We recently hired Erie Inspection Services to complete an inspection of a home for which we were…read moreunder contract. From the moment I reached out to schedule to the time I got the report, the entire team was great! I had started the process online through their website late in the evening and didn't finish, and the next morning I received a text from Brooke asking if I had any questions or if she could help in any way. It wasn't a pestering text, but truly a "let me know if I can assist." I used the online tool to see available time slots, but ended up calling Brooke and scheduling directly. I received a reminder text and email the day before which gave me a brief overview of what to expect. When we arrived at the property, our inspector, Joe, was onsite and ready. He walked through what he would be looking for and told us this was our opportunity to ask any questions, and look through everything in great detail, which we may not have done on our initial walk-through. The crawlspace was not open by the seller initially, so Joe reached out and coordinated getting that open so it could be inspected. He also mentioned that if he was unable to get in contact with the seller during this time, he would be willing to come back, and do the inspection of the crawlspace when the seller was available. Ultimately he was able to get in touch with the seller and get into the space. When the inspection was over, Joe sat us down to go through area by area, and provide details on what he found. He was very thorough and gave us confidence in what he was reviewing. He didn't sugar coat things, nor did he make them sound worse then they were. He was very even in his delivery and in the comments he documented. Joe is prompt and getting the inspection report completed and we had it in our inbox for review within 6 hours. We had a few questions after reviewing the comments and Joe had no problem responding to our questions after hours to ensure we understood everything. I would certainly recommend Erie Inspection Services to anyone looking for an inspection.

My husband and I wanted to visit and to see what plans and designs they had to offer. We met with Brian Nelson at the Cygnet site. He was incredible to work with. His professionalism, pride and attentiveness to what we were looking for was amazing. Just by talking with him initially on the phone and sharing our wants in a new home he presented us with a home plan that was a great template to start with. After our second meeting, he was able to then create a custom home to our very liking. He was never pushy. He always kept our plans in mind. It was an incredible experience. No wonder we decided to go with Schumacher Homes. Update one year later Aug. 2023 Just as Aaron Mahan promised, Schumacher came back out 1 year later to our home and addressed every single area of concern that we had. They repaired nail pops, corner beads, imperfections of any kind. They are top notch. They repainted the repaired areas. And even Culley, our Schumacher Warranty Repair Rep, cleaned my fan blades while he was putting a finishing touch on our wooden beam. (See photo) They brought out the very best 3rd party dry wall/painter.... Mark Lewandowski is awesome. Culley and Mark made this a painless and even great experience. NEVER did they look down on one of our needs. They were like "Give it to us!! If you want to build and you want the care after the build, then Schumacher is the builder with integrity, the professionalism, the skill and the follow through you're looking for. Our Schumacher Contractor during the build was Brian Arbaugh. I cannot begin to thank him enough for pretty much holding our hand through the entire process. His professionalism and integrity went above and beyond. Thank you Aaron Mahan for the incredible patients and follow through since we moved into our home back in August 2022. You have orchestrated so much on our behalf and we are profoundly grateful. Had a house built from them 5 years ago from this location and since then have had problems since…read morethe beginning... original sump pump never worked flooded our basement before we even moved in. Leaking faucets.... leaking pipes which caused to drip onto finished ceiling and start growing mold. When it rains hard water comes in back door handle... seals around front door and back door are poor quality already coming off after the first year... on a windy day you can feel and hear the wind come through. And the upstairs is at least 5-10 degrees different then the main level. Very cheap homes and would not recommend to anyone.

But ear this week my husband called them…read moreto see if they could come pick up the stuff leftover from my parents estate sale. the owner was very nice and accommodating, said they would be happy to help and would be there that night around 6. never showed and didn't call, until my husband texted to find out what happened. owner called him back and apologized, but had a crazy day and fell asleep, but they could come then or tomorrow at 6, we said, no worries, but tomorrow is fine. The next day they were also a no show and no text or call as to what happened. My husband texted and told her he was very disappointed. She called at 10:30pm and left a message that they had an emergency come up, but could come and get the stuff right then and there. At 10:30 pm. We are very understanding people, but a quick text would have gone a long way in getting you a good review. My husband did not return her call. So my elderly parents, had to take the stuff to the goodwill, who has some young kid who doesn't want to do his job, watch them struggle to get the stuff into the cart. Do better by your customers.

Once there we took a drive thu the downtown city streets. It was a windy fall day on a Saturday, and it looked like a ghost town. We pulled up our Yelp app and did a search of antiques shops. Once you get outside of the city antiques tend to become far less pricier. Our yelp search pulled up only 1.. Woods Antiques. With the help of google maps, we were driving to it, then past it, and then back towards it. The shop sits in the middle of a sports bar & large local drug store. From the road and without gps guidance it's easy to miss. Upon entering we were greeted with a smile, and asked if we were looking for anything. We weren't. The inside was as small as it looked, very cramped. The items inside we're of fair value, clean and priced well. However the store did leave us with wanting more. After are ramming thu the stores goods, we asked it there was any local bakery's or coffee shop. There were, we ended our windy fall small country town day with coffee in hand, and back to our big city lives.
