This store is fantastic in every sense. The interior, the prices, the service...I cannot say enough good things. My look is a lot Debbie Phelps meets a hint of Shauna Sand, it's very confusing and very 2008. I often look in the mirror thinking I'm like 70% there if someone could just bippity boppity boo me...Enter Shishi. I am not a shopper; I walk into most stores, become overwhelmed by display or price, and bounce quick. I walked in to Shishi on a Tuesday evening after seeing this store online carrying a selection of cool stylish clothes AND concert tees??? I felt so seen! This vibe continued in person. Visiting a friend recently, I packed like a schmuck (for the weather and comfort). Needed some new digs for my NYC visit. We stumbled into Shishi. It was fabulous. Usually, I detest hyper-involved (aggressive?) sales people... But there was a lovely, passionate, knowledgeable petite blonde with a charming accent (may be the owner... she is featured on the website)... She was truly gifted. I tried on a dress that didn't quite work; she rushed me with a belt and a nip and tuck... it was adorable. I tried on another dress that didn't quite work; she rushed me and told me to go in the dressing room and put it on backwards (for reals... it's a "fix" for "busty girls")... and hot damn... It was adorable. I ended up leaving there in love with everything I bought, in love with her and her store... and when I got home... hubby loved my new purchases so much he encouraged me to shop there online. Everything was unique (but not weird) and flattering (my body is an hourglass on steroids... it can be hard to find things that fit well... my buddy who was with me has the opposite figure but shared in my positive experience)... I came to the store looking for some cute clothes, and I found a sweatshirt with skulls on the sleeves. It was adorable. I ended up purchasing the much smaller size than I normally would as it made for a really cute crop top sweater. I was told that they normally sold those in a kids size but only adults have shown interest in it for the crop top look. The employees were kind, and I can't wait to wear the sweater. Although the store is pretty pricy, the style, the unique items, and the quality make everything worth it. I hope to take a look at their pants in the near future. read more

They really understand clothes and fit, and can put you in something you wouldn't have picked for yourself but you are so glad they suggested it because it works. I love Shishi! I've moved away from NY, but every time I'm in town, I make the trek uptown to shop at Shishi. I love their selection. I've found several things there I adore, including the perfect work dress, the perfect beach dress, and, most recently, a magical sluggily-stylish jumpsuit. I also love that everything they have is unique; you won't end up accidentally twinning with someone. The experience is also amazing. It feels like shopping with your friends. The ambiance is divine, and I have met so many new friends there. The stylists r absolutely incredible especially the owner who seems to have a doctorate in tucking. I recently moved 44 blocks uptown, and after discovering stores like Pookie and Sebastian and Wink had shuttered, I went on Yelp to see what offerings close to my home were available. Shishi is an amazing discovery. Cathy, the owner, and Meridith the Girl Friday are just wonderful, kind, empathetic, funny, and stylish women! The clothing section is current, adorable, and affordable spanning from coats by BB Dakota, vests by Lovestitch, dresses by Veronica M to Alternative organic cotton tops and Junkfood band tees. The jewellery-- with designers like Malry Morletti-- often spotted at pricier stores like Free People, is gorgeous and sporting a lower price tag. They even carry footwear, including on-trend Seychelles 'Lucky Penny' and 'Sanctuary' boots, not to mention buttery but budget-friendly bags by Liebskind and belts by Ada Collection. The best thing about this store are definitely the women running it. Both are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, never-ever pushy, and honest about sizing, stock availability, and how their items look on you. I cannot recommend this boutique enough! read more

I love ShiShi it's one of the few great little boutiques left in the Upper West Side. The service is always personalized and they truly have your best interest in mind, Yael and her staff are passionate about what they do and are incredibly talented. I put on weight during the pandemic and could not fit into anything I owned, it was so nice to actually feel pretty and sexy after being styled there. I often get compliments when I wear items for there. I have taken many friends there and they always walk out feeling good themselves and their purchases. Yes! This place is super cute. At first when I walked in, I didn't think I would see anything. I was greeted by two lovely women, one of them being the owner. She has a brilliant and bright personality. I found a dress that I wanted to try - this beautiful long sleeved turquoise maxi-dress. She suggested I try a jumpsuit as well, which did look fabulous. I bought the dress, and will maybe go back and get the jumpsuit. Minutes after walking in, Kathy had an armful of options for me to try on - some things I would have never chosen....yet everything looked great! I randomly walked into Shishi & found a very charming, boutique shop. what caught my eye was a teal-blue, convertible, wrap dress in their window arrangement. I didn't walk out of the store with any items, but I will say, their service is incredibly sweet. I've never seen a store owner drop what they were doing (looked like inventory) to come over and say hello and answer questions I have about an item. This store is an Upper West Side GEM! Backstory - I had twins about 14 months ago and it has been hard for me to find clothes that fit right post-delivery. The ladies at Shishi always find flattering things for me to try on and they tell me the TRUTH. They don't just try and sell me any thing or put pressure on me to buy. I love going in there and the price point is fair. I've gotten some great tops that range in price from $40-$80. I got a super cute black jumpsuit that can be worn year round for $120. Kathy had me outfitted for every single day of my trip in about 45 minutes with dresses that I love and will wear again. Such a nice place, they charged my phone while I was in the dressing room.
