Came here after visiting the pumpkin spectacular We ordered the perfect pink patron rita and the Spicy Hombres rita. The drinks were good and overflowing from the glass! We ordered the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls and the cowboy sampler with burger sliders, ribs and fries. We purchased the $25 with extra $4 ($29) game card. A game did malfunction but the staff were able to fix it easily and refund my tokens spent with another game round. Everything came out hot and fresh but our sever kept forgetting stuff. I can't remember her name but it was very unique and pretty, but her service skills lacked. We kept asking for waters which she kept forgetting and had to ask a buss-boy for them. We also waited around for the check receipt that never came. We did verify on the tablet, but a paper receipt is ideal, especially for a tab over $100

Wednesday half price tokens is an amazing deal on games. My favorite game I found now is the Funko pop machine. The menu also has a lot of variety of options. I got the Brekky Smashed burger was amazing and the fries were cooked to perfection. Cheese Stick Stack was nice and crispy with plenty of mozzarella. Last the Backwoods Blueberry lemonade tasted amazing. The waitress was amazing. Perfect place to watch sports on the big screen or just rest after playing in the arcade. Will be back again!!

Great games, it's busy and loud so if you have a kid that gets overstimulated be prepared! My kids love the games here. Today we had nachos and the margarita flatbread. The flatbread wasn't bad for a place like this, the nachos definitely were skimpy on the toppings.

There are multiple Dave & Buster's locations spread throughout the United States. Dave & Buster's is a family-friendly chain offering a sports-bar-style setting for American food and many arcade games including virtual reality games. Dave & Buster's is where my husband and I had our first date so it has a near and dear spot in my heart. This Dave & Buster's location is on the top floor of Providence Place Mall across from Showcase cinemas. When you walk in, there are 2 kiosks where you can get a PowerCard and check if your PowerCard has any value. We headed into the arcade space. We played a connect 4 hoops game where you have to shoot hoops to move your red or yellow chip; Mario Kart; air hockey; shoot hoops; a hungry hungry hippos game where you sit on the hippo and grab the balls; a shooting game. All the games were fun and there were no issues using the PowerCard. The games we played weren't for tickets, but you can also earn tickets to redeem items. On Memorial Day around noon, there were only a few people dining in and a few people walking around playing games. It wasn't too crowded. We spent 90 chips and walking around for about an hour. Dave & Buster's also run specials so check their website for those details.

In Providence with the grandsons for the NCAA Hockey regionals and needed a place to entertain the guys. This was a power play goal!! Great gaming area and really good food. I am a wings snob and the Cajun dry rub wings were excellent. Perfect coating of dry rub, crisp exterior and moist interior. Fully cooked and served hot to the table. Service was really good. We were here at noon on a Saturday, I suspect that this place can get very busy.

Brings back memories.

My husband and I recently took someone here who enjoys Dave & Buster's. we are much older and honestly had a terrific time. I loved playing the old school games that I grew up with. And when they wanted to play sone more, we sat up at the bar and the bartenders were lovely. We enjoyed some cold drinks while the rest of the party finished up playing. I surprised myself enjoying it, as I had not been here since my adult daughter was a little girl! I would recommend it for something fun to do. And earlier in the day was much less crowded than in the afternoon!

Mozzarella sticks had the best cheese pull I've ever seen. The arcade games were ok, but the food was straight fire! Dennis also beat a 7-year-old in hungry hungry hippos.

Top view of drink, looks like water and didn't have any liquor taste at all.

I was their only customer at the bar when I came in. The young girl working the bar was very unmotivated. Was never asked how my day was and didn't even know what house tequila was. The drinks are watered down. The service was a 2/10

First let me start and say that..if you coming hungry please don't eat here lol the food here is very mediocre even less than that. I ordered a burger with fries and the fries was very dry and cold and the burger wasn't good ! We also came to play and have some fun and it was fun but some of the games we came to play was out of service which was very disappointing to my little boy The service there is ok but really not more than that We tried to point out and address to one of their employees about the issues we had with some of their games but he couldn't help up much oh well. The ambiance is fantastic for kids and teenagers I guess but that's it lol I'm not sure if I'll be back again but my little boy 100% will:)

Stopped by for some drinks and they were delicious! Service is a little slow but overall ok.

I haven't been here in over 10 years and I have to say I was pleased with how good the food was. The fish was juicy, a huge piece and flavorful. The fries are really good too! The service wasent the best but I'll probably go back

Ask the Community - Dave & Buster's Providence

They don't take reservation but I don't want to book a party. How busy are they on a Sunday afternoon?

That all depends. During football season it can get a little busy but I wouldn't say too busy for a party. Summertime though it's a hot spot on Sunday for kids birthdays during the day for sure.

Does it have any pool tables to use for the public?

No

My sister asked for more syrup and they actually charged us $1 for the ramekin of syrup! Never been to a place that charged for more syrup! We weren't even told that it would be an extra cost. For service, the customers need to be awared. My grandma asked for soft scrabble eggs, which was cooked perfectly to her liking. I had the Nashville hot chicken and waffles with fries. The waffles was cooked a bit too long. The chicken was very juicy but was not hot at all. For Nashville hot, I expected a lot more and I was very disappointed. On the menu, it said drizzled with syrup but there wasn't really any syrup at all. If it was for the chicken being juicy, that sandwhich would of been so dry!!! Yet the fries were good! Service could of been better. Our waitress was nice but barely checked on us. When asking for syrup the first time with another waitress, she said ok but went straight to her table that was near us to take orders. My thoughts on the food: it's alright!! I enjoyed my drink, which was one of the Super Bowl…read morespecials. I also liked the wings, we tried garlic Parmesan, buffalo, and Thai chili I believe. They were my favorite part. We also ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, which in my opinion was very bleu cheesey, but I also do not have much experience with buffalo chicken pizza. My concern was that the crust was really thin and just not that great, but still had a couple slices. The buffalo sauce was good for sure. We also had the cookie skillet for dessert which was very ooey gooey but perhaps a little too sweet. You may be thinking, "well yeah of course it's sweet, it's a cookie skillet," but it was an over powering sweetness. But it was a really good portion for sharing with my group of three! The vibe here was pretty nice, the old-firehouse-turned-bar is cool and the decor matches the aesthetic well. There are booths in little nooks and others out in the open and I like the variability. They also have a privateish area for private events. Theres even a parking lot! The service was also good, I was there for their Super Bowl watch party, and while it wasn't insanely busy, the servers were very attentive. As I said, I came here for the Super Bowl with some friends. They had raffles going, a DJ, plenty of TVs showing the game, some free swag, and a special menu. It was nice! They had a special drink menu, although it did advertise deals on food which ended up not being true. I had fun watching the game here, and while the place wasn't packed, most of the other spectators were from the local colleges... they were rather annoying, especially by the end of the night. Different groups were arguing with each other by the end, and one kid swore at the DJ for drawing a raffle winner that wasn't one of the college kids. The kids were leaving so the staff didn't need to intervene I'd say. But it brought us non-college student patrons together. Ah, the game day spirit! So if you're looking for a mature crowd, this may not be the place!

You know those spots that make you wonder if anyone in the kitchen has tasted their own food…read morebefore? Ladder 133 is that kind of beautiful disappointment - a place where the bones of something great are buried under the mediocrity of execution. The building itself, a converted Providence firehouse, practically begs you to love it. Red brick exterior, high ceilings, industrial charm that whispers stories of brass poles and midnight alarms. The kind of place that should be serving food as honest as the first responders who once called it home. Instead, what you get is a study in missed opportunities. Take the pizza - please. In a city that practically invented the art of turning basic ingredients into something transcendent, what arrives is a sad testament to lowered expectations. The crust has that unmistakable character of something that's seen the inside of a freezer, though someone's at least tried to jazz it up with some grill marks. The sauce tastes like it's trying to remember what tomatoes were like in a past life, and the cheese... well, calling it forgettable would require remembering it was there in the first place. The bathroom walls tell their own story - the kind of graffiti that speaks less to youthful rebellion and more to management's casual relationship with giving a shit. It's the little things that tell you everything in a restaurant, and unattended bathroom graffiti screams volumes about attention to detail. Yet somehow, like a random act of culinary kindness, they manage to nail the chicken parm sliders. Decent chunks of tender chicken, nestled in pillowy Hawaiian rolls, actually dressed with sauce and cheese that remember their purpose in life. It's like stumbling across a coherent paragraph in a book full of gibberish. The cookie skillet dessert arrives like a cruel joke - burnt to carbon on the outside while maintaining a center so raw it could probably evolve into sentient life if given enough time. It's the kind of dish that makes you wonder if the oven's temperature settings are more suggestion than rule. But here's the thing - the bartender actually did a great job. Quick with refills, genuine smile, the kind of service that makes you want to like the place more than the food allows. It's reasonably priced too, though that feels less like value and more like an apology. Providence has real culinary chops, Ladder 133 is what happens when potential jumps towards the pole and face-plants. Sure, come for a game, throw down a few beers, maybe grab those surprisingly decent sliders. But for the love of all things holy and Rhode Island, get your pizza somewhere else. This is the kind of place that reminds you why the phrase "sports bar food" often comes with built-in expectations of disappointment. At least the building's still cool.
