I have the 90s cigarette mom brows now! It looks awful on my face. The past couple of times I've also had waxers who wax over the same brow area 2-3 times and it wrecks my sensitive skin. I'm no expert but I know this is a no-no for your skin. My last visit the waxer was complaining the entire time about the other waxers and how dirty they left the rooms (yikes?) This visit my waxer was very nice, I just don't like the results. They've also started such aggressive upselling even after you say no. Last time the front desk lady was literally so rude to me after I said I wanted to wait to rebook. This time at least it was a different lady and she was nice but 3-4 different offers after I say no is a lot. $36 for brows I just gotta wait to grow out again right before the holidays is a lot. I'm headed back to Elixir I guess -- also expensive and slower service and more chatty which isn't my fave, but I feel like my brows look okay when I leave.

It felt as though I was the inconvenience to her. I'm relieved that I didn't end up getting services here and I will look to my other locations I frequent in the future. I've always had great experiences at European Wax and I've been to many in several states that were wonderful, but this receptionist is bad for the brand. Will never come to this location again.

After reading all the great reviews I decided to purchase a Groupon for her services. I attempted TWICE to schedule an appt before finally getting one, and I get it, shes a busy business woman. But on the day of my appt I explained to her that I was stuck at work and that I would potentially miss my appointment. Before even allowing me to reschedule she informed me through text msg that she had redeemed my Groupon as a missed appt fee. I never got to meet her, talk to her, I never even set foot in her salon! She communicated through text that "it wasnt a fee, just a redemption for a missed appt". Instead of offering options it made me upset that days before leaving to my vacations that I had to rush and find someone else. I recommend reading her fine print before scheduling because according to her its standard business to do what she did in my experience. read more

Janina has saved my brows from nearly nothing to perfectly shaped and full brows. They were a lost cause until Janina got to them. She took time and helped get them back to a full and shaped brow. I am so happy with what she was able to do, and continues to do, which I thought was impossible. I will never trust anyone else to touch my brows. Janina also does my Brazilian waxing.
