After reminding the receptionist we were waiting we were seated in the examination room waiting for an additional 1 hour without being seen by a doctor. My wife asked a nurse about the doctor and slow service the nurse told her " if you don't like the service here you can leave " in an insulting manner . We left and got my tetanus shot at a grocery store pharmacy without having to wait. Other patients with young children with fevers , etc also spent a long time to be seen. The front desk receptionist(older African American lady with glasses)needs to have a better understanding of how she speaks and the tone of her words. She's not someone that I would prefer to deal with when it comes to making appointments or just for general help. She won't even apologize for the mistakes she made have made and or show some sort of empathy. She thinks it's ok just to have mental lapses..I usually have a greater respect and understanding for older people no matter what color. But when you feel like your above or better than, I will put you in place respectfully. In my opinion she needs either training and or possibly another assignment that keeps her from dealing with patients who legitimately need help.

Luckily, I am in an area where they are a little more abundant and don't have to settle. All of my visits here have had extreme wait times even though we have appointments. I never understood why there is a long wait period and we may only see the doctor for 5-10 minutes. My appointment was at 12:15. I arrived around 11:55 and was brought to the back around 12:45 and left after 1PM. I was with Dr. Blake for all 7-8 minutes where she continuously cut me off while I was sharing concerns. She even began talking to me as if I were a child. The only pleasant part about this visit was the young lady who drew blood. She was very personable and kind and almost made me feel better about the blatant disrespect from Dr. Blake.
