I have never experienced an Estate Sale where the company hired treated customers in such an ill manner. Only a few items were priced and waited in line for 40 minutes to be given prices that were ridiculously overpriced. The comments being "how long would you wait at Walmart". Witnessed the estate sale company being very rude, loud and insulting. They are not professional at all. Hiring them to run a sale for you from what I saw would not be in your favor. We recently contracted Cleveland Estate Liquidators to help clear my mother's home after her move to an independent living facility. I was thoroughly disappointed with Jessica, the owner. I found her to be deceitful, dishonest and thoroughly disagreeable. Her approach appears to follow three basic steps: (a) assert that there is nothing in the house that will sell for much, (b) sell items for far more than she claims to have sold them for, and (c) provide a fictitious, understated accounting of what was sold. She grudgingly provided the accounting only after I pressed her for it, and even then it was incomplete and misleading. On the day following conclusion of the sale (which Jessica ended early so she could tend to her dog), my family and I began to donate the remaining items to local charities: Savers, the Cleveland Furniture Bank and a group of Syrian refuge families we had met day after the estate sale. When I asked questions about the amounts for which various items items had been sold, Jessica's response via text was "you're giving things away and you question the prices of items I sold?" Donating items to a worthy cause once the sale has contractually ended is my prerogative. Getting an honest and accurate accounting of all items Cleveland Estate Liquidators sold is my right. Further, Jessica removed small oriental rugs after the sale claiming that she had a client who might be interested in purchasing them. Days later, I realized that she had neither returned them nor confirmed their sale. When I inquired, she said she could possibly sell them for $20. It defies business logic that Jessica would go to the trouble of taking the rugs and selling them to a client in order to net roughly $7. More importantly, I have written confirmation that two large oriental rugs were sold for three times the amount she provided, and that a set of deck furniture sold for five times the price Jessica acknowledged. Based on my experience, this woman preys on families who are in the midst of major life upheavals. A death or change in the living situation of a loved one is often the reason for an estate sale or liquidation. It would be an extreme understatement to say that being dealt with in this manner, during a truly daunting family moment, is very hard to accept. My experience with Jessica entangled me with a person who, in my opinion, is simply mean-spirited, combative and untrustworthy. UNPROFESSIONAL/RUDE/SLOPPY. The woman running the sale literally PHYSICALLY HIT ME. She told me $50 for a set of shelves. Then she priced up my other items off the top of her head (nothing was priced) and gave me my total price. As I was getting my cash out she goes "just for fun I am going to take a picture of the shelves to see how much they are worth." She sees they are valuable online and says she no longer can give them to me for the price we had agreed on. I asked for her name and the name of the company she worked for and she said "why, so you can leave a bad review?" Then she started taking pictures of me on her phone. She said "I will post your picture if you leave a review." I took my phone out to take a picture of her then in return and she HIT MY HAND AND WRIST HARD. I left as fast as I could and my elderly mother who was with me left behind me and they slammed the door on her heel. I reported her to the police. She also referred to her client, the person's home it was, as a hoarder and I could overhear her associates talking about someone who was having medical issues such as "anal bleeding." Which I didn't think was appropriate to talk about for customers to hear. I have never witnessed such unprofessionalism and wish I could leave 0 stars. She also gave out a fake name and I see a few bad reviews with names that she then comments and says "we don't have anyone with that name." Also, I see her unprofessionalism continues with her responses to her reviews. She tries to intimidate and insult people rather than comment something professional. If I could give negative amount of stars I would. The woman running the sale is so lazy, nothing is priced. She looks the item up to see what it's worth. Also, she makes up prices of merchandise, friends of mine got a great deal on a bunch of stuff because she underpriced. DO NOT USE THEM TO SELL YOUR STUFF, you'll get screwed. read more

Attended two of their sales two days in a row. Both were horrible experiences. At the first sale, their staff was literally looking up prices on eBay when customers were inquiring the cost of items. Four customers were asking prices as 2 staff members were looking up items on their phones. Maybe put a little effort into your business and do some research prior to the sale. The next day, I went to another one of their sales and the staff was completely unprofessional. The child of one of the staff members was sleeping on the couch in the middle of the sale. I heard who I believe is the owner of this company refer to a customer as "Lorain County trash". I was not once acknowledged until I was leaving, when I was asked what was in my hands- it was my own wallet, my own phone and my own keys! When I responded to the accusation in an admittedly rude tone, the staff member made a comment that I wouldn't talk to her like that if I knew she wasn't from a good part of town. Wow!
