This attraction catches your eye because it has a shooting range (costs $1-2 per game depending on how many you play) and a crazy looking horse outside. The attraction is $5.95 per person and will last approximately 10 minutes. Inside is a large screen and red seats that you ride (like a horse). The first movie is called Pirate's Plunder and the second is a cowboy-themed movie, which is also 7D and requires glasses. The seats move while you use your gun to shoot targets and rack up points. Periodically it shows you who is in the lead, or the poor soul in last place. I wasn't going to join my kids and husband on this ride but I'm glad I did. Super cheesy but I cracked up during the ride. And, it was sweet victory when me and my son beat my husband during the cowboy movie. Because of the seats, kids under 5 may have a hard time riding, at least alone. There's no strap to keep you on the seat while shooting. Several of the seats were also out of order and the middle ones may offer an advantage to shoot the targets. (Harder than it looks) The clerk was super friendly and let us know if we return and show our receipt, every person gets $1 knocked off their ticket. read more

Seriously I was looking forward to get my son to shoot some stuff, he wanted zombies but wasn't tall enough for the other place, so we came across with this place and decided to go inside. The first time my son had to be with me and so while moving it was like riding a bull, it was hazarded in me than on my son lol. The second time he did it himself on a chair hat does not move and he looooved it even more, these kind of places are amazing and so much fun. This was a nice stop off at the end of a great night. The staff that were working were friendly and full of information. The explained the show even though they were about to close they let us go through the attraction. The gentleman that seated us gave us the necessary information to enjoy the show. The theatre shows a double feature one 3-D and one not. The first is a pirate show and the second is a wild west one. The shows were entertaining and the horse like saddle seats were full motion. I honestly believe that the guns were off on the scoring. I didn't win and I'm not sure how that happened. That would be my only complaint even though it was not their fault I could hit the target. read more

If you have to pay more than the "$5 special" they're always running, you're paying too much. But for $5, it's a decent 15 minutes. Climb aboard a red "horse," check your fire, and shoot skeletons on pirate ships in 2D, then cowboy robot things in 3D. Sit in the front row, lest you just shoot the person in front of you for 10 minutes. Also, you will get wet. So be prepared for that. It's fun enough. Bonus storytime - an actual conversation that happened as we left. Wife - "You're in a better mood. You liked the shooting thing?" Me - "Yeah it was good, also I won both rounds." Shoot 'me Up was just okay. The price was about $5 per person. It only lasts about 10 minutes so I guess it was somewhat worth it. The main issue that I experienced was that half of the rides don't work. After switching seats 3 times, I was not able to get the full experience. There were some families in the front row that had a great time. I would suggest this for those who need to kill a little time or have younger children because it's a little "kiddie". read more

Ok, I'm a short girl big kid at heart. I nerd out for stuff like this all the time, and when we saw the sign on this unexpected day it was like the clouds parted and emanated the sweetest sound of a tiny trumpet from above. "Special Today: $5 per person for two shows!" We started to walk past, but then did an about face and snatched those tickets right up. When you're waiting outside, you will hear "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" about 3 times or more depending on the length of the line. There is an animatronic horse riding a man that looks pretty creepy, and if you're analytical like me, you start to wonder what's in his little bag on the stick after awhile. When you get inside, there are several rows of red "seats" that are reminiscent of horses. They tell you which ones move and which ones don't after handing you a pair of 3D glasses. After a brief introduction, the lights get shut off, and BOOM, you're on a pirate ship. The red seats start moving as if you are on the boat coasting over the waves, and you take your gun out and start shooting at skeleton pirates. Your seat has a number, and you will see your number show up on the screen where you are shooting, and the points rack up with each good hit that you make. After the pirates are defeated, it's time to put on your 3D glasses and head to the old west. The sheriff is in a bit of a conundrum, and he needs all of your help! If you shoot well, you are commended, if you are horrible, they show you up on the screen and say you're no help. Thank fully our no help was just an empty seat! All in all it was a great time for my sweetie and I, and as I said above we are both adults. You get sort of rained on during the waves of the sea, and you feel as if you are riding a stallion through the wild west shooting some bad guys. I would definitely do it again, and you can even purchase a picture outside, which at the time only cost us another $5. Awesome! Cheese factor is pretty fantastic, and all the kiddos I saw in there seemed to have a great time too. read more

This is definitely for children. We'd walked by it a million times and this time we finally went in. We thought we had gone at a good time since it was only $5 but I guess that is always the price. My chair didn't move which was probably a good thing because I'm not the biggest fan of that type of stuff. I realized when it was almost over that I needed to shoot lower than what I thought. Well I am not quite sure why there is a sign that says 7D or even 5D for that matter. I am not an expert in that field, but it does seem like the effects should blow your mind with that advertisement. It is an interactive shooting game that has a pirate themed scene that is 2D, then switches to a western themed 3D scene in which you will use the glasses they give to you. Both scenes were fun for our competitive family and the western scene shows pictures of the players and their rank. I had a hard time seeing the images on the 3D western scene but I enjoyed it anyway. The moving seat was also really fun. I think the whole thing lasted about 10 minutes. The $5 rate I read about from previous reviews had gone to $5.95 probably due to the holiday weekend, but was still reasonable. read more

This place I have seen many mixed reviews on but I so wanted to do it becuase we have always been fans of interactive 3d games. That being said the retail price of 12.99 is terrible, but we lucked out and got a 7.99 rate which seemed about right for what we got. I made sure to check out the reviews before going in because so many places around have awful reviews for their attractions but this one was good. They were having the $5 "special" which most reviews mention so I think it's the usual price. It's really great for $5. You go in and the seats are nice, the first movie isn't 3d and was Pirate and was really fun to shoot at everything on the screen and it takes your photo and at the end shows you the top person in the crowd on the screen with your face while shooting. It's a great interactive ride. The second movie is western/cave type and is really fun the seat moves a lot during that movie and it even has fans and some light mist. I thought it was fun and definitely worth the $5. The ticket people were nice and we even bought our photo. Had fun! read more

We have been coming here for years. To the gatlinburg area in general for 30 years. Love Gatlinburg. Recently we visited last week. My son LOOVES this ride. The price is $5.95 per person. According to their "special" the price is ALWAYS $5.95......We usually ride this 5-6 times every time we visit. Except this timee.... the blonde haired young lady bold faced lied to us.... the wind, water, and the cameras were either not turned on, or not working. When we finished the ride i approached the booth and told the girl about this. I notified her that half the fun is the wind in your face, the water spraying you, and the pictures of the shooters. (Best and worst) her exact words to me were " yea thats why the price is discounted"...... i explained to her that i was a grown man and i have taken my kids on this ride MANY times. The price has been $5.95 every single time...... how about hey sir im sorry, hey sir we turned them off for "reason", or hey how about a discounted ride? Nope. Little girl i have taken my kids on this ride 100 times. But this one was the last. We will not be returning to this fraudulent business. read more

They advertised 7-D, it was not, they claim they were in transition phase , which I highly doubt it, half the rides did not work, it was mediocre at best. Defiantly not going back, it just needs a REMODEL, like tear down and rebuild. There are much better ones. read more

We got the spring special for $5 a person. My husband, child, teenage cousin, and grandmother did this and had a lot of fun. Great for all ages. The pirate show didnt move as my I as the cowboy scene. My 5 year old son had a hard time holding on during the cowboy scenes. We purchased the picture for $5. Me and my husband had a blast!! The seats are like horses and you have to straddle them and they move, but non moving seats are available "signs". Other than our arms being wore out from "shooting" we had so much fun. It takes pictures of you while playing and displays them on screen with your score. For the $5 special you can't beat this 5D experience. The other similar movies are much more expensive and offer basically the same experience. The ticket guy was incredibly sweet and personable. The actual movie was fun. We had 2 adults and a 10 year old girl and a 5 year old boy and everyone had fun. Make sure to actually hold on especially during the 2nd movie! It gets bumpy! This was one of the funnest things we did in the are. First off, it's cheap. $5 a person, which in this area is very budget friendly. My sons loved it and my husband as well. It is only 15 minutes long but my 11 year old and 7 year old do not last long at anything so that worked fine with us. We also putt putted next door so it was convenient.
