Nice local cinema. Plenty of parking front and back with a bunch of handicap spots along the curb at the back. I believe some of the doors (there are a lot of doors) have the auto-open feature. Parking lot has a good amount of lights too. Lobby has been updated in the past few years with lots of food options, a bar area, an arcade area and a private room you can rent for birthday parties and the like. There are a few seating options in the lobby as well. In theater seats are assigned, so buy them in advance on-line to get your preferred seat. There is also a kiosk inside the back door you can use to buy tickets and there are customer service reps to buy them from a person. Both these on-site options also allow you to purchase for a future date/time if the on-line option isn't your comfort zone. Cinemas are located off long hallways left and right off the lobby with a large men's and ladies' room off each hallway. Although not remodeled, the restroom does look like it's had some aesthetic updates. Cinemas are wheelchair accessible with ramps on the lower level. Seats recline and have small tables for snacks you purchased and cup holders. Each level is high enough above the one in front that no one's head is in your way. The audio is *loud*. I wear ear plugs and it's still plenty loud. Some theaters offer 3D movies or advanced sound experiences. All movies now offer Closed captioning and descriptive services. See customer service for info on those. Movie tickets are pretty pricey, and it's nice that this cinema is updated to make the experience comfortable with big reclining seats and enjoyable with cinematic surround sound. Lots of base. Theaters, lobby and restrooms are kept clean. Snow was cleared from the lot and sidewalks and they were sanded. It's great they have food, popcorn, candy, soda and adult beverages available too if you really like to splurge on your night (or day) out. read more

This showcase cinema has done a great job of keeping current. All of there seats are now recliners (think Lay-Z-Boy and the theaters are reduced capacity so you don't feel you are sitting on top of one another. The lobby has been upgraded and the drink machines are Coca-Cola Freestyle allowing for much greater selections. The staff is friendly and their Showcase Subscribe program is truly a bargain if you go to the movies more than twice a month. read more

Overall the concession stand area is super sticky, probably because people are just too messy, but the seats are comfortable, and you can't beat the Super Tuesday pricing on both tickets and concessions. The line at concessions was long, but the employees were getting through everyone as fast as they could. Love that the popcorn/drink combos are 35% off for their Tuesday deal day. The popcorn is standard (tasty) movie theatre popcorn and love that for soft drinks you refill them yourself at the Coca-Cola freestyle machines. The theatre was nice and the seats were great! Not like the old days where a movie would cost $1.50 for matinees. I was planning on going to the theater alone but my son joined. Seats are amazing, reasonably clean, and we go to the movies a decent amount. Bathrooms so dated that I got trapped in a bathroom stall today. The latch would not work despite repeated efforts and lots of adjusting, slicing my hand pretty badly, trying to push/pull door and finally realizing I could not get out. After a few long moments of panic and feeling trapped, I had to crawl under the door (which is at best a 10 inch space) and wiggle through on my belly on a bathroom floor. Upon finding a manager to let him know, he offered a bandaid?! which took him 8 minutes to find and nothing more, but as my hand had been cut, he needed my contact info...We got to the movie 15 minutes late at this point, sticky and dirty from bathroom floor, and a bleeding finger. If you're worried about going to the theater because of pandemic, don't. I went to see Promising Young Woman last night. All customer service areas are partitioned off with glass enclosures. Seating is assigned and intentionally spaced. You are given the option to select on a screen your actual seat, so those that like aisles can select aisles. There were only 6 other people in the theater with me and we were very spaced apart, at least 10 feet maybe more. I did notice some people removing their mask once seated. I personally left mine on unless I was grabbing a quick drink. I felt very safe and the movie was great. So nice to do something normal again, I haven't been to the theater since March 2020. I definitely missed it, there's nothing like seeing a movie on the big screen! read more

Yay to the new seats! This cinema has a very nice makeover. Compared to apple cinemas- showcase wins in comfort. These recliners are comfy and you melt into the cushion- (apples seats were a bit hard.) You can pick seats online and print out your pre-paid tickets at any number of kiosk. Of course you can still buy tickets as walk-in. Bar area has nice drink options, which I highly recommended as you lay back in your comfy chair. Also- you can totally swap seats if you don't like the ones you chose, just ask the usher to change them for you. It's hard to judge a good seat from the internet. read more

Great movie theater with 1 caveat. I enjoy going to this theater. It's always clean, the staff is friendly, and they do a ton of great event movies. I have not experienced this myself, but I've seen it many times, either from strangers or a buddy. If you're getting food that requires you to wait at the counter for the people in the back to cook it. Don't. It always takes forever, and unless you're at the movie 30 minutes early, you will miss the first few minutes of whatever you're seeing. Stick to popcorn or a snack and a drink. read more

Probably the worst movie theater I've been too in my whole life and I thought AMC was bad. They left piled up trash around the whole theater, and we went to a late show time too. They basically left the trash overnight and there were many trash bins filled. I'm also not from this state but most theaters I go too, the employees are constantly cleaning. I also find it odd how we pay so much for movie theater drinks and food and they put a code on the drink machines after a certain time to prevent people from getting refills. I'm not sure if that's the state or theater policy, I'm just not used to that rule from where I'm from. Also tiny screen and crowded space so the movie wasn't enjoyable. I'll go out of my way to come to Showcase Cinemas in Warwick not only because it's an upscale-ish movie theatre with reasonable adult ticket prices, but also because it has access to a surrounding area that's chock full of pretty much every chain restaurant you could ever want for easy pre or post film dining. It's also very clean, and the employees are friendly, at least in my experience. My boyfriend and I came here tonight to see Midsommar, which just recently came out. We're huge horror fans, and the film did not disappoint! I won't go into spoilers (sorry!), but let's just say - it's a must see! The theatre was large, clean, and had lots of seating with ample leg room. I find that the Showcase franchise is usually the best of the big movie theatres in terms of cleanliness (yes, AMC, you are the worst), and the Warwick location is no exception. Theatre candy and snacks are pricy, but hey, that's pretty much de rigueur these days. We didn't partake, but I noticed that they do have a bar should you choose to imbibe after a particularly terrible film - I could have used a drink after seeing Escape Room here earlier this year! Oof. I'm looking forward to coming back this summer to see more movies! It's one of the best theatres in RI! read more

Just okay. My aunt and I went here to see Gotti today. First off, the positives: although it's an older theater, and doesn't have reclining seats, the seats were comfortable and the screen was good. Sound quality was also good. It was a little stuffy in the theater at first (it's 90 degrees out today) but got better later. Negatives: when we arrived, there was a huge line to order tickets. They have two ticketing areas but only one was open. My aunt (who is 80) wasn't happy about this because we parked closer to the one that wasn't open, and it's hard for her to walk. Once the line dwindled down then it finally started moving faster. Bathrooms weren't dirty but most of the stalls had toilet paper in the toilets so they could have been cleaner. Overall just okay. Prices are expensive too but I live in Michigan where they're generally cheaper... $10.25 for an adult matinee today (but I have MoviePass, yay) and $9.50 for a senior ticket. They also do $7.50 senior tickets on Wednesdays. read more

I have very fond memories at Showcase Cinemas and brings me back to every movie I've seen here. The lobby is newly renovated and offers an electronic kiosk to purchase movies. The popcorn always smells good and the concession food is expensive as I remember it. I enjoy getting candy from the quarter dispensers in the lobby and I recently used the Skittles vending machine! The chairs in the theater are comfortable and the weekdays are usually never busy. I have one negative remark about this cinema and it's every time I come to see a movie the ticket price increases! read more

I went to this theatre to watch a movie and did not enjoy my experience. Me and my friends had ordered food and continued to wait 20-25 minutes for it before we asked what was taking so long and they finally got us the food after we had already asked twice. This caused us to miss 5-10 minutes of the movie. When we got into the theatre not even 10 minutes after the movie had started we noticed a random guy masturbating in the back of the theatre. When we complained they explained that they couldn't do anything about it. Horrible place, horrible service, would NOT recommend! read more

I liked this theater. Plenty of parking. The concession area is large and bright. The seats are roomy with plenty of leg room, more than other theaters, I think. It's nice that they have plenty of handicapped seating area as well as areas where people do not need to climb steps to find a seat. Very clean bathrooms and movie viewing area. read more

With the movie theater experience dwindling, Showcase (at least this location) isn't doing the audiences any favors. Prices are unjustifiably rising. I have a feeling that the ticket prices are rising to make the Showcase Subscribe service more appealing, but that really doesn't sit right. Their policy on audience members interrupting movies is really antiquated. The video they show before each film ("this is rude/obnoxious/illegal") is a cruel joke to the serious moviegoer. More and more people are talking and texting, AND people are taking pictures WITH FLASH and openly taking videos. I've gone four times in 2019 alone, and it has been an unfortunate venture each time. My complaints went unheard, and even when they did, the workers refused to eject moviegoers who were using flash photography in the theater. If prices are going up, Showcase needs to do more to ensure a fun moviegoing experience. But as it seems, they've lost control. I'll be choosing other theaters from now on. read more

I like the renovations that this showcase has made in the last several years. The new bar looks very classy!! Showcase always looks very clean and smells nice. The people at the counter were very friendly and patient as I took a while to decide what I wanted. The seats here are comfy but don't decline like at some other theaters I've been to. They have a large selection of snacks, but like any movie theater they are pretty pricey. I paid 5 dollars for a small package of dipndots ice cream. Delicious, but again over priced. If you are an eco friendly person- if you order your tickets ahead of time online you can scan the QR code and they don't print up a ticket for you! Which I thought was really cool!! read more

There was a giant piece of the ceiling (?) that was hanging in front of the screen on the top right side for the ENTIRETY of the movie tonight. It was theater 4. The woman in front of me was on her phone multiple times during the movie. The movie itself was good but was unfortunately hindered by the atmosphere of the theater itself. How can something be obstructing the screen PRIOR to the movie even beginning and have nothing done about it? Why wouldn't you choose to not show movies in that theater until it's fixed? We're paying to come to your theater... and paying to have pieces of your establishment draped over the screen. Not worth the money honestly. read more

An extremely nice movie complex. It's either still very new or they do an excellent job of cleaning because your feet don't stick to the floor like in most movie places. The seats are very roomy which means you can stretch out and relax and the lobby is huge with a nice junk food counter. Of course the stuff is all over priced but that's part of going to a movie. At least the popcorn is fresh and they have a good selection of junk food. Bathrooms are also huge and clean. We just came back from seeing Wolverine and because it was a early matinee we just about had the whole place to ourselves. That's the advantage of seeeing a movie in a huge movie complex with lots of different movies and times. However just as we sat down in the virtually empty theater, these two idiots came and sat right in front of us. Why do people do that? The damn place was empty. We just got up and moved so we could have some peace. This was about the best place to see a movie that i have ever been in. read more

Went to see Black Widow and had a fire alarm go off. Went to see it again a week later and the fire alarm went off again. Went to see The Suicide Squad and the alarm went off TWICE!! Writing this after an hour of waiting and counting which is completely absurd. This theater needs to fix their alarm system so people can actually sit through a movie again. read more

This is usually my go to movie theater along with the one at the Warwick Mall. I usually go to one or the other depending on whichever has more convenient showtimes for a given movie. I love that they do discount tickets ($7.50) on Tuesdays and I tend to plan many of my movie outtings lately around that deal, but even without that, I love that I can still get very decent discount tickets at AAA. Most of all, I love that there is PLENTY of FREE parking, unlike the pay parking you have to put up with seeing a movie at Providence Place. The food is of course way overpriced, but it's a movie theater, so what do you expect? The seats are comfy enough and the staff is friendly enough. I never go to the movies expecting too much in either department. I'm there for the movies, not for a 5 star life-changing experience. For what it's worth, I never leave Showcase Cinemas Warwick without a smile unless the movie I saw really sucked :) read more
