It wasn't bad by any means, but nothing we tried really stood out as excellent or memorable either. Everything was just okay. Service and atmosphere were acceptable, but the overall experience didn't leave much of an impression. It's the kind of place that works if you happen to be nearby and want a casual bite or drink, but it's not somewhere we'd actively seek out or go out of our way to visit again. We got two pizzas. A barbecue chicken pizzas and the vampire death wish pizza. They were both really good and we loved the crust. Personally preferred the vampire death wish pizza which had a great cheesy garlic taste. We also got four different beers to try. they were all super unique. Our waitress was super attentive and sweet. She helped answer a lot of our questions and knew a lot about the beers. The gal working was incredibly friendly- as was her husband & the owner of another brewery soon to open that she introduced us to & his friend... so was the couple at the end of the bar. It was our first time in - we bellied up to the bar, where there were drink menus and a food menus for the browsing. We were advised to order at "the window" for food (clever) & did so. (Reviewed separately) The barkeep walked us through some of his favorites. I opted for the orange cream (sour spin) & found it to be absolutely delicious. The beer was nicely balanced, not too sweet or sour & no strange tastes. The hubby was very happy with his as well. We'll certainly stop in next time we're in town to try a few more & maybe grab some cooler beer!
