We stopped here for dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar area was clean and the bar tender efficient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We split the small Caesar salad and an order of chicken wings. The food was good and enough for us both of us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It did seem really low key and quiet for a Saturday evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I found that surprising since it is walkable/golf cart drivable to a fairly large neighborhood.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Bartender was really not that friendly, tried to get beer recommendations, he had no interest. [[HIGHLIGHT]]TVs were noisy inside so went outside and the patio was nice in the evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered wings and a salad. Wings were overcooked but had a decent flavor, very small amount of ranch provided with them. Caesar salad had a lot of strong red onions and was so-so. If I lived in Winghaven I would love to have a neighborhood brewery, but I would be sad if this was my only choice.

Each time we come, we always find something we like! We came with our pub passes and got to try a fruity seltzer and beer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff is nice and attentive, patrons are friendly, music is at a reasonable volume, and they have a full food menu and bar as well![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place definitely has a neighborhood bar feel tucked into the Winghaven neighborhood.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted and felt welcomed. This was our first time visiting here. The bartender explained where the water station was and to come to the bar when we were ready to order and our food would be brought out to us. Our food came out fast, hot and delicious. The portion sizes were perfect and the IPA we chose paired well with our slightly spicy menu choices. I would recommend stopping in for some good beer and yummy bites!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Surprise tucked away in the neighborhood for a great Sunday brunch![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were perfect for a nice meet up with friends and some great brunch options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have bottomless mimosas and coffee, it's a simple and vegetarian friendly menu. Staff is friendly and helpful- I can't wait to add this to my brunch spot rotation!

We came here on a little spur-of-the-moment pub crawl using our '24 pub passes: it was a bit of a drive for us but I'm glad we came. The beers were delicious, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the patio was perfect for kicking back on a nice fall day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My parents took me to check out a new to me brewery. This location is in a neighborhood and if I lived nearby, I could totally see myself stumbling back and forth! They have a super nice patio and the interior is huge. There's a more traditional bar area and also a dining room. You order beer and food at the counter and then they bring out the food to you. The staff were all friendly and super helpful. They have a variety of beer and whiskey. You can get flights or full pours. I tried a bit of everything but I really enjoyed the nitro stout. We started with a toasted ravioli appetizer and they were good. They were crispy and crunchy and paired perfectly with the marinara. I'm a KC girl though and I'm trying to join the STL T-Rav fan base but I'm not fully on board yet. I also tried the shrimp Po'Boy and that was absolutely delicious. It was served with lettuce, tomato, pickle and harissa sauce on a hoagie bun. The shrimp were plentiful and not overcooked. Nice and light and crispy. The bun was soft but sturdy and held up to the condiments. I'd definitely order this again. It came with fries and they were good but average. The sandwich definitely overshadowed the other food items. If you're ever in the area pop in and have some yummy food and beers.

The wings and apps were good. The beer is just mid. Nice variety and full bar. Have been here twice. Might be back.

Admittedly, I am not a beer connoisseur, but I certainly was impressed by the Bourbon selection! Knobb Creek was my choice for the evening and thank goodness, they offer Coke products. Started off with an order of Cheese Curds w/Ranch for the table. These were very tasty and a generous portion. The Ranch was tasty as well. I later ordered the Fish Tacos and Chicken Quesadilla to round out the meal. The Fish Tacos were crispy and had a nice flavor, but the fish was chopped into pieces and the corn tortilla was stale on the edges, had to pick that off. Chicken Quesadilla was enjoyable, seasoned well with a touch of heat and served with sour cream and salsa. The reason for the 2 star was due to the gnat issue near one end of the bar, which I'd definitely request they take care of that post haste. Had it not been for that, this place a solid 3.

Try Shortleaf if you're a local craft brew fan! Perfect spot for Happy hour M-F 3-6p. Plenty of their signature crafts to try and discounted HH apps. PLUS Monday is $5 Smashburger (& fresh cut fries) nite with your pint order!! Super casual, relaxing atmosphere in this local brewery, with friendly bartenders and tasty pub fare. Come early to get a good bar stool or grab a high-top table; or check out their patio on a nice day. Overall solid 4.0+ rating for my experience for quality brews, food and service. Pint cost ~$6-7 and expect food ~$10-15pp; but worthwhile to check out HH menu board and definitely Monday burger special! They also offer weekend brunch specials. Met a friend for HH here, and enjoyed a couple IPA pints plus their Monday Burger special, YUM! Loved the tender and flavorful Smash-burger with fresh natural cut fries! And I got out with tab under $20, but added a good tip for the excellent and friendly bar service!! Based on my experience, I'll be back again soon! Cheers, ENJOY!!

First time going to Shortleaf in Winghaven, and I could tell it was definitely a local spot in a subdivision area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Spacious outside and inside seating with a view of the beer brewing room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely recommend looking at the menu ahead of time because it was a bit awkward ordering at the bar. Food was good but I like my fries a little more crispy and wish I had more sauce for the sandwich.

Petrichor is the old name. They have since changed their name to short leaf. There was some legalities to it. I was recommended to this place from a friend and it did not disappoint! If the weather had been better, I would have loved to eat outside. They had a nice patio. We got the giant pretzels and cheese to share. I got the chicken tenders and fries and my husband got a burger. All three were phenomenal! The chicken was definitely hand breaded. And the chicken was especially recommended to me. Nice portions and decent price. Can't complain. Now to the BEER! We tried the Brombeier and it was very good. My personal favorite. I also had the afternoon delight. Very refreshing. Parking is street parking in a neighborhood which isn't that bad as long as you're not there at peak.

Man, I wish I lived a lot closer to this brewery, because I would be here every week if I could! The spot was one we discovered as part of burger week, and it did not disappoint! The location was in a really cute little small village area, complete with indoor and outdoor seating, and a wide variety of beers to pick from. We also decided to sample the burgers and fries too. Everything was so good, we didn't have any leftovers after the meal! The staff were extremely friendly, and we sat outside with our pets and kids to enjoy the sun. Everyone was pleased with their selection and the food was good quality and very delicious. I know it is a bit of a drive if you happen to live in the downtown area, but trust me, it is certainly worth it. I also even think they have daily happy hour, as well as different specials on different days. Check out their website for more, and I look forward to being back soon.

The building was huge & we expected impersonal interactions because of that... we were wrong. The gal working was incredibly friendly- as was her husband & the owner of another brewery soon to open that she introduced us to & his friend... so was the couple at the end of the bar. You get the point, there was a great group! I got the Hot Box Cornbread and found it to be a good choice. It suited the weather and there were subtle hints of corn (bread?) & jalapeños. It wasn't overwhelming and went down easily. Obviously, with a closed kitchen, we didn't try any food. We also didn't make it to the distilled spirits, meaning, we gotta do it again!

We did not want to argue with this man any further, as his attitude and lack of knowledge was already frustrating enough. The Manager on duty turned on the lights in the room, and then had the audacity to leave the room, while my boyfriend was left taking chairs off the table so we would have a place to sit. To the owners of Third Wheel Brewing: I am truly saddened and disappointed in the lack of empathy, education, and understanding of individuals who need accommodations, and use service animals. I would HIGHLY recommend you provide additional education and training to your staff about ADA regulations, and the treatment of patrons in relation to such. While at times, certain accommodations are acceptable, this one was isolating and intentionally exclusionary. Please do better.
