I was nervous about the purchase as I still paid a considerable amount of money for a returned GE stove. A week before Christmas (7 months later) on a Friday I had an issue with a burner. By Monday Anail had a tech onsite to conduct a minor repair (dislodged component in the knob). The same day after the repair (Murphy's law), I had another unrelated issue with the stove not receiving gas after a self clean. I called Anail and he again had a tech onsite the next day diagnosing a fault in the pressure reducing valve. The tech taught me how to repair the problem if it happened again as it is not uncommon for a diagram to stick. A few hours later Anail called me to confirm that I was happy with the repair and informed me that he proactively ordered a new pressure reducing valve for replacement to ensure no future problems occur. I am absolutely happy with Appliance Outlet standing behind their service, product and brand.

This worked perfectly for us as we had a side of beef arriving in early November. At the beginning of November, I followed up on the delivery date and was informed it had been delayed until the end of the month--but was assured it would arrive then. Because of this, I had to make arrangements to store the beef elsewhere until the freezer arrived. On November 28, I called again to confirm delivery timing and was told it had been delayed yet again--possibly up to another 90 days due to a manufacturing issue. I spoke with the manager, Steve, who simply told me it was "out of his control" and directed me to their fine-print policy. When I asked whether they could provide a temporary freezer or offer a comparable model to honour the sale, he refused. The next day, I went to the store to speak with him in person. Steve again refused to take any responsibility or offer any solution. When I requested a full refund, he said it would be processed the following Monday--and then abruptly told me that I "could leave now." The level of customer service at this location was extremely disappointing. I have purchased from Coast Appliances before, but I was shocked at the rudeness, lack of accountability, and complete unwillingness to help resolve a problem that stemmed from their own delays. Recently we made a purchase at the Brick in Langley and had an issue with a delay for the delivery of the product. We were counting on having the item by the end of May and it was delayed by a month. Pam the manager and Jag in Sales provided extraordinary service for us and the issue was resolved the same day we went back to the store to see what the Brick could do for us. They went beyond what we were hoping for. It's easy to complain and get angry when things don't go your way or meet your expectations, but treat someone with respect and give them the opportunity to make it right. We are very happy with the only time we had an issue with the Brick and they made it right. We'll keep going back.

Over the ensuing 8 weeks, whenever I called to get an update ( I only succeeded in getting through to them 4 times from over 20 phone/text attempts. I was told they either didn't know what was going on, the part should arrive today/tomorrow and/or they would get back to me with an update. Nobody ever called me back or responded to phone or text messages. We eventually called another service provider and had everything complete within two weeks. Completely abysmal customer service. I would recommend that you stay away from this company.

Their inventory system is often out of date because of stuff like misplacement or theft.
