We went to Busters for a trivia event and it was okay. We were a little underwhelmed by our experience but I would be willing to go again for happy hour, in case this was just an off night. It was a little pricey for what it was worth at full price. There was plenty of seating and the decor was nice walking in. They had a great selection of beers and drinks and although it was after 6pm, the happy hour menu looked strong! We settled for a glass of wine, old fashioned, and a beer on draft. We waited about 10 minutes for our drinks although things didn't seem to have picked up yet. The service was consistently a little slow throughout the night after that, probably due to the crowd. Our server recommended the Philly steak spring rolls. They were crispy but the inside was wet with hot oil and a little bland. I would not recommend this dish. We also ordered the Bavarian pretzel which was a classic soft pretzel, to be expected. The mustard it was served with was delicious. Lastly we also tried the buster burger which was a little soggy but the bacon jam was flavorful, a good addition. We appreciated the friendly service at Busters and hopeful to have a better experience next time we visit! read more

Always have a really good experience at Buster's! We've been catching some soccer games there this season, they'll play premier League games across the bar and on a big screen. And we watched the World Cup final there this weekend. Service is always attentive and quick, and everyone is incredibly friendly. They had a special menu for the World Cup this weekend, which still featured some of our favorites, including their cheeseburger and big pun pretzel. I got a hot dog with sauerkraut and it was delicious. Their fries are always perfect! Price is a little high for food, but beer is well priced and they have an absolutely bananas selection from all over. read more

Loved the decor in here. I could tell it was an Irish pub just by the furnishing, so they hit the nail on the head with that. I got the absinthe mule and it was really tasty and unique. It tasted just like licorice, so a bit of a burst of flavor surprise there. I'm not a huge licorice fan personally, but I still enjoyed the novelty of the drink. This was a nice stop over while in Sanford. There were only two people working the chef and the bar tender so our party of 5 on a Sunday evening was a lot. There were out of many menu items. Overall it was ok for bar food. The poutine fries were pretty good, very clumpy melted cheese on the top, the French dip, however, was just roast beef with no flavor and melted mozzarella cheese. Going here on a Monday, the place was dead, and I mean "shouldn't be open on Monday's" kind of dead. Thus, if you have trouble getting in on the weekend, maybe try another day. Inside, the atmosphere is fun. The food is okay, the Rodeo burger was worthwhile but the fries someone else had at the table were kind of limp. Service was great though! Definitely a very generic pub. They were missing a lot of things that were on the menu which made ordering a little difficult. They are one of those few places open past 8 PM and Sanford so there aren't too many other options if you're looking to go late. Our server was good, but definitely had a lot on her plate. read more

Visited for lunch on Wednesday afternoon because I knew they had $10 lunch deals and a large quantity of different beers on tap. COLIN was behind the bar. I asked him about a couple of recommendations and he was quick with his knowledge and his recommendation was delicious. For lunch I had a Swiss burger (not on the special list) and it was perfectly cooked, I paired it with a truffle fries, which was yummy. Yummy yummy. I tried a different selection of dark beer for my second and that was equally as smooth and delicious. Being a Wednesday afternoon it was quiet, just a couple of the customers in for a late lunch and a drink but there was plenty of seating for what I'm sure. Are they crazy times. We came here for game night hosting. It was Mario kart race night. My boys including hubby enjoyed the playful competition. It's free to play and they had gift card prizes. The atmosphere felt a bit more for adults though. There was other kids there and I got the fam friends vibes on this night just get the feeling it would not be like that always. It's been eons since we last visited Buster's - going back to when Buster owned and operated this former good eats restaurant. Based on our lousy service and our terrible meal, it hasn't been nearly long enough. The food was miserable. How hard can it be to make crisp french fries? And the 'fish' in our fish and chips order was a complete mystery. And did we really have to ask for silverware and a plate? Twice? Tasteless food of questionable quality served incompetently earns the Triple Crown of a just flat-out bad dinner. To be polite, the bartender was a simpleton. He ignored not just us, but also the folks next to us - all of us who were sitting directly in front of him for 20 minutes without acknowledgement nor any eye contact in a mostly empty bar. No wonder there were no customers - combining his complete dearth of service and the trash food being served, it isn't a surprise why this place was empty on a Friday night. We miss Buster. Please take his name off the building. He would never serve the crap that was put in front of us. And Percy woulda run that loser masquerading as a bartender off faster than the diarrhea that hit us when we got home. read more

Surprisingly good for a very unassuming place. This bistro is on one of the main streets and I think most people come here to grab a cocktail or two, yet the food is really good not just by Sanford standards, but the Orlando area as a whole. I come here a few times and eaten, and never had a complaint. Furthermore, the food has always been great. The burgers are great, the wings are great also. There is a very well curated beer bottle menu, and other drinks are available. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is on top of everything. I hope this place stays as laid back as it is, but if it blows up, good for them. Well deserved. read more

I can't speak doll for the food but the selection of delicious Belgian beers is pure perfection and the service is always quick and friendly. It's a cute, dark little bar so I prefer it at night but it's also great for cooling down when bouncing around Sanford. read more

We came here for trivia night on a Thursday. It was very quiet and the menu featured items that weren't cheap. We ordered two beers and were wondering if we should get the poutine, but the party we joined said it wasn't great. We opted out. They had a wide beer selection and some good deals on cocktails. Now the bad, any cook, chef or restaurant buyer that would serve a sandwich with a white tomato needs to be sat down by the gm and asked who bought this tomato, who did we buy it from and why did you serve it? Just tell me we don't have good produce so we can make it without that produce or I recommend something else. The men's bathrooms smelt horrible and the urinals we're build up with calcium and was the contributor of the smell. This place is amazing! We walked in and our server made us feel right at home. It is cozy and welcoming. Then we started eating, and everything we ordered was so good! We had truffle fries, croque monsieur, the salmon platter and bananas foster sugar waffles. And we had the poutine. Please try the poutine. It was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. On the road traveling, we wanted a place to watch the Lion's game. Buster's Bistro checked all our boxes - sports bar, cool beer selection, (& lots of them!), friendly bartender & the cook even brought out our food, so we had a chance to thank him. Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere. I think the locals come here. My mushroom Swiss burger was great, & I skipped the frites & went with a vegetable - best decision as I got the sprouts! What happened to this place? They used to be pretty good but Sunday's brunch was just awful! I thought I was treating myself to steak and eggs but it was like throwing 50 bucks away!! Rubbery ribeye and runny eggs. Not good. I couldn't eat them. Hell, could barely cut the steak! Same for the chicken. Rubbery and flavorless like it was flash fried boiled chicken in unseasoned batter. Both were accompanied with unseasoned heat lamp home fries. And nothing spells mediocrity more than that. Meh. We should have left after entertaining a big fat fly and a few fruit flies or gnats, I'm not an etymologist, but Florida; so we put up with it but shouldn't have. We walked over from our Airbnb Monday, March 10th around 8 pm. We had just ate at Dixie Crossroads to celebrate my dad's birthday so didn't try any of the food. Our bartender was Cassandra G and she was friendly, funny and professional. I had the chardonnay and hubby a Lorraine Blond and a Carlsberg beer. We have lived in Sanford for years and never thought to drop by here for lunch, but really saw it as just a bar. I urge you to get past the bar feel and come on in because we were pleasantly surprised. We came in on a mid morning Saturday and grabbed a Bloody Mary to start. After a bit we decided on the poutine and ham croque monsieur. We enjoyed both. While there we also saw the burger, chicken and waffles, and also a couple of the breakfast waffles at another table, which also looked delicious. The portions are very generous, so come in hungry and ready to relax. My only negative would be to mention that from the outside we weren't quite sure if they were open and did see one couple come by, then turn and leave. I am so glad we saw the staff put out the sign on the sidewalk as we were dining, so it was easier to see they are open. We weren't quite sure pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back to try that burger and the waffles:) read more

Met some friends for lunch before they got on the Amtrak Auto train to Virginia. They had me when I read the menu for the fresh cut french fries. But better than that the toasted brussel sprouts were fabulous. They have an awesome selection of draft beers. Only had one but maybe the next time there I can try more. read more

A nice spot in Sanford for brunch. The Brussel sprouts were crunchy and the dipping sauce was really good. The board was good as well I really liked the sausage and spicy mustard, the brie was cold and should have been room temp. The meats were good except the mortadella ~ bologna with fat and almonds is a pass for me . We didn't like the pork belly it was very thick and dried out . Should've went with the steak tips on that one. The prices were pretty high we felt . 9-12$ drinks and the food was about 15$ each appetizer. Solid Bistro Burger here at Buster's during my first visit for brunch on a (very) rainy Saturday. Buster's - a Sanford staple - is a huge bar with ample seating and plenty of screens to get your game on. Lots of imported beer on tap and - although not my beverage preference - I can see why patrons would be comfortable whiling away hours here. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. My one complaint? They overcharged me by $1 for my burger (menu said $15 - bill read $16). But that burger was delicious and I got a free refill on my soda. Good service here, too. At the bar, my server was attentive and my food was delivered fast and served hot. I was in and out in roughly 30 minutes after demolishing my meal. Next time, though, I'll just be sure to double-check my bill. read more

We truly loved this place! We went on a Friday night around 6pm, the restaurant was pretty dead but we could tell that this place gets pretty busy later in the evening and especially when its better weather! The bartenders and servers here are very funny and sarcastic which is my cup of tea. They were welcoming and attentive to our needs. They had CBD products here which was unique to me as they sold CBD rolled joints and CBD infused drinks. I had a CBD infused lavender vodka drink which was delicious! Not pictured here, but we ordered a tomato soup with grilled cheese which was just like my mom used to make at home when I was a kid. After dinner, we took our CBD joint and smoked it outside and talked to the person who grew the CBD. She was amazingly pleasant and we got to see their outside area which was very well maintained and looked fun to be in when it wasn't bad weather! A large group that had walked in just before Trivia started, was receiving their food before we received ours. Our food took almost an hour. Only one waitress to cover the whole restaurant. While visiting Orlando for my friend's birthday, I was dining like a local. I recommend taking a detour to Sanford, which is usually out of the way if you are going to the parks. You can avoid the tourist crowds and get a great meal. I ordered the ham and cheese Benedict. It was different from your traditional eggs Benedict and it was delicious. It came with a sunny side up egg, ham, tomato, and smothered in Stella beer cheese. The home fries on the side were also perfectly crispy. They also had a great deal on bottomless mimosas. My friends told me it is also a great place to watch sports with a great beer menu.
