Located in the food court off Main Street. They are set to open a store in the same strip mall. I stop by here for the lunch special which is a combo of the hotpot and a tea. The staff was friendly and efficient. My food came out pretty quickly. I got the beef hotpot with ramen medium spicy. The soup was tasty on a cod day. The broth is flavorful with just the right amount of spice. It was refreshing to wash down lunch with the passion fruit green tea.

Overall just decent. They have the 老式麻辣烫but didn't taste like it. The bbq was just ok.

Good portion and flavor! Perfect for a chill day. I didn't know how to order at the beginning because you couldn't pick up the ingredients by yourself. The staff were also patient and helpful.

I've picked up from Show Hotpot via DoorDash more times than I can count -- mostly because the combo meal is such an easy go-to. And it's close to my work! You choose a protein (I always go with lamb), and it comes with a great variety of goodies: napa cabbage, spinach, spam, potato, tofu, fish balls, plus rice or noodles (glass noodles are my fave), and a drink -- either their milk tea or soda. The price is solid for the amount of food you get, and the set makes it super convenient when you're craving hot soup but don't have time to build a custom order. Spice levels are adjustable, and I usually go for the spiciest -- sometimes it hits, sometimes it's more mellow than expected, but still flavorful. I've been loyal to this spot for a while and honestly would rate it a 3.5. Not spectacular, but does the job for hotpot fix. I have noted that it isn't as cleanly compared to past visits. Take it with a grain of salt though, cause I'm usually in and out! II haven't personally had a bad experience, but I'm cautious enough now that I've been considering exploring other options. I also have minimal interaction with the staff as well. Would still recommend for a quick, comforting pick-up if you're in a rush.

Our first time here at Show Hotpot. It is located inside the food court right now, but it seems to have a new location with a store. The restaurant is simple. You can pick a combo which has preset hotpot with a drink or make your own. We decided to make it our own. You can select as many items as you want and they will weigh it at the end. It's $13.99 per lb. Pretty standard pricing. They have several different brothers. I've tried the traditional beef bone broth and tomato broth. I recommend the traditional broth. Overall, I liked my broth and enjoyed my hotpot. It's individual hotpot, so each person can pick your own favorite ingredients. The tomato broth is so so. It will be great if it has a store instead of locating inside the food court. All the stores didn't open on the weekend, which looks deserted.

Show Hotpot has quickly become a standout destination in Irvine for anyone who values authentic flavor and true attention to detail. The space is bright, impeccably clean, and welcoming -- a reflection of the pride and care the team brings to everything they do. The star of the experience is unquestionably the broth. It's rich, layered, and deeply aromatic -- the kind of home cooked base that carries real depth rather than just heat. Every spoonful reveals balance and craftsmanship, a reminder of each province's traditional hot pot / malatang done right. Equally impressive are the ingredients. From crisp mountain jelly vegetables to tender meats and fried skewers, nothing feels mass-produced or rushed. The chicken chops bring you back to childhood and you can tell quality sourcing is a priority here through items like duck blood and quail egg, making all the difference in both texture and flavor. Service at Show Hotpot is as memorable as the food. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, offering the kind of hospitality that feels personal rather than transactional. Their small gestures and thoughtful touches, including the little gifts they share, add a sense of warmth and connection that's rare. For the level of quality, authenticity, and freshness delivered here, the prices remain remarkably reasonable. Show Hotpot achieves what so few restaurants manage during economic inflation -- an honest, refined, and deeply satisfying dining experience that sets a new standard for hotpot and malatang in the entire Orange County.

I was craving for Chinese soup so i was happy this place was near by. It's a food stand in a food court setting. It's Saturday night but it was very quiet. Only a few restaurants were open. We got to order our food right away. There were not as many items to choose from as with other places that I visited. The sliced beef was very fatty, you could barely see any lean meat. The soup was tasty but way too oily for my taste. Unfortunately, we got tummy ache that night because the food didn't agree with us. The price per pound was the same as other places. I wouldn't go back again.

Baby cockroach In my hotpot -- health department pls!!
    Amanda H.

Health department please step in. So unfortunate. I've eaten at this restaurant for 2 years almost weekly (at least biweekly). I'd say of the past 2+ years, I've gotten 4 bugs in my food. This one was the worst because I'm pretty certain this is a baby cockroach. I was a few bites into my hotpot before I noticed the bug and took it out to look at it better to make sure it actually was a bug. The food here is incredible but there's no way this restaurant is up to health code standards. Today when I went to pick up my order, the lady handed me my food from behind the counter and immediately started screaming and stomping looking at the floor. Someone from the back came running to the front with raid, so this tells me they are aware they have a bug problem but are still serving customers. I lost my appetite and just poured the rest of my dinner down the sink drain. I couldn't eat another bite knowing a cockroach was cooking in my soup. I understood the first time thinking it was just a strange situation but 4 bugs over a 2 year span? They'll be losing me and my family as one of their long time repeat customers. Hopefully the health department will force them to be up to health standards. Sad.

I was craving hotpot but also wanted to stay in, so scrolled on DoorDash and came across this spot. I ordered a mild beef combo with milk tea and side of sauces and green onions. I love how it came in a sealed container for safety purposes and it kept the meal hot! It had all the ingredients I really liked already. I do wish I ordered a medium over a mild; I thought that it would be very spicy with mild. Portions are great, and I saved half for another meal. The milk tea was decent, and it tasted more like tea than milk which is my preference. Overall, satisfied with the meal and for hotpot takeout / delivery, I'd give it an A+.

I loveee show hotpot! It is the perfect to-go meal that is also open late at night. It is also wayy cheaper than other hot pot places depending how much you add to your bowl. Hot pot is one of my favs & when I discovered Show Hotpot, it became a new staple for me in Irvine. Using their online ordering system is ideal for fast pick up. I always get a create your own, medium spicy. They do not mess around with their spice here & you will feel the after effects of the spice a few hours after eating this lol. I usually add beef slices, nappa cabbage, baby bok choy, tofu, & spinach and it is around $11. (It gets pricier the more items you add) I always ask for garlic & mix ponzu with it once I am home! Highly recommend trying this place out if you are a hot pot lover!

After Pilates, my boyfriend and I stopped by this spot, and wow, the broth here is insanely delicious! It's flavorful, comforting, and hits all the right notes. I may have been a little too excited because I burned my tongue The sides were great, too. the sesame balls were crispy and not overly sweet, and the fried chicken and pork were so good. The portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. I can't wait to come back again but it's so far

A standout dish was the pork pancake, which was layered almost like a savory crepe. The exterior was crispy and slightly oily. Plenty of flavor packed into each bite mmm I also ordered the spicy sauerkraut lamb hot pot. It comes with flames & reminded me a bit of Boiling Point. Lots of napa cabbage in the broth. The lamb was excellently fatty... tender and soft! I've recently had another hot pot place with lean lamb so this was on point. Portions were generous and the price felt very reasonable. My favorite dish of the meal was the fatty beef with scallions. The beef was indeed fatty and rich flavor, with what I think was a nice subtle Shaoxing wine or cooking wine flavor. The natural sweetness of the onions balanced the savory, salty sauce nicely.

We've been here several times before and what keeps us coming back is the quality of the food. Today, they had a new chef cook our food and it was terrible. Green beans were extremely sour (way way too much vinegar). Mapo Tofu had a ton of oil but not enough sauce, so it was just flavorless except the oil. The fried pork chop was over fried where some pieces you can't even bite through. The rice had too much water in it and was mushy. I rarely return food but this time it was so bad we had to let them know. We returned all of our dishes back to them. They let us know there was a new chef today, and they would remake all the dishes for us with the original chef. The replacement dishes were just as good as all our previous visits and it was excellent again! So thanks to the staff for fixing the problem. I'm not sure if they are training a new chef to take over, or as a backup, but they need to be careful as serving bad quality food like that would drive most people to never come back. We knew the food was good from prior experience, so we knew we could ask why the food quality changed. For first time customers, or those that may have ordered to go - if you had bad food today, it may have been a fluke due to the new chef. Service however was a amazing as usual. For all our visits including today, the staff has been kind and always looking for ways to help out and make sure we were having a good experience. So besides the food being good, I would say excellent service is also huge plus here. Don't be fooled with the automated ordering and robot delivering the food into thinking there is no service. The people behind the counter are awesome! Hope management takes care of this new chef issue quickly since their food quality is the main reason people come here. There was a night and day difference between the original food we got today, and the replacement!

It had been a couple of months since we were last there and my parents and my daughter had been asking to go back and were really looking forward to eating there. However, we were so disappointed when we went back 2 weeks ago! The menu changed a bit, which was fine, and all our usual dishes were still there. We did notice that the cooks have changed and the original Cantonese chef was not there. I think the kitchen staff really changed how the flavors of the dishes for the worst. My 7yo daughter used to love their shrimp fried rice, but as soon as the fried rice came out, the first thing she said was "how come it looks so different from before." Not only did it look different, it was BURNT. It was like they fried the rice in a burnt wok so every grain of rice was coated in tiny black burnt bits. It was essentially inedible. They also just topped the rice with some tastless blanched shrimp instead of actually stir frying the shrimp into the rice. The green onion pancake used to be flakey with layers and expectedly oily for this dish, but the pancake we got this time was essentially a tasteless tortilla. It literally looked and tasted like a tortilla. No layers, flakes or oil at all and was the worst green onion pancake I've ever had anywhere. The fish with black bean sauce was acceptable, but it was definitely not the same. It tasted more like American Chinese flavors instead of the previous authentic Cantonese flavors. The only dish that I thought was still good was the stir fried eggplants, although my parents said it also tasted more Americanized. We are so sad that the food here has changed so much and it was one of the rare places my Cantonese dad actually said tasted authentically Cantonese in the area. The restaurant was full during our latest vist but we did notice that 90% of the diners and people ordering take-out were non-Asians. When we came previously, there was a good mix of Asian and non-Asian diners, so it seems like the clientele have shifted, which might explain the flavor changes or vice versa. The staff is still very nice and friendly, but it seems like the robot server has been laid off. I don't think we will be coming back again unfortunately as the food is no longer what we loved before. However, they seemed to still be doing well so others must still like it.

The restaurant itself is a bit on the small side so you'll be close to your neighbors not that it was an issue personally. My buddy and I ordered our items and shared with each other for a good full experience. We got the three-in-one noodles medium heat and the Ma Hu Beef noodles with mild heat alongside the cucumbers with medium heat as an appetizer. Cucumbers were very fresh! However, they really were just cucumbers with a little heat on them so they weren't anything too special. Once the main entrees came in, I couldn't stop myself from digging in! I forgot to take a picture until after some damage was done to our meals. Three-in-one was so flavorful and sweet with the noodles becoming incredibly soft after having mixed it all together. The star of the show for me though was the Ma Hu Beef noodles. The beef was remarkably tender and delicious and the noodles had a firmer texture that complimented with the flavors. Oddly enough, the mild heat on the Ma Hu Beef was spicier than the medium heat three-in-one! If you find yourself in the mood for Biangbiang noodles, this is definitely the spot to go to. On a side unrelated note about the parking which did not influence my review; the parking here is rough. It's consistently packed so watch out for that. There is a structure across the street that allows parking for the food court. I parked in the structure but I had a bad experience because since it's also parking for the residents above, the gate was closed on us after 8pm. I had to wait for a vehicle to come out and open the gate for not only just me but for multiple other people that had also parked in the structure!Just something to keep in mind. Met with friends from all over So Cal for an event down South. After the event our friend found a…read morenoodle house in Santa Ana, odd find location but lets go ... Massive parking lot so that was easy, one friend went ahead and let them know we had 10 incoming. They made room and we sat immediately. One of the spots that you scan a menu at the table and you review, order and pay all in the app. I was really not familiar with the line up and went with the "House Special Beef Pot Roodle" (Roodles are their rice noodles). It was a weekend only item and I tried that. The noodles came separate from the soup. Over all it was very tasty. The meat was a bit fatty and the soup had tendons too. I took that part home and my wife loved it. I tend to avoid the fatty meat and tendons are not good to me. 10 of us so some of the appetizers got passed around. The smashed cucumbers are excellent, and my buddy also got some friend potatoes of sorts, reminded me of a fat French fry. Because my buddy and I sat at the same table we scanned the same menu, he ordered a bunch of stuff and also House Special Beef Pot Roodle. That confused the kitchen and they asked me if I meant to order 2, I said no and didn't realize I cancelled my buddy's order. Part of the confusion of a large party and many scanned menu orders. My buddy was struggling to order and our initial waiter seemed to not understand my friend and that took a little bit to work out, young lady came from the back and was able to quickly resolve some of the confusion and get questions answered as needed. In the end he had lot of food to explore. One thing that caught my eye was several couples there and sharing a large soup item served with a tray of various food items for the soup. Kind of a date night visual and something that looked very interesting. Several couples around us had that same dish and its got me more curious. Might have to come back with my wife and try this one.

I decided to give this place a try because I heard their noodles were very authentic, and as…read moresomeone who loves noodles, I was excited to try it. I ordered their most popular dish, the A1 set, but honestly, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The broth tasted pretty underseasoned overall. From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. Nothing really stood out to me enough to return, and it felt more like a one-time experience. Overall, everything was just okay.
