Nice! From the rooftop pool to the closeness of the club we were going to, Arlo Wynwood hit the spot! Located on the south end of Wynwood, it was close to the venue we were going to (Sable) and perfect for a staycation. When I looked online, prices were extremely reasonable for the location and amenities. They have a Florida resident rate that makes it a great spot for a staycation. The Florida resident fee also includes a 15% Discount on food and beverage as well as free valet parking. My ladyfriend & I originally selected a room with a balcony, and a few days later received a promo email for an upgrade to a corner room. While larger, I must have misread whether it had a balcony (it didn't). The only other issue was that the minibar was stocked with for sale items, leaving barely any room for a bottle we took - or any potential takeout. The room itself was pretty large. We had windows that gave us a view into the Wynwood street scene (as well as nearby construction sites; more new restaurants?) There's a classic divan near the window as well as a king size bed with a soft & fluffy mattress. We loved the fact that the AC was actually really cold. The bathroom had a nice spacious shower with great water flow. The room is also fitted with wireless phone chargers, making packing convenient. As far as amenities, there's also a photobooth in the lobby and admission to the nearby Museum of Graffiti is complementary. The hotel staff was really helpful. As it were, when I got to my room I thought I left my glasses in the car. I call the front desk, and they reach out to the valet. They were ready to bring down my car when I found the glasses in the room (so basically false alarm). I really appreciate the level of service.

I've stayed at Arlo Wynwood a handful of times now for work and aside from the negotiated corporate discount provided and close proximity to the office, I can see why it is the company's preferred hotel of choice . Despite the older but up and coming neighborhood, the hotel building itself is new and beautifully constructed. From the comfortable lobby, the high-tech elevators, to the stylish and modern rooms. The elevators will automatically go to your designated level once you tap your room card. However, you will need to pay attention to the LED display on the side of the elevator to determine which elevator is the one you should hop onto. The rooms themselves are clean, spacious and current. With plenty of room for luggages, multiple guests, as well as room to eat and work. There are also wireless induction charges on the bed headboards, free Nespresso pods and water bottles always stocked in the room, as well as some fortune cookies to greet you when you first arrive. Balcony rooms offer a nice touch if you want some fresh Miami air without the need to leave your room. I've definitely eaten more than a few UberEats dinners out here during my stays. Word of caution however. Balcony rooms do get very loud as they have parties on the ground level restaurant as well as the rooftop pool. Earplugs are offered upon request. The rooms are also strangely lacking in luggage racks so you will have to request those from the front desk. Some minor complaints about the design of the rooms aside from the noise issue are: -Limited hangers and hanger racks to hang up your clothes. Additionally, the hangers are located right above the mini-bar so there's not a lot of height to hang clothes without them draping too far down. -Virtually no fridge space as they stock it with mini-bar items that you will get charged for. Some additional but possibly not as well-known free perks of being a guest include: -Free admission to the local Museum of Graffiti -Free access to the rooftop pool and bar -$15/day food at beverage credit at the hotel restaurant -Free bicycle rentals for you and your guest(s)

What a perfect hotel. Amazing staff. Great value. Facilities are flawless. Restaurant and bar downstairs and pool and bar at rooftop. Rooms are ample without being huge or having dead spaces. If anything I wished a working desk, but I can live without. Rooftop pool and bar are amazing. Not tiny and w 360 views of the city. Location is also amazing. In Wynwood w restaurants, bars, and art plenty in the area in a safe walking area. Also shopping mall within a nice walk or few minutes ride. Their staff is flawless, from check in to valet to restaurants and bar.

Fortune cookies left on the bed for the guest!

Exceptional Clean hotel. The room is very spacious, clean, modern look. Bathroom very clean nice, upgraded. They offer valet parking and help with the luggage. You can call the front desk in advance when you need your vehicle. ( that's nice not having to wait 15 minutes for your vehicle) They offered late check out that we took advantage of...until 2pm. Which gave us time in the morning to check out the pool area and explore the wynwood area. The hotel has a roof top pool that has plenty pool chairs and like 3-4 cabanas with flat tv screen. The pool area was well kept. It has an outdoor bar by the pool area. Towels are available for the guest. On one of the floors they had a pop up Jewlery store that will soon coming to the Miami area. On the same floor we saw a bar area that looked really cute. ( forgot the floor-maybe 3rd floor.) It was like 4pm when we in that area. The bar was closed at that time. So we could not check it out but it was super cute. I would like to check it out another time. Down stairs they had a pool table, table to sit around and the cutest photo both. ( like the ones you see in the movies!) They have a restaurant that offers some quick coffee and bites to go or a sit down meal. The restaurant has a little limited menu and we were in a mood for pasta so we opted for a glass of wine at night and Sunday morning coffee to go! Oh this hotel is in the heart of wynwood! We had salty donuts and many restaurants, museums ,night life near us. The Florida special grated free valet parking! ( barely see that in high end hotels/resorts) We were told about a van with call ( reservations) will pick u up for free and drop off at nearby spots. The hotel provided 2 entry to the graffiti museum for free. So that was another plus plus!!! The valet staff and front desk were very nice and helpful. I saw they have a schedule with events or things going on at the hotel. The hotel has many amenities to offer. So it was a great staycation for our event . I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend! Top notch! Wynwood Gem!

Clean and modern property. Check in was fast and smooth. Rooftop pool and bar was really nice. All in all a great stay in a cool area of Miami. You can walk to plenty of sights, bars, and restaurants. I will say this area gets loud and parties late into the night. Hotel provides ear plugs

Arlo Wynwood is a great hotel if you're looking to be close to Wynwood. The room is super simple but it's decorated very thoughtful with wireless chargers, a mini fridge and a nice bathroom. We lucked out with a higher floor and I think that helped a lot with the noise. But do know if you're staying on the weekend you will most definitely hear noise from all the music at different bars. The gym is super nice and there's a rooftop pool. They give you a $15 a day credit that you can use at the hotel restaurant on the first floor for lunch or dinner. Plus the cute photo ops an the rooftop bar with the cool colorful stairs! Only downside parking can be a real pain but if you park at the nearby garage by booking online you can get a better deal. Arlo valet is crazy expensive and they add another fee on top of the quoted price or even more if you have an SUV (cray). But that's Miami with parking, otherwise we really liked staying here!

Vibey lobby with good seating on the left. Places to do some work, wait to meet people, they even had a pool table. To the right was a well populated bar. Didn't get to try the food, but they had a decent drink selection. Nice design, but maybe could have benefited from an extra bar tender.

I've been hearing about this venue for quite some time, but never got the chance to check it out. I went for an Art basel kickoff brunch, eloquently titled basil brunch wear light bites, and a complementary welcome cocktail were given and live art was being painted. This is the perfect venue for that type of thing. The indoor outdoor bar is vast and has space for many people, there are multiple indoor rooms, as well as the outdoor patio lined with foliage and seating, making it an inviting space with dynamic elements. There are even games, giant Connect, four and giant Jenga to keep the guests entertained. The rooftop vibe gives a stunning view of the Wynwood skyline. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool but I know of many parties that take place there and can't wait to come back and check it out. Sorry I didn't save any photos, but trust me it's worth the visit!

My family was staying at the property for the week so I stopped in to visit. Grab some cocktails and check out the pool. The bartenders were friendly and made a great Aperol spritz. I've been to the property before to higher ground. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for people coming in town.

I paid for coffee included, and this didn't happen

The included breakfast has to be ordered from a menu, but it does not clearly state what is actually included. Additionally, it takes about 40 minutes to be delivered, and not all items are covered, leading to unexpected charges without prior notice. The restaurant service is not only terrible, it also takes a long time. Don't expect to have breakfast like in normal restaurants.

It was a nice hotel but had a $40 hidden "Urban Fee". Something like this should just be included in the price of the stay up front.

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. The cruise port ride was booked for 8am, so I beat the 9am bumper car cruise port traffic. The video I posted is short and quick, but a glimpse of the room

It turns out that the app was glitchy and we were put in a different room number. The lady behind the counter made adjustments and we were able to stay on the same floor as what I originally picked, but in a different room. The room had a king bed, a fridge, microwave, a TV, drawers, and a bathroom with a shower. It was very clean. We got two drink vouchers to redeem at the lobby/pool bar, which was a plus, to enjoy while we were at the pool. The hotel has a fitness center as well. The continental breakfast provided a selection of coffee and juices for the beverages. The food items consisted of a waffle bar, different types of pastries, and breakfast foods to choose from. They offered a little more than some of the other locations I have been at.

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

First, the good, it's an awesome location on the southern tip of Brickell Key. The pool was wonderful and gets mostly continuous sun exposure during the day. My balcony faced west so I had sun during the afternoon as well (perfect for a tan). Honestly, I never felt like I needed to leave the resort being a pool guy. The base price room was spacious and mostly clean with a separate shower and tub. The bad- the service wasn't great here. I felt like anytime I needed something I had to ask 3-4 times before staff would remember (including freebies that were part of the room rate). The one time I asked a concierge for assistance he was super brash telling me to go talk to the front desk. The property felt old and in need of a renovation (again it's being demolished so not surprising in that context). Also, a lot of the ads for the resort promote its beach which no longer exists- it's now a model home for the condos going in. The hotel is pricey and gratuity is auto-included at 20% for everything which would be fine if the service was better and they didn't ask for additional tip on top of it. I wish I stayed here 20+ years ago because it felt like in its hay day this was a swanky hotel. Today, it's tired, on its last months, and the staff really don't seem like 5-star talent (as a benefit to the doubt most people would be unmotivated if things were shutting down too). Part of me is excited to try the new hotel whenever it opens, part of me wonders if the poor service is just part of the brand. The gym was tacky- literally they just through equipment in 6ish guest rooms with the doors propped open. Kind of funny but not 5-star hotel caliber.

The beach area was nice, in the servers supporting the beach I felt did their best to accommodate all of the guests outside. If you're a frequent AMEX user, I would definitely recommend going through your AMEX as it really did just make a difference. The grounds were well kept the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly, we had an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend it for anybody coming to South Beach to come here, as it's centrally located and it's easily accessible to lots of other activities you may want to consider.

Our attendant was attentive but not hovering, kept the drinks coming, and food came out fast. Everything we ordered was solid -- perfect pool-day food and refreshing cocktails. There is a minimum spend requirement for the cabana, but it was super easy to hit between food and drinks. And considering you're paying for a dedicated space, service, and a prime poolside setup, it felt worth it. Overall, it was the perfect day to unwind and feel a little luxe. I'd definitely book the Ivy cabana again.

I was in Miami for a day and half and wanted to soak up some sun and enjoy myself being close to restaurants and the beach . I love this boutique styled hotel and the beautiful rooms that are so beautiful with the turquoise lighting ( my favorite color). I feel safe traveling solo here and never have had any issues. I love the pool and bar area and the decor of this hotel. They offer valet parking which I didn't need as I used car service from the brightline but have always trusted my trucks with their valet attendants. I've already booked another stay for September !

The elevators are a bit slow, the hotel was built in 1920. Its a big elevator. The bedroom is super nice. My partner is a globalist so we got a really nice room. I wish they had a little more amenities in the bathroom like make up remover, cotton and shower cap. If they did have it, I didn't see it. I do have to say, its loud at night. I couldn't really sleep. People were still out partying at 4am. If you don't mind loud then this place is good. The view of the main road was nice, I got to people watch. They also have beach service where they bring out the chairs and have service. We didn't have time since we had to board the Royal Caribbean ship. Check out was super easy. I would recommend this place.

The Brickell area is a vibe, walkable and full of restaurants and shops, which makes it a perfect pre- or post-cruise stay. The hotel's proximity to the cruise port was a huge plus. Check-in is self-service, but assistance is available if needed, which made the process easy and convenient. The king bed does take up most of the room, stretching from the window to the wall, so the room feels a bit compact--but it's thoughtfully designed. The sink is located in the main room across from the bathroom, and I actually found the setup pretty functional. The shelves around the sink were stocked with a washcloth, hand towel, hair dryer, and tissues, plus hand soap and lotion at the end of the counter. There was also enough counter space for toiletries. There's an open closet area and a nice touch of wall art, and the laminated wood flooring gave the room a clean, modern feel. One of my favorite features was the in-room iPad that controls everything--such a fun tech-forward touch. I also absolutely loved the decor throughout the hotel. The colors are vibrant, playful, and stylish without feeling overdone. The second-floor seating areas were spacious and inviting, and the rooftop/pool space was another highlight. There's also a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, which is a great spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, this hotel has a fun atmosphere, smart use of technology, and an unbeatable location. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for a quick stay before a cruise.

That said, the room itself was extremely small. It had all the essentials, but there wasn't much space to move around or unpack, so it felt a bit cramped, especially for a longer stay. If you're planning just a short visit or don't mind compact accommodations, it works, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay smoother despite the limited room size. Overall, I'd say M Citizen is a great choice for its location and vibe, but pack light and don't expect spacious quarters.
