The store manager, Franklin, was super helpful. He gave me multiple recommendations and would not let me leave without buying something! They didn't have my size in some black and white 270's but he brought out the all black ones, white and red, and the beige and black. It started when I entered the department where the salesperson greeted but the people behind me(maybe didn't see me, its okay), So i started to check couple of shoes where another salesperson keep passing by next to me never asked if i needed any help.. (Maybe busy with another costumer, its okay).., Then, I decided what I want so i called another salesperson who directly looked at me when i ask for a size but walked away never came back.. You can call me and my hubby "sneaker head", and when it comes to shoes, Shoe palace is the place where we can find hype shoes. We love going to this location since we love how we were treated the first time that we went there. Great customer service and also they will tell you about some merchandise that are on sale, I mean good buys. Their manager is very nice and so as the rest of the employees. While we were there, employees asked us if we need size for our shoes. They give us time to browse around before they ask if we need anything. I came in today with my family to buy shoes for my younger brothers. No one greeted us which I didn't mind. Once my younger found a shoe he wanted he went over to an employee who was talking on the phone. She was pretty nice and said we have to go to the kids section to get the size he wanted. We walked over there and we were completely ignored I waited a few minutes thinking maybe they were busy. After a while I said excuse me can I get these in ,whatever size I asked for, she kinda rude about it. Once I went to pay the girl who got one of the shoes I was going to buy and another girl were at the cashier. They just stared at each like you gonna help her. I visited this location today with my bf, kind of just browsing around and when he found a pair of shoes that he liked, he asked if I could find someone to get him his size. I stayed seated for a minute and when I saw one of the female employees make eye contact with me, mind you she wasn't doing anything, she was just standing there maybe 5 feet away with her hands before her back, I said "excuse me", she looked straight at me, made eye contact, and then looked away and didn't even bother to come over and offer assistance. But ok, whatever. I stoop up and walked around looking for someone else, literally 3 other employees walked right by, while I had one shoe in my hand and didn't ask if I needed or if I was already being helped. I went into shoe Palace today for the first time. I came across a fanny pack my child would need for a trip. Tag said $4.99. Great price, right? I went to the register and Vinia scanned it and said wait a minute... went to display, grabbed another one. Ripped off the $4.99 tag and proceed to tell me my total was $17.33. I stated the tag said $4.99. She said it was marked wrong. I didn't argue paid the total. I did notice that she did give me a 20% discount but never addressed that with me or even have an apologetic attitude. Most places would honor the price and check inventory and not make the customer feel as though the were wronged. read more

I work in an environment which safety is #1 so I tend to pay attention to safety when outside of work also. I was shopping obviously for some shoes, when I find an area on the floor with water and immediately thought someone can slip and get seriously hurt. I went up to the counter where two employees were talking and pointed out that there's water on the floor and someone could slip on it and that they should wipe it up. One of the employees replied and said we'll clean it up and turned back to the other employee and kept talking making the spill not a priority. I am Ms. G, I never went in Shoe Palace because we they first opened up I did not like their RETURN POLICY, no cash back if you paid cash. Now I see it has changed. Walked in and was greeted by a dude holding a reach pole. Ok cool. The store was clean. The two young women working the floor were incredibly nice. Then I asked a question. Uh oh. See, it's a bit hard to tell the women's from kids sizes so I asked the gentleman employee for help. He was no help at all. He brushed me off non-nonchalantly so much so that the young lady was embarrassed and ushered him to check in the back which he did with much disdain. She seemed frustrated with him and I felt bad that for the girl. I will gladly go back because their product selection is great, the store is appealing and the prices are great. Started to look around and they told me to go to kids foot locker to get measured because I guess they didn't have a kids foot measurer? I don't understand how you could give a BAD review about this store, I am always at the mall, and everytime I go buy some shoe, I go around to every store to find the cheapest prices, and they are always the cheapest! NEVER FAILS! I also love the environment of the store, the music, and the employees (even though at times they can be slow). Even though I love this store, the environment is more urban and hip, so some older people might not like the store much. But overall, this is a great shoe store! read more

This Shoe Palace in the Solano Mall is a joke the kids working there we're not informed that this particular shoe was not for sale for a couple weeks the managers failed to inform these employees that the shoe is not available to the public but they have a display out and when I asked for the size they brought the size out to me size 13 I tried it on I liked it and I decided to buy it for $160 plus tax I went and put it on the counter as the guy asked if I wanted them I said yes they were on the counter..then, another employee.. came swooping by snatch the shoe and took it in the back and I asked the guy that was helping me does he know my size is he going to grab the other shoe? And the employee that was helping me says I don't know I'll go check well after a minute he comes back out and he says I'm sorry but that was managers on hold something rather I don't know gave me some lousy excuse and then another employee comes over and says that that shoe isn't for sale for a couple weeks so I asked why I was able to try it on and all this other smack.. bottom line is the employees there or not informed so I blame the manager on this one and they absolutely should not have the shoe out on display ready for sale and should not let customers try em on!!! C'mon people! Felt left high & dry! I ended up buying a shirt there a Jordan shirt for $60 - 20%came to like $53 I'm going to go and take it back now after thinking about all this and being upset about the whole no shoe sale thing. I went here looking for shoes for my son. I was greeted by someone at the door which was cool. As I was looking for shoes, I noticed almost all of the display shoes didnt have prices. I'm sure there's an intentional reason for this but it's inconvenient for any customer. That reminded me of why I usually dont go to the store in the first place. I grabbed 2 dif display shoes and walked to Mr. Greeter to get a price. He hesitated like he was about to take action and do it, then he pointed to the cashier ringing up someone else. So there I am waiting in line w/ 2 display shoes. Not to buy, not to even try on, but to price. All the while, mr. cashier is casually helping a customer but then gets interrupted by a employee who came in on their day off to pick up their check and stops in the middle of the transaction to get it.. And no joke, the phone was ringing non stop and the cashier was asking for someone to pick up the phone because it was ringing for like "20 minutes" ahaha.. All while Mr. Greeter did nothing. I went to Shoe Palace at Solono Mall, and had nothing but problems getting help. If you were a young, nice looking girl the young men were all over you, practically falling over each other to help. But when it came to adults or grandmothers with children you played hell getting their help. I finally stepped up to one man and said i was here first and you will help I was here first. He was rude and quickly got part of my order then left and i had to get someone else. I've tried all morning today to call the store and no answer. I even let it ring til it rang busy. Still no answer. I looked on my phone i called 23 times not answered once. So why have a phone? This is a terrible store and i wont ever be back and suggest you not go there at all. read more

I bought a pair of lebron 9 hornets at this store on May 20, the air bubble popped on the left shoe and I tried to exchange them on May 30. Even though the rest of the shoe was in mint condition the employee (who claimed to be the manager) told me that the shoes were broken due to "excessive wear" and were not defective. I asked him for his manager's phone number and he gave me a fake phone number. I called the corporate office with no response. The manager here is a shady! I heard she was selling Metallic Red Foamposites before release day! There was only 6 pairs at the store on release day. Folks that bought early were telling everyone where they got them early from. Other stores in the mall are aware of the shady goings on at this store and know that side deals and shoe sales are made off of the register. Don't normally believe the hype but too may people have the same story on this person. As a sneaker head I take this ish personal as it was already a limited release and you made it more limited by selling pairs early! Shady to the fullest!
