a few hours and we left a little early to go across the way to an adorable donut/coffee shop! The area looks fun- we wished we had more time to explore. I don't recommend this hotel at all. I had a very unpleasant, unrelaxing stay, starting with the plumbing. It took 4 full minutes to get hot water from the faucet. The room was cold and the thermostat didn't work. I had to wear long johns and a sweatshirt to bed, in Miami! Running the water in the walk-in shower flooded the room. Closets are too short for pants, dresses, and coats. There were four hangers for 2 guests and one luggage rack for two guests. The blankets we requested because we were freezing were cotton bedspreads. We got sick of having to tip every tim we needed something which was often. Plus you can't get change at the desk so sometimes you can't tip! You can't get your own ice. Espresso (no coffee) in room is nice but you get only 3 pods for 2 guests. Bed, pillows were very comfortable. TV streaming options didn't work. Pro tip: Learn how to use the shower fixtures before getting into it. Shower water is scalding hot and it takes a minute to adjust the water temp. Housekeeping was shoddy. They left a bag full of trash in the room, didn't clean up the espresso area, and there were brown stains on the floor. Breakfast for two was over $100 with tip. Service was slow. Grab and Go was empty by 9:30 am and for the rest of the day. BUT the wonderful Salty Donuts is less than a block away for a breakfast option. The balcony door was very heavy, doesn't stay open, and is hard to lock. The glass walls surrounding the balcony were very dirty. The bathroom lights are on timers so there's no night light. The hotel staff is very gracious and friendly. The rooftop pool is amazing and almost makes up for the rest. $25 martinis are offered at the bar. The room rate is reasonable. DANIEL the Hispanic condescending tone carrying manager ruined my girlfriend and I coffee date due to some personal high powered attitude instead of being welcoming and about customer service. I am an event coordinator in the area and would frequently visit Arlos Cafeteria and 3 floor Garden. This guy because I can't even call him a gentleman acted more like a racist swine than a welcoming customer service specialis. Stay away from Arlo and no Afro Latin or Caribbean people should be doing anything there. Miami we have lost our customer service touch. read more

Stayed here for 5 nights. Tuesday-Saturday Very esthetic hotel, very clean room, housekeeping consistently did a great job with our room, location is excellent for walking around wynwood! Steamer & blow dryer readily accessible in room. but a few issues: 1. Mattress is extremely firm, if you're not use to this be prepared to wake up feeling like you slept on bricks. 2. No in room dining 3. Walls are paper thin! I could hear everything next door from arguments at 3AM to.. you name it. 4. During our weekday stay the valet personnel was hard to find leading to delays retrieving our car. We did notice more staff & efficiency as we got closer to the weekend. read more
