Hands down the best Shoe repair place I've ever been. I have a 20 year old pair of Mezlan shoes I bought at Nordstrom's, and these guys have been keeping them fresh for years. As a Professional Realtor, I walk for three hours everyday...door knocking to find business. My shoes take a beating. After bringing them to a well respected / advised shoe repair place in Burbank, He took one look at my shoes and told me, "I cannot do these." So, back to Shoe Express. Vardan takes one look at my shoes, says no problem. I ask him if he can keep the natural patina of the leather peeking through the polish, instead of polishing the leather with so much that it looks all monotone, brown. He said, I understand, no problem. He did new Italian soles. New heels. Repaired heavily scuffed toe and other sections of my shoes. Polished perfectly and replaced the laces for free. My 20 year old shoes are like new again and more comfortable than ever. Thanks guys. You always blow me away.

I recently visited both Road Runner and Fleet Feet while searching for new walking shoes, and the…read moredifference was striking. Fleet Feet was, quite literally, feet ahead of the competition. At Road Runner, a foot scan gave me useful insight into my foot structure and what to consider in a shoe. The technology was impressive, but the experience was less so: the store seemed understaffed, trying each shoe often meant another 5-10 minute wait, and when another associate stepped in, I had to repeat what I had already gone through. More importantly, when I asked to try a shoe outside the scan's recommendation, I was discouraged because it contradicted what the technology suggested and was told not to try it on. Data can inform a decision, but footwear is ultimately experienced by a person, not an algorithm. A scan should guide curiosity and judgment, not replace them. I eventually tried the Brooks Ghost 18, but Road Runner did not have the colorway I wanted, so I bought them elsewhere. After my first walk, they began cutting into my ankles, and my search started again. Then I went to Fleet Feet. From the beginning, John made the experience entirely different. He greeted me warmly, did a new foot scan, explained what the results meant, and, most importantly, listened. He combined the data with his own expertise and my actual feedback rather than treating the scan as an answer. And finding the right shoe was not easy. Because of the anatomy of my feet, I ended up trying nearly 15 different pairs. Through every one, John's patience never wavered. When a shoe caused discomfort, he listened, reassessed, and brought out another option. He never rushed me, never made me feel like I was taking up too much of his time, and never acted as though he simply wanted me to settle on something so he could make a sale. What made the experience exceptional was that John seemed just as invested in finding the right shoe as I was. There is a profound difference between helping someone buy something and genuinely helping them solve a problem. John understands that difference. Eventually, I found the ASICS Novablast 6, which felt like the best fit for my needs. Unfortunately, Fleet Feet could not get my preferred colorway in time for an upcoming trip, so I ultimately left without buying a pair that day. And that may be the strongest testament to John's character and customer service. After investing all that time in helping me, John never pressured me to buy another color or settle for another shoe just to make a sale. He cared about getting me the right shoe, not simply getting me to buy a shoe. That kind of service is rare. I have met plenty of people who are knowledgeable, and plenty who are friendly. It is much rarer to find someone who combines expertise, patience, attentiveness, and genuine care for the customer's outcome the way John did. Fleet Feet, you have an exceptional employee in John. A foot scan can provide data and a system can generate recommendations, but neither can replace someone who listens carefully, applies expertise, adapts when the obvious answer is not working, and stays committed until the customer has a real solution. John turned what had become an incredibly frustrating search into one of the best retail experiences I've had in a long time. Thank you, John. Your patience, expertise, and genuine commitment to helping me find the right fit did not go unnoticed. Fleet Feet is lucky to have you.

After using this choose, I found out that I had a problem with my heels. They are swollen and the pimples because of those shoes. I try to take them back to the Store a week ago and I spoke with Rocio Hernandez. I explained to her the problem with the pair of shoes I have. She told me you cannot return them because simply I wore them. Well, how I would find out if I have a problem if I don't wear the. I paid over $80 each. Rocio and another sales lady was very rude today. I was told that the pair of shoes I have they are not for exercising, which, this was not what I have been told by Ernesto when I bought them. I simply wanted to exchange them to another pair of shoes to use them to exercise not to walk like this too. She doesn't know how to treat a client and I'm reporting this Store. My . When she first asked if I needed help, I told her I didn't because I was just browsing; later, when I decided on a pair of sneakers and asked for assistance, she snapped, "That's why I asked if you needed help earlier," looking completely sour and bitter. Honestly, she is a terrible employee. I do not recommend this store--the customer service is very poor. 0/10. My husband also asked her about a shoe size for my baby, and she was incredibly rude--she didn't even come over or anything; she just said, "Only the sizes you see there," and was very arrogant about it. The service was terrible. I had already heard bad reviews about that store, but I went because it was nearby; I will never visit that place again. You go there to make a purchase with your own money, not to beg them for service only to have them come over with attitude; if they don't like their job, they should just quit! I am never coming back to this store, and I don't recommend going there.

They had mentioned that the store on Sepulveda Blvd had them in. It was a 10 minute drive so decided to take my chances and check the drop out. While parking, I saw a line of about 10 people in front, so decided to get in line. While in line I can hear these guys talking out loud saying that they're just going for the biggest size. This is a highly sought after sneaker so didn't think the store representatives would just let someone ask for the biggest size. Boy was I wrong. I get it, the shops just want to sell the shoes and make their money, but each shop should have some rules for shoes that are highly sought after. Like not let people just ask for the biggest size. Have them write down or ask for 2-3 sizes, if they don't have the sizes, then they can move to the side and wait until the whole line is done before letting them just grab whatever pair they want. Also the guy in front of me got my size so I got super salty because he was one of the guys saying he's just asking for the biggest size. One of the representatives had stated that they had just sold the last pair of my size, so that really annoyed the crap out of me. These retail shops know what shoes are really sought after and which ones will probably sit for a while. I did like that they only allowed each customer one pair to purchase, either one men's or one GS pair. Not sure if someone can get in line once they make their first purchase but heck at least they had that rule. Unlike other shops that let people grab two to three pairs all at once. People will always show up and buy these type of sought after sneakers. I surely hope they read this review and make some changes for certain sneaker drops.
