Very unfortunate to come in from out of town to visit Brian and shop and realize he's not longer here. The service did not compare.

I purchased some items today, and when I came home and checked my receipt, I realized that they had overcharged me. I have a receipt, and it clearly shows that I was charged incorrectly. When I called them, they said they wouldn't refund my money, and if I wanted a refund, I would have to come back to their store in person. However, I'm not willing to go back to the store because I'm not from Santa Monica, and the traffic is terrible. When I spoke to a supervisor named Brad, he was one of the most ridiculous people I have ever encountered. He talked over me, yelled at me, and was very sarcastic. Overall, the people who work there, including Brad and two girls, were unprofessional and rude. They never acknowledged clients in the store, offering a simple greeting or asking how they could help. read more

I started playing tennis a couple of years ago and love the gear at Wilson. I can wear my outfits to play and to dinner after! Quality is incredible and you can have your individual styleMy guy friends now buy shorts and shirts to workout (better than lulu) and buy their casual sets for a easy day out! More importantly, i drive an hour to this store because I love the team there. They are so helpful! read more

do not come here to restring your racquet or at all. they kept my friend's racquet for two days (they promised it would take 2 hours) and still couldn't complete the job. when we asked about it, the customer service was rude and unhelpful, and they refused to issue a refund even though the service was not provided. but of course we argued for a refund and got it back very disappointing experience. would not recommend this location if you need your racquet restrung or expect basic customer service. read more

I had a great time here picking out all the golf material and everything they offered great service customer service was wonderful.

Customer service - beyond low level. We purchased multiple items and needed something as simple as separate bags. They just flat out refused even though we could have split into multiple transactions. They just took a return back and lost the sale. The person claimed to be a Manager at store!! I was Purchasing in Wilson Sporting Goods 1349 Third St Promenade Santa Monica, CA 90401 yesterday 5/18/2024 there was a great environment with a great team that give me a great service and I purchased closing for my family and myself for the amount of $877.61 2. I came over to the store on May 19, 2024 around 1:30 PM to return one item because it didn't fit well. the manager ("cheron") wasn't nice and not cooperative in order to help me get my return. she give me a hard time just because of that no receipt. 3. She try to send me away by saying and saying (quotes) "I'm not take it back" (end of quotes) I can't help you. I think it was very rude. 4. I left the store and came back after that and asking the other guy to help me and to print out the receipt from yesterday. 5/18/24 5. He say immediately it's not a problem and print out the receipt for me and got my refund with no problem. 6. I went back to talk to the manager in the back of the store and asking her, I don't have any personal issues with you, but I'm wondering why didn't you want to help me to get my? She was looking into my eyes and saying you didn't have the receipt!!! 7. I say to her, but see, we could pull out the receipt in a second from your system and get the return back without any problem. That's the fact right !!! why couldn't you do this too? 8. She was very upset, just give me the look, turn her back and say have a good day, sir!!! 9. Well... I'm highly recommended to the managers of this company to check closely if this is the person with this manners they want them to manage there store and to make sure that things like that will not happen in the future again. 10. Love the store. But i will say i went into the store yesterday and one of the staff members in the back near the racquets had the worst customer service and literally didn't know anything about racquets. I asked him for a price range of the racquets and he was aggressive/confrontational. I also overheard him being very rude to another group of visitors - he literally thought they were talking about a grip size when they were asking for a particular racquet and he said they don't have a racquet like that. He was very dumb/rude/and i hope to never see anyone like that again in a store anywhere..not sure how Wilson hired the guy without properly training him on literally anything..he was the tall dude with attitude from Wednesday August 30 morning shift. I just ordered a Wilson Blade tennis racquet online and was looking for some new tennis clothes. I was hesitant to order their clothes online because some people complained about the sizing. I was so pleased to see this new shop so I could actually try on their clothes before buying. Unfortunately, I arrived late - five minutes before closing time. The staff there were really kind and let me try on clothes even though they had already closed the cash register. I was able to try on a couple of skirts to determine my size and then order them online. The skirts arrived today and they fit perfectly! I ordered the midtown tennis skirt in green and the classic pleated tennis skirt in blue. The staff said they recently opened the store and it was their first Wilson store in California. The displays need some work but they had all the sizes and most of their online selection in the store and the quality felt good. I would recommend the clothes and the store. I was in need of a new tennis racket and heard this location had just opened up on Third St. Promenade. I had been using a Head racket for several years, but liked the style of the Wilson rackets and wanted to give them a shot. Anthony and the manager could not have been more attentive and helpful in assisting me in selecting the racket that best fit my needs. My wife and eye even got to try out a few rackets in the back of the shop, which was a lot of fun and really helped me make a good choice. We were there kind of late, and Anthony didn't have time in the schedule at first to get the racket strung, but after explaining I wanted to use it the next day, he was able to squeeze us in.
