DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH. They will damage your vehicle and then refuse to pay for it. I took my 2017 vehicle--pristine inside and out, meticulously maintained--through The Wave on Whitman Lane for a routine wash. The driver-side mirror cover was factory-original, never disassembled, never repaired, zero bodywork ever performed on the mirror or surrounding area. It was exactly as it left the assembly line. Their blower ripped the mirror cover clean off, snapping one of the three plastic mounting tabs that secure it. That tab is now permanently broken and unusable--leaving the cover held by only two tabs (a 33% loss in holding strength). At first, the manager seemed reasonable. He asked for a repair estimate, which I promptly provided from a reputable local body shop. Once I did, the excuses began: * They questioned the estimate's validity. * They demanded I go back to the shop for clarification on the OEM mirror that was being sourced. * I did exactly that. The shop revised the quote to address the concern. Then, radio silence--followed by a cowardly email claiming they're not liable because "the mirror cover came off in the blower," implying my car had "prior damage" or "previous work." They have zero evidence for this. The mirror was untouched since new. They're fabricating excuses to dodge responsibility. Now I'm out over $800 for a repair that should've been 100% on them. Worse: * The cover now has 33% less holding power. * That means a 33% higher chance of it detaching in any future car wash. * I can no longer use any automated car wash--including theirs--without risking further damage. Their equipment is clearly too aggressive for modern vehicles, yet they refuse to stand behind the damage it causes. This isn't an isolated incident; a quick search shows others have had mirrors, antennas, and trim destroyed here with the same runaround. Unacceptable. Dishonest. Dangerous. I will never return, and I'm demanding a full refund for the unused washes on my membership cards. I'll be taking this to small claims if needed. Save your car. Save your money. I had some recent billing confusion/issues that I discussed with the manager in July. He helped me resolve the issue at the time with a great solution that we both agreed upon. In August and September I had continued billing issues and stopped by to speak to the manager in person. He was incredibly kind and helpful and apologized for the issues- they were NOT his fault at all, he had done his due diligence, it ultimately was just some confusion by the staff. He helped me correct the issues and I am confident there is a resolution this time. Initially, it would have been easy to decide not to get washes at the Wave anymore because of the billing but ultimately the managers kindness, (and honestly all the employees are always kind), understanding, and desire to help me resolve the problem will absolutely keep me as a customer and I will absolutely recommend them to others! read more

Out of all the wave locations, I think this one is the best. I've had some problems at the other locations while trying to get into the car wash, the people weren't looking at my wheels, they told me to keep going straight and when I did, my rims got messed up. I wasn't too happy about that but at the Marvin location they are always friendly, they tell me exactly when to rotate my wheel so I don't him my rims on the sides. Great service. read more

I really like to use hand wash carwashes or the ones where you can manually scrub your own car with the foam brush and such, but my friend wanted to hit up this carwash even though we were already running late to meet a friend. So, we swerved into the Wave. You pull up to the pay station where a man who looks like the manager takes your money. We opted for the cheapest, The Riptide, as my friends little Kia wasn't super dirty. It wasn't like we just got back from off-roading or anything. My friend paid $10 and the wash is $7. I guess the guy thought the extra $3 was a tip as my friend got not change, but whatever. We pulled around and there are two guys that help guide your car onto the moving track that pulls your car into the wash. I did notice there was like a detail place off behind the wash so if you need a more high level detail, you can get one of the professionals to do that. There is something about a carwash that takes me back to days when I'd go with my dad to get the car washed. It kind just makes me smile and get all giddy the who time I'm inside since there is so much going on outside that car in the orchestration and symphony that is the Wave. It's like a party is going on outside and you're kind of a V.I.P getting the first hand look at what's hot and what's not. As there aren't any more hand wash car washes left in Lacey, I'll probably be bringing my car back here as it got my friend's car completely clean. One pitfall was the lack of vacuum stations. They get full quick and so you sometimes have to go elsewhere to vacuum your car. read more

Went through the car wash this past Monday (July 12). Upon exiting the car wash, we noticed our windshield was cracked. We filed and incident report with a promise we would hear from a manager the following day. No one called. This morning someone named Brian called me to tell me they have no liability because "10/10 times it's because there's a rock chip in your windshield." We arrived here at 6:45pm and chose to vacuum out the car first, then got in line to get a wash and they washed the couple cars in front of us but then they told us we were too late. If this were my operation, I'd most certainly finish up the line at least, especially for paying customers who just finished using my other services and wanted to pay me more money to provide even more services. They didn't offer any condolence or coupon to come back tomorrow or anything. It was just poor customer service. But I get it - when you're closing, you want to just get out of there. Great place to take your car for a quick wash. They have various washes to choose from ranging from the basic wash to a more premium wash. The staff will do a quick wash with the wand to loosen any excess dirt, etc. and then they'll send you into the car wash. I've always gotten the lower priced and mid-priced washes, and my car always looks good. They also offer $2 discounts on Monday for military and Tuesday for Ladies' Day. One thing I like about this business is that they also have an express detailing center. They have various packages for the interior of the car ranging from waxing to interior detailing as well as seat and carpet shampooing. They also offer a military discount for detailing services and there is a waiting area where you can sit and view your car while it's being serviced. I recently had the seats shampooed in one of my vehicles and they did a great job. I was impressed by the personal attention I received by the assistant manager, and he was very diligent in making sure I was happy with the results. I will definitely return the next time I need interior detailing. read more

First I need to say that I've used this car wash previously and have been happy with the wash and service. So, it's disappointing that I have to write about my negative experience today. I've literally had to drive my car back three times now to have it rewashed. After the first time through, there was still dirt all over the back. Second time, dirt was still there and soap residue was left on the hood. Now I'm going through for the third time and hope everything is washed and rinsed. I get that sh** happens, but having to come back three times in the same day... really?! You don't have to stand in the frigid cold and get your self all wet and your hand freezing to get your car clean in the winter time. Left little scratches everytime I went there. Because of convenience I continued to go there against my better judgment. Went thru today and and came out with scratches going all directions very deep and noticable on the bed of my truck. The manager tells me if it was from thier carwash it would be all over and not concentrate in one area. I have visited this location twice. My 1st time I didn't get a good wash and had to go back to get another. I didn't feel as though the manager was very happy about giving me a second wash when clearly my car was still dirty. I decided to give this place another try yesterday. The prices were higher, (I purchased the Tsunami), which comes with everything. They did not clean with brushes on my wheels or rims ( which were very dirty and not cleaned). My windshield was still dirty after my wash, and I had to rub off some dirt that was still on my fender. I would think with raising prices on your car wash that your quality would be much better. I will not visit this car wash again. There are other places in town that do a much better job. read more

Your carwash broke down this afternoon and we were trapped in line for over 20 minutes. The staff was very nice and gave us updates but I was on my lunch hour and had no extra time to spare. We then had to wait in line to get a refund. I would have driven off but once again, we were trapped in the line. It ended up being 26 minutes. I was 15 minutes late to get back to work because, once again, I was trapped behind all the other cars trying to get out of the parking lot. They should have let us out after 5-10 minutes. Went here for interior car detail, paid $139 and an additional $100 to remove couple areas with mold... when you pay for an interior detail you'd expect the inside of your car to be completely clean. HOWEVER, there was still 1) mold on the seatbelts that looked like it wasn't even touched, 2) lint on the backs of the chairs, 3) remaining crumbs between the cracks in the back seat, 4) water/drip stains on the side paneling in the rear (that was easily wiped down by myself), indicating that the interior was not dressed as described in the package 5) the glove compartment wasn't touched (I purposely cleared it out and the worker reported that they do not clean this part of the car). Based on this experience, it was an utter disappointment and after I called to see if they could take care of the above concerns the worker deferred to his boss that they'd call me back, but they never did. Impression: this location does not take pride in their work. If I wasn't pressed for time I would have taken my car to Ryan's Auto Detailing, a local business, or any other local business who are driven by patient satisfaction. read more
