Valentine's Nail Salon was absolutely fantastic! I was visiting from out of town and staying in Siesta when I realized I needed a dip powder manicure and pedicure. They were able to fit me in for an appointment right away, and from the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and professional. My nails turned out absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the results. What impressed me even more was their exceptional customer service. My daughter had an appointment too but wasn't feeling well, and since we were leaving early the next morning, I explained our situation. They went above and beyond by opening an hour early to accommodate her appointment. That level of kindness and flexibility is rare and truly appreciated. Today, my daughter and I had such a wonderful experience at Valentine's. We both enjoyed gel manicures that ended with a relaxing hand massage and warm towels, and my daughter also enjoyed a basic pedicure that seemed like the top upgrade for a pedicure with long, soothing leg massages and hot towels --such a great value at $35. This was my second manicure at Valentine's, and it was just as amazing as the first. The employees are incredibly inviting, kind, and work seamlessly as a team to make every customer feel welcomed and like a top priority. The salon itself is spotless, beautifully organized, and has an impressive selection of polish colors that are easy to browse. Came here for the first time and had a nice experience! The salon is really clean and nice and spacious. I love the sink area in the back too. I came here for a gel manicure (I made an appointment ahead of time and didn't have to wait). Cindy helped me choose my nail color, which was a really nice bridal white (what I was going for) and removed my existing gel nail polish. It honestly was a little painful with the electric filer but bearable. Then Travis took over to remove the rest of my remaining polish and we had a pleasant conversation. Cindy took over again for the actual polish application and did a nice job (see photo)! The total came out to $33 pre-tip which I thought was very reasonable. I would return! read more

First time and great experience. I called to see if they had availability and Cindy said sure come over. Convenient location on Tamiami in the Cedar Cove plaza next to Culver's, with plenty of parking. This salon is modern and spotlessly clean. Great selection of products and colors. Not knowing who I would get, I was pleasantly surprised to find a nail technician with experience and skill. Add polite and gentle as she efficiently started my pedicure. Lisa, whose Vietnamese name is Dung, pronounced Ung, is talented, speaks clearly and took one look at my Pinterest picture and quickly found the correct colors to match my chosen nail design. An absolutely relaxing experience with very reasonable prices. The pedicure chairs massages was soothing and enjoyable. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely be back in a couple weeks. read more

My previous nails were very thick and chunky and they were able to thin that back out and give a BEAUTIFUL set shaped exactly how I asked and to a much better thickness. Snowbird here who tried a few nail salons but wasn't satisfied until I found Valentine's. I've gone to the same nail salon in Boston for 25 years, so I was a bit apprehensive to try anyone new, but Mylon put my fears at ease and she did a terrific french nail dip. She cut my nails to the perfect length and walked me through her process. I was so happy I went back again for another dip and a pedicure this time -- and just as impressed with her pedicure. Would highly recommend (and I'm picky). Headed back to BOS but I'll be back to Mylon's salon January 2025! read more

This was my second time here with Araceli. First time was a pedicure and second time a manicure. She is an excellent nail tech. I have a special procedure for doing my polish which makes it last for 2 weeks, and she followed it. I am posting pictures to show you how beautiful my nails are after 11 days. I get pedicures all year. I live in Buffalo, NY, but I went to Osprey, Florida, to spend 2 weeks with my cousin. We found the best mani/pedi place. It was the best pedicure I have ever, and I mean ever, had. MyLoan was the girl that did my feet and hands. She did such a magnificent job I went back again before I came back to Buffalo. I called an hour before closing and Cynthia was willing to take me knowing I needed a full set. (Then I hit her with a request for ombré.) I just moved to Sarasota from Utah and desperately needed to find a nail salon. I searched and searched until I found Valentine's and they had such good reviews so I decided to check it out! I was so pleased with my first pedicure there. The salon is so clean (they use freshly sanitized tools from the sealed blue bag which is sometimes hard to find and so so important), the workers are nice as well as super accommodating. Prices are also very fair. This will definitely be my go-to salon here in Florida! read more

My problem was…read morewith the acrylic fill that over time would crack off or develop black fungus mold under the nail within 3 weeks - - hence they recommended 3 week returns. Instead I travel farther to an older manicurist Nails by Anh with 20 years experience and see him every 4-5 weeks - - no cracked nails no mold. Amanda and Nathan are wonderful delightful folk to work with.

Elaine's is a nice, clean, and quiet shop in a small strip mall. She makes all of her clients feel…read morecomfortable from the moment you walk in the door. She and her husband run an efficient shop and I have never seen them have customers waiting for service. I get acrylics with gel polish and my nails come out looking great every time.
