When I went to get my nails done they insisted on using dip powder as the base AND the color, which I have never had done to me before. They would not let me get the gel nail polish even though this is something I do every time. My nails are cracking and chipping after just one day, and are very thick. I've been coming here for nearly two years, the first time was on vacation in 2022 and after moving here last year and trying out a few other places, have been coming back again and again. They thoroughly cleaned and replaced the pedi tubs with new plastic covers between each customer. I went in 2 times before the day of my appointment and both times I got 2 different prices ($80, 85) for the same design and length. Day of my appointment: showed them a picture of the nails I wanted again and they told me for the length in the picture(medium), it was going to be $90. I went through with it. As she was putting on the extension, she ask if I like the length she was putting on( what I didn't realize until later is the length of a small), I tell her "no can it be longer?" because something didn't look right. She tells me it's going to be even more money to do so. I leave the length as it is. At the end of my appointment they ask for a tip. I came in thinking the price was going to be 80 dollars as previously mentioned and so I already went 10 dollars over my budget. I am a student with a small part time job and tipping is not an obligation so I told them no sorry. Despite the fact that they spoke a different language, I could tell they were bad mouthing me with the other employees for not tipping. Later at home, it finally dawned on me, I paid the price of a medium and got a small. I go in the next day hoping for a simple solution such a redo or partial refund and Lord was i far from that. They tell me there's no way they would've ever had the length exactly right, they tell me they won't redo it because then I will find another issue and ask for another redo, the person brings up personal problems like how they have rent to pay and how they had to tip the employee who did my nails the day before or else they weren't going to want to continue to work. They mention they've been running a business for 9 years and have never had a complaint. They kick me out and tell me to never come back because they don't like customers like me. Thought all this, they never denied that there was a major difference in what I paid for and what I received. Very immature. Overall a very bad experience. If i almost pay a 100 dollars on something, I would prefer it to be done right. Even if somehow I was in the wrong, it was horrible customer service. I don't know about anyone else but If i have a problem with a service I would like for me to be able to communicate that efficiently without constantly being interrupted or any voices being raised. We are visiting from out of town. Came here because of the good reviews. The job was rushed; maybe because we are from out of town or maybe because we were the last people of the day. Gel manicures. The cuticles were not done well, the polish doesn't go to the edges on several fingers or down to the base of the nails. Also we both have polish coming off the tips after two days. So.:: update on my last review. I came in after work for a quick chair massage . Half not even expecting them to be able to do it since I didn't make an appointment and this salon is ALWAYS very busy. There were no techs' available to do a massage for me. So the owner jumped right in to accommodate me. This massage was absolutely HEAVENLY. He obviously know what's he doing because he was able to find each and every spot where I was "tight". Oh my gosh!! So amazing. I did the 20 minute massage for $20 , but they also offer a 10 minute session for $10 as well. I always opt for the 10 minute massage but then end up going for the whole 20 mins because it's THAT good! !!! Do yourself a favor and indulge! I promise it will be work it!!! The pedicure is okay. The tool cleanliness was questionable. Nothing was opened new in front of me. I don't like that. It would appear as I was about 90% done that I saw the clippers were being shared by two of the techs. YUCK. Midway through the person doing my nails changed. I asked if everything was okay. She said yes, she was going to paint. One minute in, she is doing cuticles and having an unknown conversation. She seemed rushed and mad and because of that, she poked my foot with the cuticle cutter. It was a shock. She just looked at me and gets up and the other girl returned. It was very odd. The other girl returns and starts the gel polish. And I kid you not, painted 7 coats. My toe nails are thick. I asked a couple times if everything was okay. I just got a oh yes. It was so weird. Also- a basic pedicure is 27.00. This literally Includes the water and not even a tablet to make the water bubbly. If you want the cheese grater it's a 7.00 up charge. That surprised me. Add gel polish-15 up charge. By the time I was done, I paid 49.00 for a mediocre pedicure, THICK NAILS, that I am unsure if the tools were clean, and I think maybe I made them angry after I said ouch after being poked. This place is awesome. They are very responsive to online appointments and walk-ins, and always do a great job technically. I've been there about 15 times and they've never disappointed. I usually have dip powder manicures and bring in pictures of nail art they've consistently been able to duplicate very accurately. The place is also very clean. I was able to get an appt on Sunday last minute. From out of state and needed a refresh on my fingernails and toenails. I loved the relaxed atmosphere. Staff moved quickly but not in a rushed way like some places I have been and I get stressed out because of! I also felt at ease in being able to communicate with and understand the conversations. I came in asking for a nail design from Pinterest and Leah nailed it! The first pic is off the internet and the second one is the design from the shop. I'm not sure what was so " relaxing " about this place. Me & my GF had a set appt which we came in and we were seated a few mins later ( she got a Manicure & I was getting a pedicure ) the women who was doing my Pedicure was looking for a instrument which the customer next to me pointed out it was on the floor, ON THE FLOOR next to a broken toe nail ( it's a nail salon ok I get that part) She then picks it up and placed it back into the small white instrument back and does not even clean or wipe it OFF. I was pretty astonished cause that same thing on the floor was what she used on my toe nails. Afterwards I sat in the front to " dry " my toe nails. No dry nail fans either. You will definitely be walking out with tissue between your toes so make sure to wear flip flops. read more

This place had good reviews, and so I decided to call and make a last minute apt. I understand it was a last minute apt, but if they didn't have time to do it, they should've told me over the phone instead of saying they could and having me sit there for 30 min. They needed to soak off my polish, but I've had my nails done so many times, I know it doesn't take as long as it did. I got dip nails, medium length, with no color, and I was there for almost 2 hours. On top of that, two people were switching off working on my nails, and I didn't like that. The way the first person glued on my tips, was obviously not right considering they are already popping off, and I got them done on Monday.
