I gave Show-Me's one star because I couldn't rate it any lower. The service was terrible. After waiting more than twenty minutes after coming in for a waitress, we eventually got one after waving one down. Then after another ten minutes we finally received our beers. But the waitress couldn't tell which beer was which. That happened twice. Her comment on the mixed up beers was, "It doesn't matter, they taste the same." One member of our party ordered garlic Parm wings, which she'd ordered here previously. She got an order of regular wings with medium sauce. When she asked the waitress about the order she took it back and brought back the same wings covered in powdered Parmesan cheese. We were told that's how Show-Me's did their garlic parm wings. It's curious that's not the way they were the first time. I'm not sure which is worse....a waitress who should find another occupation or a kitchen staff who should Google how garlic Parm wings are prepared. read more

I've been going here for a couple of years. I go the first weekend of every month. I have continually watched it go down hill. I have emailed the company 3 times with No response. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they have TV's...lol. Last night took the cake. Went in and attempted to order a Mike's hard lemonade...out... Seagram's...out.... Smirnoff...out....anything in a bottle here that's not a typical beer????.......NOPE....OUT.....THEY WERE OUT OF EVERYTHING.....LOL. Their soda on the bar is flat so your mixed drink is awful! The waitress even knew it and said that they pull diet Pepsi from another spot because it's a little bit better but not much. I ordered a regular diet Pepsi with no alcohol in it...no fizzy and it looked like mud. We asked if they could put the fight on that was on a small TV on to a big TV and she said she couldn't approach the acting manager of the night because they get yelled at if they ask him to do anything, so I asked her to see if he could come to my table....when she comes back she said he declined and would get around to "try" and move the fight to the big TV. SMH. so the food. ..last month it was a burger....I couldn't eat it because it was like rubber....last night I thought I will order the grilled chicken salad because how can you f#$k that up....well.....lol.....the lettuce tasted like they poured it straight out of the bag, it had that funky flavor and the chicken was so old that it was crunchy. Is there anywhere else to go in Terre Haute?? I've been looking but all I can find is your typical dive bar.. .I would love to take my money somewhere else. read more

I always come here with my friends and family and today was a horrible visit. My waitress had a bad attitude like she hated her job. The food was half assed and it took forever for my wife and I to get our food. When we got the food my wife's chicken philly was crappy. It wasn't cooked all the way and was cold at that. Saw my waitress twice. Took my order then brought me my bill. 8 dollar lunch shouldn't talk almost an hour. Slow service. Food ok. Nothing to write about. Girls are cute to pretty. Foods great and bartenders are wonderful the servers are the problem. I use to come here every Saturday night after my serving shift. I sat in the booths for almost 20 mins which a group of servers talk and walk by like I didn't exist. Probably didn't want to serve me because I'm a female and the atmosphere is geared toward me. Why wait in a women when you can show your body to a man and get better tips. Had to go to the bar to get any attention. read more

Terrible service! Went there tonight and sat outside for 20 minutes. Waitress finally comes out-sits down with a table of 3 guys and talks for another 10. Looks right at me--then turns around and walks back in. Didn't take my order OR theirs. Bikers beware--especially if you are female and riding alone. They completely ignore you. read more

HOOTER'S KNOCK-OFF The easiest way to describe Show-Me's to an out-of-towner is simply to say it's Terre Haute's knock-off of a Hooter's. The only good thing about this place is the free fish bowl on your birthday. The food is nothing special and you can tell that the microwave is the real cook in the kitchen. The live music is hit and miss, but so far from what've experienced, the bands/artists that have performed are pretty good. read more

I actually love going to his place the waitresses are very friendly always have a smile on their face they have an amazing menu good food they have great drink specials they do make great drinks I will say that they have bands on the weekends that are just awesome you actually couldn't ask for better place to go and through the day up until I think about nine or 10 you can actually take your kids in there and have a nice meal and they're not expensive. read more

Best sports bar in Terre Haute! Cold beers, good looking girls, great atmosphere and awesome food!

The boneless wings were nothing but Freezer burnt nuggets ,the sauce that claimed to be Jerk was a cheap barbecue sauce with cayenne pepper sprinkled in it the service sucked the very attractive waitress just dropped my inedible boneless chunks of bleached out alleged chicken wings other the table and jetted of to other endeavors. I still tipped 35% , but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Just left the restaurant and this place was great last couple of years but now this place sucks, we waited for 20 minutes for the waiter show up to take our order and not one waitress showed to take our order but one waitress showed to take our drinks but she wasn't even our waitress and she brought our drinks and I told her were ready to order for food and she said your waitress is coming and 20 minutes passes and I decided to just walk out because no one ever showed to take our order and we have been loyal customers for 3 years but as of today they lost an loyal customer. read more

I'm usually a regular for Friday lunch crowd and have good food and service. Today when I went the boneless wings were chewy, fries WAY over salted, and service was questionable. I went half my meal without a dinner cause I was trying to wash down the salt. The waitress didn't come around very much and she brought the check not even 5 minutes after she brought out my food. I maybe the only person on the check but you should treat the customer the same as if it was a group of 10. read more

I've been to this restaurant several times, and without a doubt believe they have the best onion rings in town. I also like their boneless honey-mustard chicken wings. It's a Sports Bar/Restaurant, and there are dozens of large screened TV's with all kinds of sports on at all times. They even have live entertainment come in. It's definitely worth a try. read more

The "new" wings are tender and crispy. The sauce lovely as normal. Great service! The waitress (jessica) friendly and helpfull. She even suggested another date spot for my gf and i for our next adventure. Not before stopping at showmes for more poultry fantastic though! Yummy. read more
