Fantastic ice cream with a large variety of flavors! We stopped by Shock for dessert and absolutely did not regret our decision. They have sooo many different ice cream flavors that it's beyond difficult to choose! Luckily you can get more than one flavor even in their smallest size. Cute entry to the shop with a hopscotch as you walk to the door. Customer service was lacking, young girls behind the counter that never smiled. Scoops were very small and ice cream was a bit icy (had s'mores). Love that they had a lifesize Brunson cutout to represent the Knicks win! What a charming little ice cream shop hiding behind an alleyway that is lit up at night in such a cute way. Follow the path to some truly delectable ice cream. My current favorites here are the Cappuccino Crunch and the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chunk. I enjoyed them so much that I'm not sure I can change on my next visit. I got the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with a waffle cone. I thought it was very tasty. Very delicious. Very creamy. I saved every crunch and bite and I really like the cookie dough. It was soft and yummy. My friend just got the chocolate mousse tracks. It was super chocolatey and he loves peanut butter cups, and there was tons of those in it. it was a very loaded chocolate delight. My friend Logan got Graham Central Station and s'mores combined in a cup. He said it's one of the greatest flavors he's ever had the marshmallow and chocolate was such high-quality. My friend Kyle got the little blue panda he said it was very good, it tasted like a sugar cookie version of cookies and cream, more on the sweet side. My friend Parker got the cappuccino crunch. He said it was a good contrast between to creamy ice cream and the crunch. Overall, everybody seemed to enjoy their ice cream. This is a really nice spot. I've been here twice now. It was like 90 degrees out and full humidity, so I needed to find some ice cream in this town, STAT. I saw a bunch of kids running around with cones and followed the path around the corner from Shock's retail store to find their ice cream shop nestled around the back. This is a super cute set up, and also a genius business plan. Put a store with kids clothes in the front, get them to behave with the promise of ice cream afterward in the back. Win-win. I walked in and was immediately served. I opted for a coffee flavored ice cream that had chocolate chunks or something like that in it and it was delicious. Prices are steep because hey, it's the Hamptons, but if you're in Westhampton and need an ice cream cone this one will make you pretty happy. read more

Happy to see vegan/non-dairy flavors, unhappy that they basically lacked any flavor and tasted almost like they were made with water instead of non-dairy milk. Yesterday I brought an old friend to the shock icecream, she was looking for a flavor they use to sell back in the days of 2020. Looking around, we realized the flavor wasn't there. Anger filled my old pal mia Diana, as she was about to cause ruckus in the shock ice cream the kind worker asked if we were looking for a flavor, we answered yes and she notified us she would check in the back. BABOOM, peppermint stick is to be found! My buddy Mia Diana was ecstatic, face lit up like no other. I ordered my usual, playdoh, and as always loved the amount of sugar cookie chunks. A literal hidden gem this place has such an amazing feel and vibe. I love seeing people get startled by OBAMA on the bench. LOL. and the servers are the most competent teenagers I've been served by. Usually getting served by teens means waiting for them to process but they are so fast. I walked in at around noon because it's my only time off for the day and when I walked in the supposed owner was mopping the floor and she looked at me irritated that I was in there. There was also a mom with her 2 sons in there and the owner was talking to the girl working behind the counter talking so loudly saying how she's going to lock the store up after I leave. This girl was still willing to serve me and the mom was walking on the wet floor and this woman told her to stand on one side of the room. all she wanted was another 4 quarters for her son to play the game that was in the store and when she handed the owner the money she gave her employee a look of "seriously?!" sort of situation. after this happened the girl asked me what I wanted and I got turned off so fast I apologized to her and left. I've never been so turned off by a place EVER. I feel bad for this poor employee working there. all I wanted was to try their cropped (croissant waffle) and now I'm annoyed that I even looked up this place at all. read more

A good ice cream store that edges out Haagen Das for arguably the best ice cream shop on Mainstreet. It has the most flavors as well as it he most options of other frozen treats as well. It does not have a spot as good as the others but it does have more space with spots where you can sit down and eat your ice cream close by. It has more personality than the other ice cream stores around and the more options are really nice to have. The only thing that's keeping it back from 4 stars is the price but it is on main street at least. read more

The woman who runs this place is lovely! We showed up at 11.55 PM and she served us! How nice? After asking what company ice cream she served she told me Hershey's so I immediately ordered chocolate ice cream. A large heaping scoop was promptly provided. So happy to be in the Hamptons and the stores staying open later in the summer. BTW is O/U dairy obviously. So great for the community! 5 star for kindness and brand quality. read more

We walked into this place to check it out. Long lines and very dirty inside. My son had peanut allergies and the same scooper is used for all of the flavors. We walked out. If you or your child suffer from food allergies, or you just want clean ice cream, his is not the place to go. The lady/employee told us there are peanuts all over and indicated it wasn't a good idea. While I appreciate that, my son was disappointed. 1 out of 11 kids have food allergies! This is probably my favorite ice cream place. The staff was great about assisting my family with our nut allergie. We were told some ice cream has nuts and each one we had a question about they checked the ingredients. They said they best recommend the soft serve since they said there has never been nuts in the machine, but they ended up washing the scooper and gave us separate toppings not on display. The ice cream flavors are creative and decent but the portions leave much to be desired. We ordered four small cups to go, three of which were one flavor and one small cup had two flavors. I wish I had taken a photo. I have never seen a smaller ice cream portion anywhere and I like ice cream shops! I was so embarrassed when I brought them home to my family. The single flavor smalls were twice the size of the small cup with two flavors. The person with the two flavors (me) finished it in three bites. It was the size of a golf ball! You could have put all four small servings into HALF a pint of Ben and Jerry's. And it cost $16! Skip the "hamptons" pricing and go down the road to Alpha 1 or Carvel. read more

I came through on my way home from Montauk with a few friends. It was a Saturday night so I would like to mention that parking was a bit scarce. We eventually found a spot and upon walking up to the shop (it was difficult to locate) at first the GPS took us to an empty store front and we spotted small signs telling us to go down the road and a small alley. We eventually get there; totally fine. We proceed to order and none of the prices were listed (which was kind of annoying since it was pretty pricey). I felt sorry for the people working because it was someone's first night so they had little knowledge to the questions we were asking and she was unable to make a lot of our orders. I understand how hard it must have been for her since I was once in her position many years ago, I think it was poor planning on the management side to have someone's first day be on a Saturday night. It took about 45 minutes to complete our order for 4 people. Kind of a LONG time. I would like to add that the shake I got was absolutely great and my friend got the cotton candy cone with the ice cream in the middle (which was also amazing) the one downfall was the ice cream with the cotton candy was made properly because it promptly fell over on the side. read more
