She's in a great location and has her own cozy suite that gives a true 1:1 experience. The intake form might seem like a lot, but I'm so grateful for it. She is so detailed and will ask you questions about the responses you include in that form, it's not "just fluff". Upon arrival for the appt, she spent a solid 15 minutes or so showing me pictures to ensure she and I were in alignment with the direction we planned on taking my hair after the last stylist I saw didn't meet my expectations. She talked me through me every step. I did opt for the bombshell blonde because I felt like my prior stylist had been sporadic with foil placements. Amber was so kind and genuine with all of her input and advice. And the bombshell service was the most impressive number of foils I've had. She also talks you through her recommendation on next service to help make sure you keep your hair healthy. She is, without a doubt, a master to her craft and she was SO fun to get to know. I sent R Salon a message and Anthony, the owner, responded immediately with openings. One for the the same day which was a Saturday. He also let me know they could take me earlier so I was on my way to Clearwater! Immediately upon entering the salon, I felt so at ease. Anthony was there to greet me and introduced me to Jenna who was going to be my hair goddess. She was awesome! So friendly and personable. She also did an AMAZING job on my hair and did exactly what I wanted. A few caramel highlights in my Wednesday dark hair. She offered wine and of course I couldn't say no. So I sat in my chair waiting for the color to develop, drinking good wine, in great company with the staff and other salon patrons. It was like happy hour in the middle of the day. Jenna did it right, she didn't take any shortcuts. My hair does not develop blonde quickly, but she worked well with it. She was patient and professional. I LOVE the color. I've tried Brazilian blowouts and other treatments before at other salons, but this one had amazing and lasting results. Keratin makes my hair manageable living in beach climates (and having really thick hair)! A simple blow dry looks styled and ready to go. Even air drying looks presentable.
