This Place has some of the nicest people working in the store and some absolutely Horrendous people working in the Pharmacy. The people who Almost Didn't fill my prescription were ignorant rude condescending and totally unprofessional in there feeble attempt to fill a Simple prescription. It took Far To Long after I was Told it would be ready the day before. Then they called my Doctor to inform him I would no longer be able to fill prescriptions here anymore. I asked a pharmacist at the Chilliwack Shoppers Drug Mart if she knew which replacement brush fitted a particular electric brush. She didn't and proceeded to tell me that no one else would no either. Pharmacy is overworked and understaffed. Typically takes 4-8 hours to complete a prescription, and takes 20+ minutes to pick up prescription because of the line (even as late as 10pm). The people at the pharmacy are amazing, just glacially slow because of being understaffed. read more

Check the price tags on the shelves and make sure that the prices on your receipt match! I am done with this place. I used to love it and would rack up nearly 100 000 points per year; lately, it has gone so downhill that in the last two years I have earned less than 10 000 (unless some get deleted--I do not know, nor do I care). Over the last few years (maybe since Loblaws took over--I do not know, and I still do not care, but the timing might coincide at least somewhat), I have complained about customer service and misleading pricing to people in the store, people over the phone, people on Facebook, and people on Twitter. This is my grande finale. Why had I insisted on torturing myself for about half a decade? First, when I started getting frustrated, the post office in there that was convenient for me kept me going there; whenever I would have to use it, I figured that I may as well buy stuff that I needed there. Then Michelle, who managed the post office (and other things, apparently) so well, left town, and James (who was also really good) moved to the regular cashiers. The service at the post office was not the same, and I found another one that is better. So 24-hour service was the only reason why I would sometimes go there. Now, unless it is the difference between life or death, I will pay more at a gas station or wait until the morning for whatever I need. Never mind the cashier who did not believe me when I said that two tubes of gel were taken from the discount cart. Never mind the cosmetics expert who told me to "go look over there" when I showed her a tube of Mary Kay cream and wondered if they had anything with similar ingredients. Never mind the fact that I had to go back to redo my passport photo after I realised that they did not give me a photo with the proper specs. I want to talk about the FBI investigations I had to undertake just to make sure that I would not get ripped off. From toothpaste to beef jerky, I encountered price discrepancies. Sometimes, I would complain, but most of the time I just skipped shopping for that product. Here is an example that really irked me once--partly because the lady at the till on this day was the same one who questioned me about my discount gel: I saw a tag on the shelf that advertised four 2L bottles of club soda for $4; at the till, it came to something closer to $12. I noted the special, and the lady went to the shelf, grabbed the tag, and brought it back to the till and showed me: in the fine print, it was noted that this special was for PC club soda, but I had Canada Dry. I told her to forget about it, but I went back to inspect. The Canada Dry soda had been place on the shelf, right above this tag, and the PC soda...was nowhere...there was no PC club soda at all--there was not even an empty space where someone could presume that PC soda could have been. Several times, from that day on, I checked, and this sort of thing happened repeatedly; once, an manager happened to be there, and I complained to her about it. She placed the blame on the "merchandisers," but let me take a bottle of Canada Dry for only $1 or whatever it was (it was not the four bottles for $4 that time). That is enough reminiscing, and I will tell you now what the final straw is for me. The other night, I stopped in to get a few things that I needed right away, and I figured that I will also get some deodorant and shampoo (not essential yet, as I had more at home--just getting low). At the till, the shampoo came up as being $11.49. I knew that it was $10.99, so I told the lady at the till to forget it (there was also a Midnight line up--but there seems to be a line up 24 hours a day there, or maybe it is just my luck). My "value pack" of deodorant came to $8.49; as an agent, I had been slacking off, as I could not recall was the price should have been, but while I thought that was too high, I had already complained once, and there was the line up, so I kept my mouth shut. As soon as I got home, I checked the online flyer and saw that two individual containers of the deodorant that I bought as a pair in a "value pack" were $6 for two, or $3.49 each. When I took my "value pack" back, I think that I spoke with the same lady who served me at the till (but I am so bad with faces and names sometimes, I cannot be sure--and if she remembered, I am sure that she preferred to be quiet about this). I first complained about the shampoo, and then I showed here my "value pack" of two items that cost me $8.49 while buying two outside of the "value pack" would have cost me only $6. She confirmed that buying the "value pack" was more expensive. I confirmed that this was stupid, that I wanted to return it, and I was never going to shop there again. She was nice about it, though. The way she reacted, I got the impression that she knew exactly what I was talking about while I ranted about the same things that I have written here. And I have run out of space here... read more

Everybody in the store proper is doing an amazing job. This pharmacy on the other hand is unacceptably bad. Told 35-40 minutes, showed up 3.5 hours later and still not done. Normally don't care if it happened once, but it has happened three times. Gets better, while in line the 4 people in front of me were all told the exact same thing: "Just need 15-20 minutes it's almost done". That 15 minutes was another hour and a half for me. If you value your time, you won't go here to get your prescriptions filled. Never again. read more

If you telephone this store trying to get a prescription transfer or anything else done that requires speaking to a real live person, be prepared to be on hold for a very, VERY, VERRRRYYY LONG TIME !!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. The pharmacy is horrible. They leave you on hold for over a hour when they need to check if your medication is ready. They always mess up my order - sometimes only half is ready or none of it is ready they never apologize for anything either. The whole staff is super rude, and they don't care for the well-being of their patients. This will be the last time I order my medication from here. I will never be returning. Have never had such bad medical service ever until I started dealing with this pharmacy. read more

The store it self is good but the pharmacy is horrid! They have lost my children's prescriptions on numerous occasions and had me waiting from 10-30 min while they track it down. This last instance I called in yesterday and was told it would be ready for 130 the next day. When I showed up at 2 pm it wasn't ready. I was told it would be another hour. I left and came back and it still wasn't ready and they needed more time. I am beyond frustrated with the service of this location ! It used to be wonderful and then it took a significant dive recently. I plan on switching to a different pharmacy as soon as I can! DO NOT COME HERE! read more

This is a great Shoppers Drug Mart. I needed ice packs for my injured knee so the elevator was greatly appreciated with my crutches. The staff are friendly and quick and the hours are late. 12am The selection of items here is great and it is a one stop shop for any last minute items or beauty needs. There is a regular as well as a luxury makeup section here. There is a small selection of food, mostly dry goods, I wouldn't recommend buying all your groceries here as it's more expensive, but the odd item, and sometimes they have great sales on items like peanut butter. read more

Shoppers Drug Mart - Entrance - Drugstores Near Me - Abbotsford, British Columbia

Came here to get a prescription for my daughter who was diagnosis with pneumonia. The pharmacy department was efficient, but needed to wait 20 mins for her prescription to fill. During the waiting period my 4 year old daughter needed to use the restroom. I asked one of the associate in the beauty department if there was a washroom we could use and much to my surprised she advised that their are no public washrooms in store. My husband then ask, "not even for small children?" And was told no. I then asked where the closes restroom and was directed to across the complex to a booster juice (that was closed). I eventually took her to the pizza store who allowed her to use their facilities. When I came back to the store my husband advised that my 6 old son needed to use the washroom and he asked an another associate and was allowed to use the rest room. I am extremely disappointed that we were denied access to the rest room for my daughter. I am not sure what the policy is there, but especially at a larger shoppers location that has a pharmacy where customers would have to wait for their prescription, there should be a washroom available. I don't know whether it was an associate issue or a store policy. read more

Usually check the ice cream specials but since I had to drive back home to Vancouver, not a good idea lol. Open layout, with their cosmetics dept on the right as soon as you walked in, and greeted nicely. Got what i wanted, as well as a great price too for men's hair wax by Schwarzkopf---regularly $8.99 on clearance for $2.29! Promptly, I bought the remaining 2 last ones, one for the hockey bag ;) Open 24 hours. read more

Honestly, I've never had problems with this store and don't usually feel compelled enough to actually download an app just to make a review. Anyways I went in today to buy a facial cleanser and the lady working the cosmetics counter was busy with another customer and mentioned she would be with me in two minutes and asked me what I was looking for, I told her. So about fifteen minutes later she's still talking with this "customer," but I can hear them talking about personal things going on in their life and basically gossiping about someone else. Which is fine if that's what you want to do, but this doesn't justify not helping me for fifteen minutes trying my best to figure what the right thing is to buy for my skin not understanding anything. So I go over and kindly remind her that I need help, then she says just one minute I'll ring this lady through and I'll be right there. Fine. So she rings the lady through and then some guy comes over and they seem friendly so she strokes up a full on conversation, I've been waiting and looking now for 30 minutes at which I had had enough and I left. Last time for my prescription this store lost my prescription slip and had to wait for more than hour for my medicine. Today on asking for emergency dosage of my Blood pressure medicine as my doctor's office was closed for prescription, I was refused even on telling them I am not feeling well without it and need it. not their concern. maybe one customer doesn't matter to huge organization but never stepping in shoppers drug mart again. read more
