I was in town for Thanksgiving and wanted to get my nails filled. Tried calling a couple places but they were all busy or closed. I called Showtime and they had availability. I walked right in and they sat me down. They did a fantastic job. My nails looked gorgeous. I showed them an inspiration picture and they nailed it. The staff was super friendly and made me feel like family. They also had some of their usual customers come in while I was there and you can tell they love their clients. It was well kept and clean. As a preface, it should be known that I am a pretty tough critic. As such, I was very happy with my first (of many!) experience(s) at Showtime Salon & Spa. This is a great spot in the Southeast. This salon is very clean, and the staff are wonderfully welcoming and friendly. After a weeklong backpacking trip, my fiancé and I came in for a pedicure, and they took great care and time with us. Helen helped me, while Lisa helped my man. Both women were extremely nice and did a great job. A third employee (didn't catch her name) was also very nice, present, and helpful while we were there. The ladies were sweet and polite when I was making an appointment over the phone, and they welcomed us warmly when we entered. They took their time and did a thorough job of cleaning and exfoliating. We did not feel rushed in the slightest, and we were treated to a very relaxing and well-done massage and paraffin treatment. On top of all this, they were very patient with me. I chose a color I did not end up liking when tested, so Helen left me comfortably in the massage chair while she went to scout for other colors she thought I'd like. She then spent the time to test them on my fingers to make sure I'd end up happy. Not a hint of complaint or dissatisfaction in helping me. And the gel manicure was well done and meticulous. Great service. As far as the physical establishment goes, all areas of concern were top notch. In terms of cleanliness is concerned, I feel very safe and confident in this establishment. All tools and products used were individually wrapped and/or portioned so as to maintain sterility and cleanliness. The ladies (along with ourselves) were all wearing gloves and face masks, as well. They even have beautiful fresh flower arrangements and indoor plants throughout the salon, a nice touch that puts a place a little bit above the rest. The furniture in the salon is all well maintained and comfortable. Pedicures are performed in nice massage chairs. It's clear that the Showtime staff care a great deal about their business, their customers, and their storefront. I would definitely return, and I would totally recommend Showtime Salon & Spa to anyone looking for a great nail salon in the area. read more

Went in for a basic pedicure (the most basic) which on the brochure shows 40$ with gel I believe - something I discussed with the worker as well. She asked if I wanted callus remover for 10$ more, I said sure why not. The First Lady who worked on me did the cutting, massaging, all the good stuff and then she passed me along to someone else to paint my toe nails (not a big deal - she's probably new and in training). The job was "okay" - not the best I've seen but I'm not as picky on my toenails because it's not something people look at lol 2 stars for an okay job but here's the real reason for low rating - I went to pay and they charged me 63$. I said 63$ doesn't seem right - I got the basic pedi and callus remover (nicely). She responded "oh yeah because you get the callus remover for $3 more and basic pedi" - honestly. Getting two different quotes for callus remover plus being overcharged for basic pedi - I wasn't going to fight it. I paid it and thought I won't ever come here again. It's the dishonesty in the shop that I don't like - I was okay with an okay pedicure if it means supporting a small business but I'm not okay with different quotes and overcharging because i seem nice or won't fight it. read more

After going from salon to salon, I found Showtime and decided to give them a shot. They were accommodating to my need to change the time twice. Once I arrived, I was welcomed and sat immediately. A sister duo worked on my mani and pedi. They were friendly and consistently checked in to make sure I was enjoying the experience and liked their work. I was in and out within 90 mins and was pleased with the quality of work. The shop is managed by the ladies' mother, and I commend their hard work and customer service.
