The staff there are a disaster. Both guys looked pissed off and acted like I was interrupting their day by asking for the correct shoe size. Informed him it was a men's size, he insisted it wasn't, then walked off. The music was blasting. This place was close for me to take a bird scooter to get there. I needed a pair of shoes to go on a bike ride. I knew the two shoes I was going to try on when I got there. The staff was polite and quick to help me. I was in and out of the store in like 10 minutes. read more

Went in and bought a white pair of Adidas on sale..today went to get dressed and put my new shoes on and these IDIOTS sold me 2 right shoes!!! keep in mind i have drop foot from a stroke and having to return to this location is a major hassle there is no parking unless you pay for it way down the street and walking is not easy for me as I use a cane and have to cross a busy intercetion. I so hate them right now! I also live almost 20 miles away and the traffic is horrible if you buy shoes here you better check them!! By far the best shoe shopping experience I have ever had. Not only did Ashley help me find a great alternative to what I came there for, but the customer service I was treated with from the hard-working staff was also phenomenal. They were literally running to the back to get shoes for the customer it was like I was at a sports game because there was so much energy in the store. I liked especially that I got one-on-one experience of finding the right shoe for me. Initially, I came in looking for some Jordan 1s. Knowing that usually shoe stores raffle the retros off I knew I was playing myself but I thought why not try and check it out. Although I was kindly told they do not have Jordan ones when I asked who seemed like the manager, he pointed me in the right direction towards a wall of Jordans, and there I saw a beautiful-looking Jordan 1 MID. I was thrilled. At first, they didn't have my size in the black and pink one which was what I was drawn towards but they had these black and red ones, It was explained that these shoes are very popular and also super stylish. Turns out not only did they have a rare mid in stock they also had some buy one get one free deal. ooh boy could this store get any better! I bought some shoe cleaner and a proofer that has been protecting my shoes ever since. After having been to so many different shoe stores on the promenade this experience was by far A1! read more

I work less than a block away from here so I walk by it every day on my way in and out of the office. I also work out right across the street and one day I forgot gym shoes so I came in here and tried on a couple different pairs of Adidas and the associate that helped me was super kind even though I had a lot of requests he was very patient and helped me find a very comfortable pair of NMD's and I bought them and was able to go to the gym. I'll be coming back here to get all shoes and tracksuit's in the future read more

There was a good selection of shoes and also some upscale activewear clothing brands at fair (but not cheap) prices. The store was clean and the salespeople were polite. I didn't think it was the best selection of shoes I've ever seen but you we found a couple shoe styles we liked. Worth a visit if you're walking on the promenade in Santa Monica. read more

Don't go to this location unless you have spare time to waste on unhelpful and rude employees. Although the location has a pretty good shoe selection, it has really bad customer service. Service was ok in the beginning but what really bothered me was my second interaction with a white employee. He never got back to me with a second pair of shoes to try on because he was chatting it up with his coworker. I was even more bothered at how I was rudely ignored when I approached the same employee who was supposed to help me. I was standing in front of them awkwardly for a while until they finished their mundane conversation, and when I asked about the shoes he sounded and visibly looked annoyed at me. Seriously? Next time just tell customers you don't want to help, it will save all of us a lot of time. read more

This is a terrible place. BE WARNED of price gouging and manipulative behavior by the manager and the sales team. The shoes that I bought my 10 year old son were marked $149 but were charged $190 at the register. I believe this is a scam that they use often. My son already had the shoes on his feet (encouraged by the sales girl to "wear them out of the store") and was so excited (encouraged by the sales girl again), but the manager would not honor the marked price. The manager was very rude about it. Then he accused me of changing the marked price by moving the stickers around. Would he have done this if I was a man? I used to come in two times a year to by shoes for my three boys. I won't be back. read more

I bought a pair of track suit pants from this store and then tried to return them a few days later. I did not have the receipt, but the pants had the original tags still on them and I could show my credit card statement showing the purchase, but the manager told me he could not process the return without the receipt. Dumb policy and bad service, don't shop here, there is a Nike, Adidas, Converse, Champs, and several other shoe/apparel stores within walking distance, who I am sure have more reasonable return policies. read more
