Snacks are plentiful, restrooms are fairly clean, & best of all- there is no yucky stench!!!!! I was literally contemplating on holding off from using the restroom completely but I was luckily pleasantly surprised. I wanted a drink and to fill the tank with diesel. Yes, they actually had diesel. The price was reasonable. Going into the building, things were not dirty but not exactly clean, either. Compared to the Circle K in Los Baños that is near the skate park, this was great, though. The rest room, shared with Jack in the Box, was not dirty. The drink fountain was not dirty. Someone needed to tidy up. The cashier was friendly and efficient but she went outside to talk again as I was leaving, just as she had been when I entered.

I'm so glad the owners didn't try to "modernize" it... and make it something it isn't... to me, it was a historical landmark of what my grandpa's drug store might have looked like... that was really fun... I will go make a pilgrimage to the June Lake general store because it's one of a kind gem...
