Sadly, the Merle Norman store there closed at the end of last year, so I have to go to downtown Athens to get my MN fix. This is my favorite super Target in HSV., their merch is more upscale and the store has maintained its cleanliness despite its age. I love HH at Mezza Luna and their oysters. Several nice patios for dining when the weather is nice. Plus, this part of "the valley" is so beautiful with The Ledges right across the street.

While they assembled her order, we wandered through the various rooms to look at the other things they had to offer. Great use of space, including hanging items in closets. Seasonal items including things for the upcoming holiday (Easter). Great prices can be found throughout the store and even better prices on the clearance items. However I opted for pick up at the store for the next item and learned that they will let you try it on and exchange it right then if it doesn't fit. That was a huge bonus - and trust me, you WILL find some things (like, 5 or 10 or so) you like in that store! If you are on Facebook I highly recommend liking their page because things they post online often sell out quickly. The physical store is a converted house and I think they have done a great job turning into their store and showroom. It's not awkward like some house-stores can be, and they use the closets (all the doors are removed) to highlight outfits or even hang more clothes for sale in. Love that idea! Prices are usually reasonable for boutique, and they do have sales. My last trip I got 25% off a dress for the pre-Easter sale. and they also had a $10 rack. The young girl that helped us informed us that she was new and kept pushing some shoes that she was wearing that were lined with fur, she kept mentioning how she just posted them on social media, etc. etc. I said I'm sorry we are here specifically for Birkenstocks and maybe to look at some of the ON brand shoes When my daughter picked up a para Bourke in stocks, I said to her how much do these cost? She said oh probably about 160 I said well let's not guess let's find out what they cost while I was waiting. I started to look at other shoes and was very interested in two or three other pairs for myself Along the walls. I noticed that not one pair of shoes in this entire store with the exception of clearance, Shoes had any price tags whatsoever and given the aforementioned work when I asked how much another pair was, I did not have the energy nor the desire to chase down prices on every pair I wanted to look at, I did mention this to one of the other girls and she said the owner for us for putting prices on the shoes because we just have such a high turnover in our shoes. We couldn't possibly keep track of the prices which is bullshit. My daughter ended up finding a pair of Birkenstocks. She liked. I asked the girl if she was going to fit them as far as tightening the buckles so that she could break them properly and she looked at me like I was speaking. Greek never bought a pair of Birkenstocks, where they didn't gladly help you adjust them so they would be broken in properly. Last week I fell down the rabbit hole on their website and ordered 5-6 items on a whim. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. I buy plenty of secondhand clothing, so I figured I'd get a few decent pieces and call it a win. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and every single item looked far better than expected! Most of my purchases were listed as being in "good" condition, but I would personally call them all "like new" or even "new." Everything arrived spotlessly clean, professionally processed, and completely odor-free something every secondhand shopper knows is worth celebrating. They carry a surprising number of luxury brands, and many items still have original tags attached. It felt a little like opening a treasure chest and realizing the treasure is actually there. Needless to say, I'll be back. My one tip: keep an eye out for coupons. Finding a bargain on top of an already good deal is half the fun!
