I don't write reviews often, but Marko and KT at the Abbott Kinney On Cloud location genuinely earned one. I drove all the way from Long Beach and I would do it again without hesitation. I walked in as a professional DJ who is literally on her feet all day at weddings, corporate events, and everything in between, and walked out feeling like I had a full personal coaching and styling session. Marko was THAT guy. He took the time to actually understand my life, my needs, and my vibe before recommending a single thing. Sweat-friendly apparel? Check. The perfect shoe for 8-hour performance days on my feet? Nailed it. His attention to detail, humor, and genuine care made the whole experience feel less like shopping and more like being helped by a friend who happens to know everything about athletic footwear. I was so inspired that I posted about On Cloud on my Instagram story to encourage others to shop at THIS location. That is not something I do lightly. KT set the tone from the jump with hospitality that made the whole visit feel warm and welcoming. You can tell both her and Marko genuinely love their jobs and love this brand, and that energy is absolutely contagious! Give them both a raise, protect them at all costs, and never let this store lose that warmth. On Cloud makes me feel like a baddie athlete and I am fully here for it. Absolutely love my ON shoes! I got a pair through the WalkGood organization, and fell in love with the brand. The name hits the nail on the head, because you literally feel like you're walking on clouds! I got the On Cloudmonster Hyper Shoe in pink! This is my favorite running shoe, and I feel much lighter running in these than any other shoe! I ran in the shoe for the first time at the Abbott Kinney One, and they were one of the sponsors. Their booth had displays of shoes and also a fun booth (photo attached). Their store was super clean and had a variety of items, including socks and other accessories. The workers were helpful and we even shot a promo outside of the store. I think you get tremendous value for your buck, and it's definitely worth the purchase if you're on the fence! read more

My wife and I walked into this store having never owned On brand shoes. My wife is very picky when it comes to what shoes she wears so I figured we were just going to browse a bit and walk out. In the end, we walked out with a couple of pairs of shoes because of the outstanding service Jose provided us. He was not only extremely nice and pleasant, but honest and helpful as well. My wife tried on a pair of Cloud 6s. Upon trying them on, she said that the laces felt tight. She asked Jose if they would loosen up over time. He said maybe a little. He then offered to replace the laces with something longer to hopefully alleviate the discomfort. He then left us temporarily to replace the laces. When he came back with shoes with new laces, my wife tried them on and stated that they feel a little loose now, but feel much better. At this point, she was going to buy the shoes as is, but Jose offered to replace them with medium length laces to ensure an even better fit. He left us to relace the shoes yet again. When he returned, my wife tried on the shoes and they were a perfect fit. The amount of time Jose spent with her to ensure she was 100% comfortable was impressive. Side note: I was really digging the service so while waiting, I got myself a pair of Cloud Runners. Being a Hoka guy, I hate to admit that these shoes are more comfortable than any of my Hokas. Wonderful experience from start to finish with Jose. My mom was in town and always wanted to visit the ON store. Jose I listened to all of our requirements and matched her with a few shoes she knew she would like. I was so impressed by his customer service and felt like he was genuinely interested in making sure that my mom had a good experience. I wasn't even looking for shoes when I walked in but I tried on a pair of the Cloud X4 and didn't think twice about buying them. I originally purchased a pair of On shoes online a few years back, for a trip to Alaska. They were one of the best shoe purchases I've ever made. I went to the On Store in Venice, to purchase the same pair of waterproof shoes for my son's trip to Europe. I told him having a pair of these shoes would be the best thing for him. Jose at the ON Store LA was so great, he took his time to understand my needs for a good pair of walking shoes. Based on my experience with him, i found out that I was wearing the wrong shoe size for the past couple years!! I found a great match with the Cloud X 5's and Cloudsurfers. Ended up purchasing the X 5's as they had a beautiful/barely there feel. We purchased a white tee for a birthday gift, and that friend loved it for its QUALITY material. Yes, the shoe brand is excellent, but let me tell you about Matt, the sales rep who helped me. It is so refreshing to meet someone who does their job with a smile. Matt was knowledgeable and adapted to my questions. More importantly, he didn't push shoes on me; he listened to my needs instead, and we went from there. On Running Venice When I first saw On at the San Francisco Marathon in 2018, all I thought to myself was this was an ugly shoe. Little did I know that the brand would grow on me to be one of my favorite shoes. The store itself is very nice and has the modern beach vibe to it. Customer service is good, though this store can get very busy on weekends so you may have to be a little patient. The only hard part about this store is the return policy. Once you buy the shoes at the store, you can't return unless they are practically unworn. This could be a struggle for those who are trying to get used to the shoe for the first time. I highly recommend that you try the shoe first and walk around before you buy! They do have a run club on Thursday's at 7PM so that might be a great time to try on the shoe if they offer trial shoes! read more

Wow, first of all I am astounded by the customer service I received from my sales associate, Jose. I've never felt so welcomed & respected quite like this before. I came in with a surface level product knowledge of the brand and which sneakers I wanted to try. I am super stubborn and particular with my running shoes. For context: I've been running in the Hoka Bondi's as well as the Nike Alphafly 2 Next% and have been looking for my next acquisition. I came in to grab a shoe based on aesthetic and was set on grabbing a pair of Cloudmonster 1's or 2's in the white colorway. Jose was super informative & had a ton of product knowledge to share with me. Nearly ready to check out, he urged me to try on the Cloudmonster Hyper. My goodness- they are the perfect stack height, cushion + firmness ratio, & shape. He assisted me in finding my ideal shoe & I couldn't be any happier. The inshore experience is nice. It has a very modern look and has enough seating to support a lot of clients. They also have a lot of employees to support those clients. The parking, like all things on abbot Kinney is not good. You're either lucky or walking a little bit away. The selection of shoes were all in season models and did not have a sales rack. They did have a large, and easy to access, sample set of each shoe. I did find, however, that the samples were fairly broken in and did not match the out of box shoe fit. There is also not a lot of space to run around and see if the running shoes work, well, for running. These are expensive shoes and they do not allow returns if they are worn out of the store. This is my one big negative. If you can find On shoes from a reseller, go there, you will get a better return policy. Now the people are nice and you can see and try on all the new shoes. But buy them elsewhere. read more

Amazing. Their shoes are number one I bought some online for my daughter for Christmas. They're a $150, but they're so cushiony. Not sure about the bad reviews. There must be a new manager. I was treated promptly and with respect. I did not have to wait too long before someone was asking me if I needed help. I was asked what I wanted and within minutes I had a shoe that fit my needs. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size so they had to order it for me. Got it in 4 days. In my opinion these are the best shoes for me at this time. They are the ones that make me feel the most stable. In my mind they offer the best value for my money. The shoes work great on my legs. It gives them a workout that others don't. I highly recommend the product. I will be back to get one with a leather top. read more

On 12/12/2025, at about 4:30 pm, it took more than 20 minutes to find parking, and then it was a good walk to the store. There were 2 customers other than me in the store. A young man with dark hair greeted me and asked what I needed. I told him shoes, and that I need a wide size. He did not ask what I would use the shoes for: walking, running, trail running, gym. The store has great storage racks behind the displays. He took out a pair of seemingly random shoes and told me that these are the most popular, adding that they do not carry wide sizes in the store. I tried them on. They were fairly comfortable, but were not running shoes, and that is what I needed. The young man had completely disappeared. I expect a lot more from a company store. Even if they did not have what I needed in the store, I expect a company salesperson to discuss what I need and explain the shoes so that I can order online. The distinct impression was that he works on commission, and since he did not have what I needed, he decided not to spend any time explaining ON shoes. read more

The manager Lana is a complete bully. If I could leave zero stars I could. Never has a sales person made me feel worse. I literally cried walking out of that store because of how bad she embarrassed and belittled me in front of other customers and staff. I was trying to exchange shoes I bought for my moms birthday a week before and had written on the box- I told her I was happy to keep the old box but just needed a different size or shoes with actual laces (many of them are slip on). After trying to problem solve with her and being met with extremely hostile treatment she finally agreed. I asked if I could see the selection of shoes with real laces and she sassily said "well you can see which have laces" and then turned around. The issue now was I had a $10 credit - she said they didn't do refunds so I offered to eat the cost because I wanted to get out of there so bad. Her response "I'm not an engineer I can't just make money go away" in the rudest tone. I'm in absolute shock. I cannot believe I spent almost $200 at this store to be treated that way. read more

Great location to visit if you want shoes that last. The staff was really nice and helped me try on shoes to figure out what would work best for me. I ended up buying a pair of white cloud 5 coasts! Took them around the world backpacking through 12 countries. They have held out beautifully. Good for beach trips on the sand and easy to clean. They were perfect for my needs. I wish I could leave ZERO stars. Sales people totally not helpful and give out wrong info. I was told I could return shoes if needed by calling On and they would send me a return shipping label. I asked if I'd get a full refund and was told yes. I called to get a shipping label and was told I could only get a credit. I spoke to the store "manager" who apologized and said they are still working out kinks between stores and online. She assured me she would get the issue fixed. Never heard from her again. I was super excited to go to a flagship store. However, it was a extremely disappointing as the employees mainly just talked amongst themselves as opposed to assisting the customers. The person who helped me wasn't able to tell me the differences between the shoe models. Do not buy your shoes here. If you buy online or at a department store and find the shoes uncomfortable,, they will accept returns or exchanges. Not here. I am not sure if they are a franchise or how they are separate from the on line store, but they apparently do not stand behind their product. I bought The Roger Center Court-the more expensive and "comfortable" of the two yesterday. Today I walked in my neighborhood about 10 blocks. Sometimes you just can't tell how comfortable a shoe is going to be until you wear it for a bit. I have a ton of other OC running shoes that I swear by, but this style didn't work. When I called to ask about what they could do, they informed me. that they didn't take returns or exchanges on shoes that had been worn, I told them next time I will be sure to buy from the on line or department store.
