Boston Cleaners advertises leather and handbag repair services, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I brought in a purse with fraying handles and asked if they could repair it. They assured me they could. After waiting about a month, I picked it up today and was honestly shocked at the result. Instead of repairing the strap with appropriate leather or a comparable material, they replaced it with a thin plastic/vinyl material that feels like the quality of a grocery store bag. It looks cheap, feels flimsy, and completely ruined the overall look and integrity of the purse. This cost $70. I had no problem paying that amount for a proper, professional repair--but this was neither professional nor acceptable. I brought the issue to their attention immediately, and their response was essentially, "sorry, that's the best we could do." No effort was made to fix the problem or offer a solution. If you care about your leather goods, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for repairs. This was a waste of both time and money. read more

I've used this place twice now and on the second time I went to pick up my dry cleaning and my pants were missing. We finally found them and they were not dry cleaned. The shirts were not pressed with lines in the sleeve like I asked. To top it all off when I originally showed up during business hours the store was closed and locked with a sign that said "out for lunch." I moved and bought a house in late 2017. Past 3+ years, this was my only cleaners we would use. My wife and I had numerous new jeans, slacks tailored by the nice lady. We would tip. Pandemic hit in 2020 and we stopped going out mid February (weeks before anyone else because I read news over seas). Fast forward to late February 2021. I bring over seven shirts (four long sleeve dress and three Tommy Bahama), open the door and walk in. The 20 something employee looks up from her cell phone, looks disappointed (like I interrupted her) places her cell down, slowly puts a face mask on, walks slowly from behind a table to the counter where I'm standing (I have a mask on). Employee says, "What's you number." I provide the number. Since she's a new employee I don't know, I ask to confirm no star hon my account. She confirms. I am handed a receipt. I leave. A week later I enter the store (with my mask on). See the first reaction and how she acted from when I dropped my clothes off. Same behavior and no mask. I take the clothes home. Since we were selling the house, four couples, our neighbors had different dinner nights (four) all separate because they are late 70's to early 80's in age. Great neighbors and friends. Why am I saying this, because you need to dress nice. I tried on one shirt and ALL shirts had starch in them including the Tommy Bahama shirts. Next day I walked in with my shirts (same behavior by the employee and no mask). I pointed out the shirts had starch and kindly asked them to correct. She quickly told me they don't put starch in silk shirts. I pointed and ask d her to touch them. She then acknowledged they were starched. The employee said they would call the manager. We both just looked at each other for a few seconds....so I asked when. She said later. I said how about calling now. One woman customer standing behind me who just entered). Employee called and said the owner wasn't available. I left. I called another location and that employee was VERY cooperative and offered the number of the plant in North Las Vegas. I called the plant and spoke with a manager. The manager said she would meet me in front of the cleaners where I had them "cleaned," at about 1pm. I drove over and waited...waited. I then get a text or call...telling they would be late. Let's try for 3pm. Hmmm...I thought, I'm being played. 3pm, I return and wait. At about 3:20 telling she won't make it today. She text that I would be refunded. I was NEVER refunded. When I filed the credit card dispute, I was told that an employee told the credit card only three shirts were affected. No refund to this date. OH....when I initially called, without any provocation, early in the conversation the manager said, "Please don't post anything on social media." Her extended reasons was business wasn't doing well. All of the prior employees do not work at this used to be great cleaners since the pandemic. Try other cleaners because this one is as unprofessional as most of the customer service is in Vegas. read more

Well, I tried to just let this situation fade away because I was so upset with this establishment, I just never wanted to deal with them again, but because they had to collect funds for the worse dry cleaning service ever performed, here we go. To start off, they lost my items. I had to call not once, not twice, but 3 times to even get someone to call me back about my items, and when they finally did get them tracked down and returned, both items that I gave to them for cleaning, were ruined. Completely Ruined. They had only collected funds for one item (their fault, not mine), and I was prepared to just let it go at that point and call it even, even though I should have been much more upset and angry about their shoddy service, but as I said, I just wanted the entire situation to go away. Well, they kept sending the invoice for the remaining item as if they really did a great job. I wanted to contact them directly by email with pictures, but they do not have one, so here we are. I tried to give this company a chance, and entrusted them with two valuable items. They ruined both, and now I truly believe they do not know what they are doing, and are more interested in collecting funds, than performing a valuable service. Unfortunately, I should've listened to the negative reviews here about this business being argumentative and unable to take accountability. I was leaving town on Wednesday at 2pm for a wedding and took my suit in for dry cleaning on Monday. The receptionist told me the suit would be ready by Wednesday after 3pm, so I asked to expedite to Tuesday 3pm so I could pick it up any time before my trip. I swung by the dry cleaners at 2pm on Wednesday, and to my surprise, they were closed. It wasn't a holiday, the hours on their website, Google, and Yelp all indicated they should've been open, and there was no sign indicating why they were closed and when they would be back. I left an email and multiple phone calls (saw some other annoyed customers doing the same) but gave up after 20 minutes. I had to buy a new suit for the wedding over a botched $30 service, which was very frustrating. When I showed up the next week, the best the new receptionist could do was take off the expedited fee and she had no knowledge of why the office was closed the previous week. I received a text message after from management saying, 'Your items were actually back at the store 9am on Tuesday.' It's great you were able to get my clothes to your store on time, but it doesn't do me a lot of good if you close randomly and I can't pick them up. read more

I never write reviews but today I had to. Do not use this place. Very poor customer service with people that have no idea about the job they hired for. Besides being expensive they don't admit their mistakes or listen to customers requests and of course will blame you, never apologize and have zero accountability. They have no shame lying to you and don't care. I had to go back and forth 3 times and still did not get the service I payed for and to top that off, they had the audacity to charge me for cleaning they did not do.I am sure that the owner is not aware or probably does not care, since they hire everyone with zero customer service experience. I requested a rush service for my 2 suit coats. i was charged an extra $10 for the rush services, promised the item would be ready 5 pm the next day. i received a text the next day informing me my items would not be ready. i was notified my order was ready the day after it was supposed to be ready. Store manager refused to removed the rush fee. Lied claiming order was ready even after I told them about their notice it was not. 1st and last time customer. I will not patronize any establishment that does not deliver as promised and refuses to remove fees for services not performed. Unethical and liars. read more

Terrible terrible terrible customer service. Brought my Uggs to be cleaned her as I usually do every year. This time it was the worse experience ever. They took over a month and half to clean my Uggs. They were mysteriously never ready. Whenever I called they would say next week they should be done. They said that for 6 weeks. When they were ready they were dirty looked worse then before. I could of did a better job cleaning them w soap and water. I had to throw them out after. Poor management not properly trained staff. Spoke w a really unprofessional manager that kept arguing with me about where my shoes were and how I refused to pay for my shoes. When I never refused I never was told how much my shoes were no one ever knew were they were or why they weren't ready. Just charging 75$ to clean Uggs is expensive enough but on top Of it they were still dirty and looked terrible now. They were one of my favorite pairs and now they are in the trash. Manager was very rude did not want to give me a discount because she kept saying I refused to pay she wind up charging me like 55$ but the shoes were trash. I never write reviews, let alone negative ones. But the prices at this dry cleaner are simply outrageous. Most places charge $6 to dry clean a women's blouse. When I dropped off my clothes here, I was told that it would be $9 for a blouse, minus a 15% new customer discount. I had them do the dry cleaning even though I thought this price was way too high because I don't have time to go somewhere else and I just wanted to get it done. I really wish I had taken my clothes somewhere else. When I picked them up, I found that I had been charged $14 FOURTEEN dollars per blouse. Apparently they upcharge for different fabrics. Totally insane. I don't know how this place is even in business. Don't go here unless you want to get ripped off. $108 for 8 items and that includes a "discount." read more

(2) sweaters all crammed in single shirt cover. 95.00 and packaging is awful. One set bag was torn, other crammed in, will tear apart minute you take one out of package. Really cheap. Eh. They clean just fine, but the prices are not awesome. The location is prime though, so if you live in the area, it probably makes more sense to use this cleaner than to drive somewhere further away. Go somewhere else! I don't know if they are under new management or if there are new owners but the Summerlin location does not care about their customers anymore. LaMar told me my "loyalty" discount was going to be honored and the comforter would be returned in the zipper bag. When I went to pick it up, LaMar charged me full price and it came back in a cheap plastic garbage bag. Exactly what I didn't want. He told me I would have a credit back on my card in 48hrs. I asked him to have the manager call me. She never did and there was no credit. When I called to speak to the manager, she told me LaMar isn't authorized to give credits, he came from the plant, and there must of been a miscommunication. Clearly there was no miscommunication. LaMar told me what I wanted to hear so I wouldn't go somewhere else. Guess what? After this experience, I will be going somewhere else. read more

Dry cleaning is good and reasonable. Cassandra is a doll. Take my advice, never get your alterations done here. It is overpriced and the work is horrible. Update: The manager gave me $40 off the initial alterations. I ended up going back to get the alterations fixed to my liking. The seamstress was nice about my dissatisfaction and they gave me an additional $25 credit for the inconvenience and miscommunication. I would say I am pretty satisfied now. read more

HORRIBLE with a capitol H. Went there to have a cover bag (which holds a portable chair) stitched up. The tear in bag was only about 1 and 1/2 inches long but, didn't want bag to tear further. It took a week to get done and then, it wasn't there at store when said it'd be there. It cost $10.00 for a 1 & 1/2 inch tear and as soon as I opened the bag the sewing became all undone. I like the convenience of this location which is why I continue to go back. Yes, it's a little pricey (especially compared to Eldorado cleaners) but you get a discount if you bring your clothes in their blue Boston Cleaners bag. I like that I don't need my ticket to pick up the clothes because everything is in the computer system by phone number. And I like that you don't pay for it until you pick it up. (Unlike Eldorado which makes you pay first.) The alterations lady is good. She's hemmed a few formal dresses for me that were very delicate material and she did a great job! read more

Dropped a uniform off for one day dry cleaning. Was told it would be ready for pickup the next day after 5pm. The bottom of the receipt also said, "Ready after 5pm". When I showed up at 4:56pm I was told it wouldn't be ready for pickup until after 5:30pm. I asked why I was told 5pm and why the receipt said pickup after 5pm and the only response I received was "it's a mistake". The only mistake was using this dry cleaner. Now that I know they don't deliver on their promised time and that they ship all garments off site, I will never use this place again. Beware! read more

their prices may be higher than some asian cleaners but their quality of service is excellent. it really shows they take care of their customers clothing. i have never had my shirts packed so nicely when i pick them up at other cleaners. and looking over their work i found no flaws. you get what you pay for here. and i will continue to be their customer :) read more
