Had to come visit this place because we're fans of the show and we wanted to tour the house. Luckily, even though most of the boardwalk was closed down, this place was open. Lots of souvenirs to choose from. A little pricey on the clothing but well worth it. Only thing was the guy who was making out shirts wasn't very friendly. There were 8 of us in our group and we not only made multiple purchases but we also bought 8 tickets to tour the house and he still ignored my sister in law and kept putting off taking a picture with my niece. But took multiple photos with other people that just came in off the street. He is rude and inconsiderate and I will never waste my time and money in his shop again. Finally visited the Shore Store as a fan of the Jersey Shore! I visited on a rainy day so I wasn't expecting it to be crowded but there was still a good amount of people in there. Of course, I had to purchase a T-Shirt for my "it's T-Shirt timeeeee," moments LOL. I also purchased a couple of Jersey Girl magnets. This store has so much to choose from and the staff was super helpful. I love how you can pick out the color/style shirt you want and can choose from the graphics on the walls. The store was cool and the attendants were really helpful. The woman that worked there though was almost too helpful, sort of creeped behind us the entire time we were there and made it all sort of uncomfortable. Any time I showed my friend a shirt she would interrupt to ask if I was going to buy it, which gave us quite a bit of anxiety. She wasn't very polite during the tour either, I don't know that I'd recommend going if she was leading it. I was here in July and now August. I absolutely love this store and the Jersey Shore House tour. If you get a chance, visit the store. All of the staff there are nice, personable and helpful. Everyone knows how awesome Danny is and believe me he is. He makes you feel like he knows you personally and cares. And he looks as good as he did when Jersey Shore aired. Paul Merck is awesome also. He is personable, and knowledgeable. He makes you want to get to know him. He's really interesting to talk to. And, Gals, he is handsome , easy on the eyes. (Hopefully I'm not annoying a girlfriend or wife saying that). I cannot stress how much of a great selection and quality of merchandise. There clothes are top notch and reasonably priced. I have bought something every time I went since my first trip in 2016. If you live anywhere colder in the winter, the sweatpants are a must. I live in Wilkes-Barre, PA and it does get cold here. I also recommend the tank tops, Hoodies, and t shirts. Other merchandise I recommend are mugs, bracelets, stickers, and magnets. Add a shot glass, too. If you can't get to the store, I think they have a website at www.shorestore.com. As for the tour of the Jersey Shore House, I have done it 7 times and I recommend it. This is a tough review because nothing beats the tour we got from Paul in July. This time we had a kid who was knowledgeable. I dont think he told us his name. He was a good tour guide. We got the basics. Definitely take the tour, you will not regret it. Basically, Danny and Paul are friendly, personable, and down to earth. The other staff is very helpful and friendly. The merchandise is top notch and a great selection. The tour is interesting and a great one of a kind experience. Everyone visit the store, buy something, and take the tour. Had to check out the famous Shore Store while on the Seaside boardwalk. This place is located on the quiet side of the boardwalk, but there were a significant amount of people walking over there to see the place. It is pretty much exactly as advertised on the show - cheesy touristy attire. There are a lot of items that are based on the show - DTF, GTL, Grenade, etc T'shirts. I was going to buy something but everything is so tacky that you really couldn't wear anything without looking like a total douche. It was pretty cool to see the owner Danny sitting in the back looking for anyone to notice him. It made me think about the episode where Vinnie cock blocks his own boss.... When we got there, we were surprise that the Shore Store was exactly behind the Jersey house, which takes less than a minute! Anyways, the pier was close but luckily the store was open. We were going to do a tour of the house until we heard the owner Danny trashing Joe Biden saying "f*ck Joe Biden and f*ck anyone who voted for him". UGHHHHHHH i love this place soo much!! when i went on my labor day weekend trip!! i went there a whole 5 times!! Me being a huge jersey shore fan was honored to be helped by danny on multiple occasions, class act, awesome guy!! always willing to take pictures with fans!! The boardwalk has a ton of t-shirt shops, but this one has the added bonus of being "As Seen on TV". They'll make you anything you want, on any type of t-shirt, hoodie, shorts, etc for guys, girls and babies alike - which is really cool. A lot of the "Jersey Shore" TV hype has died down, but they still have a bunch of show-inspired t-shirts, as well as all the standard Seaside Heights tourist stuff. As I was checking out, the dude making my shirt asked if I wanted a tour of the house. Uh, yes please! He may have hesitated, as I'm not an intoxicated 20-something and was with my mom, but I was all over that offer, and made her come along.
