I sampled the chocolate ice cream and it was a no for me, very sweet and not much of a chocolate taste. But what really threw me off was I got a regular sugar cone and a single scoop. Well this scoop was the size of a golf ball if that! I don't know if the server was new or this is a normal single portion. However looking at the pictures it looks like she may have skimped a little on my cone. Had it not cost me almost $5 I may have been ok. OMG the best ice cream I ever had! I got the beignet flavor and it was amazing! I had a sample of the strawberry and it was so rich and creamy, it would've been my second choice. I asked for a single cone and their definition of a single cone is two big scoops! My 1 year old daughter has a dairy allergy so they gave her a sample size spoon and that was good enough for her. The girl helping me was nice, helpful and patient while I sampled about half their flavors. I live in Hampton but I can't wait to go back and take a cooler with me so I can take a pint home! We went here with our family of four and our two friends who are married based on a recommendation from one of my coworkers. We were visiting the area for the weekend and went here on Friday. It was cool to get to sample a lot of the options. My 6 year old son and I got chocolate ice cream. We both agreed it was some of the best chocolate ice cream we ever had. My 10 year old daughter got the strawberry lemonade Italian ice and really enjoyed it. My wife got the butter brinkle ice cream and really enjoyed it. One of our friends got the banana pudding ice cream and enjoyed it so much that she wanted to share it with everyone. Our friend's husband got a mint chocolate chip shake and enjoyed it so much that he wanted the larger size. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating. On a nice day, their outdoor seating is fun with a few games the kids can play with and the adults, us, just enjoyed the beautiful day. The ice cream was so good we made sure to stop by here again when we were making our way back home on Sunday. Everyone got the same thing except for my wife, daughter, and I. We enjoyed a banana split sundae which came with three scoops of ice cream and several toppings. We got two scoops of vanilla ice cream and one scoop of chocolate ice cream. I really enjoyed the chocolate ice cream and caramel and bananas. They cut the bananas into thin slices which made eating it really easy.
