She gave me the price of $32 for 20 wings, which I was taken back by but hey inflation is real, huh? We got the terriyaki wings and suicide hit with garlic! I'm glad I didn't let the price change my mind! These wings were hitting. I actually ordered the suicide hot, but the teriyaki were my favorite. Ken is a scumbag who takes advantage of his employees, he creates a hostile work environment and is known to be incredibly racist when drunk which is often. food was good, unfortunately if you search their history of health inspections you probably wont want to eat there. Food was great! Service was awful. Staff was unfriendly and uninterested in serving you. They seemed to have an attitude with their approach. Another time I ordered take out and I called in several times with my out of town area code and they refused to answer. Someone else called with a different area code and they answered within the 2nd ring. I thought it was a freak thing until it happened more than once!!!! The beer is cold, the food is good, I had the new Patty melt with fries, they serve seasoned fries. The burger was done perfectly, seasoned and covered with onions. They were very busy outside on their big patio with full bar and food, but, I had a server checking regularly and I was inside so I say the service is fine. We have found the cool hangout spot! The outside bar at Shotz. Also, shout out to Sami, the most fun bartender, ever! Their food is also great. He had bbq wings. I had the cheese quesadillas and for 1.50 upgraded to add peppers, onions and mushrooms. The cook here really knows what he's doing! Wife & I live blocks from Shotz and have been there many times over the years & always on football sunday. Since the remodel, it was so nice that we decided we wanted it to be our weekly go-to hang out. But every time we go in, we sit under the patio unbrella & are ignored. The staff always seem to be having fun behind the bar but are slow to come out to the tables. Last time was the last time as we waited over 35min for a waitress, ordered, then waited another 35min for wings. Wings were good but at $29/20 wings, I didnt expect to get 19 wings. We went to watch football and get lunch. What an awful experience. Never got our lunch after one and a half hours. Had to go down the street. Said the cook didn't show up, but saw her in the dining room. Got overcharged for a bucket of beer. All we ordered was a burger and 10 wings! Others got their food before us. Shotz is a laid back environment to sit down and have a drink in. My favorite nights to go are Sundays and Mondays, because those are the karaoke nights. Karaoke starts at 9pm, and stops at close (2am). It's super fun to get up there and make an idiot out of yourself!!! But everyone is really nice and tells you you do a good job, even if you stink, so it's a great ego booster, too! They have a ladies night on Thursdays, where ladies get all they can drink from 8pm-11pm, beer or wells. Some nights they have stand up comedians. Some nights they have dancing competitions. More like 2.5 stars. Went there in January 2019 I think. Bar is/was no smoking now, which being a non smoker, I like very much. Unfortunately I was the only one there at the time. Everyone else was outside in the smoking area. There was a sign on the bar telling to go outside to order. Fortunately, an older lady was cooking and chatted me up and cooked up some good food. The server, when she came in, did act like I was an annoyance by being inside and not outside with everyone else. It also appeared the owner/manager was a little peeved at the lady cooking for taking my order. She was the best part of the whole visit. On the many occassions i went there against my better judgement ive had the same experience. The bartenders are snobby and rude. They act like you are bothering them when you order a drink, interrupting. A conversation with their friends. If they dont like your choice of music on the jukebox they will turn it off. (this coming from a bar that has a DJ that after he gets drunk thinks "who let the dogs out" constitutes good music. ) if you wanna feel like youre back in your highschool cafeteria except everyone is racist and drunk then this is the bar for you!
