I took a last minute trip to Vegas, who really plans trips to Vegas right? I just bought a pair of Christian Louboutin heels the night before and urgently needed them to add a red rubber sole so I wouldn't slip and to prevent damage. I called the shoe lab and they told me to bring the shoe in and they could have it done while I wait. At $55, it was pricier than what I pay at home but I was very happy with the fast service and the rubber seemed a little thicker than the place I go to which means it will last longer. I also brought in a patent leather shoe that was scuffed and he said it could be repaired like new in a day. I didn't have time for that. I met the owner who was very friendly. He let me know I could ship anything in for repairs. I saw on their website they even fix heels your dog has chewed. I wish I knew that before I threw out several pair. They repair purses, belts, and furniture also. Their website gives examples of everything they fix. In spite of the higher prices I will use them again next time I'm in Vegas or next time my puppy decides my favorite shoes are tasty. Oh, due to construction this place was a little hard to find using mapquest. Once you find it you will have to enter through the rear entrance so it's best to park back there. Hi Yelpers... Need that Luis Vuitton bag repaired? Well, this is where the strip Luis V Stores will send your bag for repair. The art of repairing a handbag back to when it was new is a craft like no other... The only difference in dealing with these folks direct is the difference of about $250 less per repair. Shame on Luis V for not treating their loyal customers right and trying to make significant money on a repair. This place actually picks the bags up from those stores, repairs bag and takes the repaired bag back to the store... I was told a 24 inch zipper would cost me $350 at Luis V... Shoe Lab charged me $120 and cleaned and polished the bag... This place is not far from the strip and worth the cost of a taxi! They do outstanding work!!! Secret is out Luis Vuitton!!! Try to explain this to the craftsman at Shoe Lab... Pretty creepy of you folks!! read more

Great service. I have a Boyt carry-on and the handle broke during my last plane trip. The Shoe Lab handled the warranty claim and repair...I didn't have to do anything for the warranty claim! The assistance from the young man at the counter was very impressive; he was courteous and answered my questions patiently. It only took about a week for completion. Today was my first encounter with this company it was awesome ! The owner & staff are professional , courteous , & very very customer oriented! I called to have some chairs repaired today & today the chairs were picked up & will be returned by Monday ! I had been trying to get the bottom of my chairs replaced with new sliders for over the past week! To no avail with the company I purchased them from but jerry at shoe lab was great! He made it happen in the same day!! Cheril the receptionist was very sweet as well as Charlie the delivery man was very professional! If only all companies functioned as well!! I bought a suitcase which split under warranty. Took it here and the young girl was so helpful she said it would be dropped off at our hotel free of charge. However the driver would not give me the suitcase till I paid him. I paid and then rung the store. Received an apology and was told the money would be returned. No money rang again the male who answered told me he would sort it out. Next day I rang again and was told he had just rung my hotel desk and the money was there as promised. Still no money how dishonest can people be. read more

We had a Lazy Boy six piece sectional leather couch cleaned and restored by Shoe Lab. The couch had been cleaned in the home 3-4 years ago by another company and we had been very disappointd with the results. Shoe Lab picked the couch up, cleaned and resored it at their business and we were excited with the results. It looked as if it had come off the showroom floor and since the money we had invested with Lazy Boy was considerable, their cost was more than worthwhile. In fact, our previous cleaning cost would have gone a long way to paying Shoe Lab's cost. We were also pleased with the pickup and delivery. Even Lazy Boy always had problem' s taking the couch a part and putting it back together. These persons were professional and had no problems. I travel a lot. A LOT. And I have a favorite Hartmann wings rollaboard bag that has been my trusty travel buddy for about 8 years. But through the years the wheels bent in and got really noisy, I lost several of the zipper pulls, the handle frame got bent. You know the drill. My husband suggested we send it to Hartmann because of their lifetime warranty. And I said, "Really? Who lives up to a so-called lifetime warranty when I can't remember exactly when I bought it and don't have the receipt?" He said he'd try anyway. And am I glad he did! Hartmann sent him to Shoe Lab and Tina was fantastic! She said up front that it would be a "project" and that communicating back and forth with Hartmann would take some time, so she didn't mislead us or get our expectations up. But she was super helpful and pleasant and seemed to really want to help. (When do you get that in a customer service exchange these days?) The bottom line is that in less than a month I have a bag that looks like new! My travel buddy is back. No squeaky wheels, no bent frame, new zipper pulls - even fabric tears were gone. I can't thank Tina and Shoe Lab enough for going to bat for us with Hartmann and for exceeding our expectations! read more
