I got the "Deluxe" wash and tipped an extra $14 and asked the guy who took my money to please get all the bug guts off my car after a long road trip. Suffice to say they did not get all the bug guts off the car. Did they spend any extra time on it? To be fair I'd say I got an extra 30 seconds. Will I ever go back to Shur-Kleen? Probably not. I see that the business owner replied to my review saying that "Dried bugs can be challenging" and if they didn't all come off I could have run through the car wash again at no charge. To which I have to reply, it would be nice if they told you that before you entered the car wash. So, really not helpful. read more

This is the worst car wash I have maybe ever been to, and I was once in one where the sprayer on one side wasn't working. An attendant shoved my passenger mirror all the way forward with his brush and didn't put it back, the roof, bumper, grill, and liftgate look untouched, and the windows look *worse* since the rinse dried on spotty (I'm sure the paint will be spotty as well, when they dry). Just awful value when the car looks as bad for $20 as it did going in. read more

Heartbroken. Brought my dad's cool truck here to surprise him with a wash job. The equipment was malfunctioning and didn't rinse the hood which dripped down the driver's side. The soap dried and damaged the paint. When I complained they mailed me TWO free washes lol... This is going to cost hundreds to have repaired. My opinion is to steer clear of the Lacey location! read more

I pull up, ask if I could do cash back for their machines to grab a dry towel or dash rag. Attendant says "no we don't do that". Instead of offering to charge me and use his key to get a towel it was a rushed shrug and sad apology. Then he proceeded to say "the dryer gets it pretty dry anyway so..." I go through, I already knew it doesn't dry that's why I wanted the dry towel. I pull out with mirrors turned the wrong way and forced to go out onto the street to pull back into the car wash. SUPER DANGEROUS AND INCONVENIENT!!! Terrible location to have to do that! If you can't go onto the street; the person in car wash is forced out the car wash, then what?!?! read more

The Yelm location had an equipment failure & damaged 4/5 cars including mine. My car alone will cost over $5,000 to repair. It's been more than a week & have not heard from their insurance as told by manager I would. To think I paid $30 for my car to not be fully functional now read more

They used to be really good but the attendants when you exit the car wash who wipe your vehicle have gotten lazy and my last visit the guy was rude and marched off as I started to roll up my window before I realized I forgot to hand him the tip. The last 3 times they didn't wipe my black wheels which the automated machine doesn't get between the spokes and I paid 20 bucks to get cleaned. I think I'd rather just use the local self wash from now on or until they get better staff. read more

Deceptive. I got the hard sell to pay more in order to get a free car wash, just keep the receipt, he said. Attendant said NOTHING about a deadline. When I went back to use it, I was told it expired 5 days after I bought it. Attendant pointed to language on the receipt that says: "Try "The Works" Wash With Our 5 Day Clean Guarantee". I don't know of anyone who would read that to mean you have to get the 2nd wash within 5 days. Furthermore, very few people wash their cars every 4 days. Don't fall for this scam. If you are going to pre wash the car, then put alittle effort into it. The kid with the brush barely lifted it onto my car and didn't even wipe my car hardly at all. It was the worst car wash I have ever had for $10.00. I wasn't expecting it spic and span but at least it all cleaned. The Guy taking the money was running around pre-spraying cars, wiping cars, taking money, just busting his butt while one of the two with the brushes needed to go home and find another job or take a nap... will not go back no matter how dirty my car is. Cost is fair, and the wash is thorough. There are a lot of car washes you can go to, and they key is the effort of the people that prep your car before it goes through. I have been to the West Side and the Lacey location and both do a great job. read more

Works wash for $16 was worth it. Really good precast, and you can bring your car back within 5 days and get a re-wash, no questions asked!

Went to get my car wash today. As I begin to go through the wash the employees who does the pre-wash with the broom accidentally knocks off/breaks off my rear rain guard that goes above the windows to prevent rain from coming in. I thought that maybe he would meet me at the end of the car wash and let me know what happened. He didn't. So I drive back around to retrieve the broken piece and find out he just threw it in the trash. I asked to speak to the manager and he had the attitude that he could care less telling me that his employee said it was already broken and that he barely touched it. This is after I saw him bang the shit out of it while he was scrubbing the side of my truck with his broom. I asked at least for a complimentary car wash or two for the damage that was done and they said no because it wasn't there fault and they don't cover those items. Am I the only one thinking this is BULLSHIT! I will never go there again and I'll let everyone know what poor service they give. FUCK THEM! OK enough venting. WOOOSAAAAA! read more

Moved here recently from Seattle area where I was paying twice to three times as much for basic automated car wash. Prices here extremely reasonable especially when you buy several washes on their discount cards. Also free self serve vacuums with wash .. $1.00 more up north.
