Food selection was limited. Broth choices were also minimal. They made so much broth that it drowns the solids. You'd have to dive deep to find your food. Service was poor. Our family was next on the queue but yet they made us wait for them to clear space for a party of 14 that was behind us. We waited for a different table while they tried to clear 4 adjacent tables to accommodate for that party. What's the point in having a waiting list and not honoring the process in a systematic way??? They value quantity over the integrity of their business. Also, we attempted to order other items on the menu but they said they couldn't or wouldn't make it because something about being short staffed. When you come to a restaurant for a specific dish and it's not made available, it's rather disappointing; especially if they don't even bother to mark it and you have to realize it after waiting awhile to order at the counter. On another note, there's a poster outside saying that a free dessert was free if you spend $15. We spent over $50 and no one offered or said anything about a dessert. This is false advertisement. You fill up your bowl with proteins, veg, noodles, etc. and pay by weight. My go-to is the signature bone broth and my partner usually gets the tomato, but they also have dry noodle options. There's a sauce bar to make your own concoction and I used to love dipping the wonton chips in the sauce while waiting for my hot pot to be prepared, but it seems like they've stopped giving those out - sad. read more

It wasn't too busy when our party arrived, and only 2 other tables were occupied. The restaurant itself is cozy with minimal decor. Staff gestured to a table, and we were able to walk through the self-serve line fairly quickly. After you put all your ingredients into a bowl, you bring it up to the counter, they weigh it, charge you ($14.99/per pound), and then they cook it for you in your preferred broth. You are handed a number keychain so they know which bowl is yours. While you wait, Staff will bring you water and fried wonton strips. You can mix your own sauce at the station so when your bowl arrives, you can enjoy! What I liked: I was really surprised that they had some adventurous ingredients like tendon, tripe, etc. among the other basic meats and veggies! Always solid choice coming here. We rolled up around 9:30pm and most other restaurants in this complex is closing soon or already closed for the night. I love that you can get as much or as little as you want for $14.99 a pound. I was feeling too hungry so mine was 0.63 lbs while everyone else got about 1 lb each. The signature is so good, rich, just the right amount of spice. My husband likes the tomato. They ran out of the free dessert at that time which was disappointing. Very creamy and tangy with a slight kick, not too spicy. The bowl was huge and so I got to take the rest home and add more things, so it satisfied for 2 meals! I will say there is a slight wait after you give them your bowl to cook. It wasn't that busy when I went and I waited around 10 minutes for my bowl, kinda understandable since they're cooking it after you give it to them. Lots of different types of noodles, which I enjoyed. There are not as many meat options aside from fishcakes and meatballs. The price has always been okay for me since I don't eat too much. If you eat a lot though, I don't recommend coming here since it's weight based. I did not want meat anyway so only took one beef meatball, beef tripe, shrimp, scallops, fish cakes, lobster ball (of course imitation lobster), tofu, a whole bunch of vegetables and some ramen. The veggies were super fresh, nothing looked old or wilted. Very large selection. My broth choice was tom yum. They give you a humongous bowl after they cook your food choices. The tom yum broth needs some work. It was too sour, even after I added several spoonfuls of sugar which, fortunately they also have available on the sauces bar. It also needs more tom yum flavor, and not just the super sourness in the soup base. I love tom yum soup and have eaten a lot of tom yum noodles and soup on my recent trip to the Asia and all my life so that was the first thing I noticed: flavor and taste. Service was great.
