They used some artisan bread instead of your usual club toast. It was a good touch, though a bit heavy for brunch for us. Everything tasted great. Gingerbread latte was on the sweet side. The "fresh" strawberry OJ was probably not fresh. Well, we took off a lot of stars for the ridiculous number of flies buzzing around our table. We counted up to 3 flies sitting on an empty chair next to us at any given moment, with more flying around. We asked about the flies, and they brought out some spinny fly fans to keep the flies away. The flies were more hungry than they were scared of the fans. They also had a stash of these fans on the counter. So this wasn't a one-off problem. It was a recurring problem they chose not to solve. Yikes... Would I recommend this place? Probably not. If there were this many flies near our table, I wonder how many are in the kitchen?

My favorite dish of the night were the fried chicken wings. No batter, just naked wings with the skin on. I was a little disappointed for one reason, there were only 2 flats in the bunch! This seems like a business park type of setting. There's a lot of space. The place is loud and lively. The food was not gourmet but solid. And again, they're open late.

The food is subpar. They use cheap ingredients and purposely overprice the food on purpose out of greed. They buy their ingredients at grocery outlet and everyone knows they sell close to expire food. This business is run by illegal immigrants. The owner Yolanda and her husband pay illegal immigrants under the table. She also does tax fraud for her business. Every single year. Another thing you should know, she treats her waitresses terribly that's why no one lasts. Don't support this business. Lakeport is a sh**t hole, it's super dry and hot in the summer. It's not worth the visit for any tourist. Go somewhere else. Lake County will burn eventually. read more
