I wanted to try on a pair of booties and a pair of sandals. Both sales associates were busy helping other customers. There was no "hi, someone will be with you shortly." One associate was checking out a customer. After the sale was complete the customer started chatting about her experience with Amazon. I waited patiently on the couch for several minutes, yet the associate continued to engage with the other customer instead of saying, "I'm sorry, I have another customer to assist." Even when I got up and returned my selections to their perspective shelves, there was no acknowledgement of my presence. I will take my dollars elsewhere.

Although I would have preferred black, the dark blue was subtle enough to be acceptable. She brought out a pair that I tried on. She even adjusted the back of the shoe rim as I felt a little pressure on my tendon. The fit was good. They carry only the top brands such as Olukai, Rockport , New Balance, and Mephisto And they have an incredible selection I was amazed to find so many choices. They have an amazing machine measuring the pressure points on your feet so you can buy inserts for your shoes to allow you to have the best comfort while wearing your shoes. It was just a simple calculation in my head because of the El Paseo location and it being not too far from the all-out MAGA Patriot Store. The 'pretty things inside' sidewalk sign caught my attention today and I ventured in with the lowest of expectations. Turns out, my assumptions were way off; the shop has a beautiful aesthetic with thoughtfully curated clothing that captures the L.A. cool vibe that I remember well when I lived there. The clothes are priced appropriately for their quality, to be sure. They are not expensive per se, but you are getting top notch quality for the money. A sweatshirt may be $200 bucks but it is likely the softest one you'll ever own. I loved how the clothes had such a luxe, soft touch to them. There were some summery white clothes that were chic but I don't know how you could wear underwear underneath them that doesn't show, but that's not my concern. I was greeted when I walked in, checked on while shopping in a friendly way, and not stalked which I also appreciated. I ventured upstairs to the home goods department (I think she said) and found lots of mystical items and books that I was fascinated with. I don't hold any beliefs on tarot, astrology and the like, but I found this display charming and I picked up a few 'starter kits' just for fun. Checkout was pleasant and my purchases were wrapped in tissue and placed in a lovely bag. After my visit I scanned through some of the Yelp reviews and was surprised to see someone complaining about the customer service or that they had to ask for a bag or whatever. And that they didn't know you could only exchange for a store credit - Girl, there is a sign right there next to the payment machine. I'll be back for sure and would highly recommend Blonde to all blondes, brunettes, redheads and ravenhaired.
