75% happy here. Service was friendly and prompt. Quick to get through at lunch time. And 3 sides of my car were nice and clean! But the back (hatchback on Mazda 3) was not touched by any soap or water. Still had the same dirt, dust and grime I went in with. Which is almost impressive given how sudsy and wet and system was. Didn't have time to go back and ask for a re-do, but I feel like they would have fixed it had I been able to. read more

Yayyyy so glad Elephant Car Wash is here in Olympia. This replaced the Go Green Car Wash that was here but I recognize some of the staff who were here before! I read some salty reviews here mentioning about Elephant replacing a local business. I mean its a car wash replacing a car wash, and my experience has been great with both businesses so I am still going to come here, its convenient for me and staff are friendly, and most importantly, no scratches on my car from harsh brittle brushes. : ) Elephant Car Wash is more common in Seattle area, and they have car wash prices ranging from $9 to $18. If you pay $3 towel service one time, you get towels to wipe inside and outside of your car each time you come in. You can even keep the towels, just bring it next time. I always go for the basic "pink" wash ($9) and it gets the job done. They have nice vacuums and spacious parking lot for you to detail your car as much as you need! I personally like the fancy lighting inside the carwash tunnel, and I hadnt washed my car for months (its rainy season here in PNW..) and I only saw few specs of really old dirt on my top hood, which I literally had to wipe multiple times with the towel, which I do not mind at all, and prefer it more than scratching my car and Still having dirt on it. read more

Went to this car wash today after getting a wash coupon from a dealership. Several things went wrong during this visit. The car wash stopped two times during the pass through -- all lights, water, brushes and vehicles completely stopped. After going through, I pulled in to use the vacuums, and when getting out, was horrified about the finish on my black trim surrounding the windows on my vehicle that had completely lost ALL original shine. In trying to speak with an employee about this problem, I was told several things (in a very condescending, short-tempered and disrespectful tone): "I have worked at a car wash 5 years and have never seen this. I can guarantee it's not from us." And, "for the 18th time, just rub it and it will be fine". And "see these water spots on your window? This damage must have already been there -- there is no way it's from us". Finally, "if it was from us, the damage would be everywhere, not just on these parts of your car". Well, the finish that was damaged is a different material than the body of the car, so of course the problem won't impact the whole vehicle that way (plastic versus metal). In asking for the manager, I was told "I am the manager today", by employee "Ricky". Due to his total lack of customer service (no basic respectful communication), I asked if I could have the owner's information -- which I was told, "we don't give that out, but feel free to search online. I can already tell you he will say the same thing I am". For the record, I typically hand wash my cars because I think car washes do nothing but scratch up your exterior. However, I have NEVER had an experience like this at any other car wash in this area (The Wave, Shur-Kleen, even gas station washes). I drive a 2023 KIA Sportage, so this also is not an "older car" issue such as sun damage or expected wear. In tears, I immediately drove to the dealership where I purchased this vehicle and they were just as appalled as me. Luckily, they are amazing at Hanson Motors and told me they would get it in and do whatever it takes to resolve the issue - a very obvious issue. Aside from my horrified feelings seeing my vehicle in this condition, the most disappointing part was the way I was spoken to by Elephant Car Wash employees (plural, because a second man came out to unload on me too) and made me feel like I was a "Karen" or trying to just pin a problem on them -- instead of having a reasonable conversation about a very clear problem. Let's just say, I have never posted a Yelp review... this is my first ever -- because that is how bad this situation was. If you read this novel of a review... I seriously suggest you take your business elsewhere. And throw those wash coupons away -- NOT worth saving the $15 on a wash. read more

Recently things have taken a turn here , I have a monthly pass and I am in the process of canceling it . I have the towel exchange but most of the time they don't have a towel to exchange , oven been told they will be ready soon . Not acceptable, I don't want to come back. The vacuums are no longer working at max capacity , I had to go to a separate stall and that one didn't work and another stall was closed . Leaving one or two open but I was advised by the people using those stalls they were not working well . I have them another chance and it didn't go well either . I don't have time to use multiple stalls to vacuum . I need the towel I should be getting and paid for . I miss the old owners and the excellent customer service they provided . PSA to all local friends. I've always used Go a Green Car Wash on the Westside of Olympia and have had no issues. They have since been bought out by another company called Elephant Car Wash. Got a free car wash card in the mail when I moved so went to try it out on a sunny day. The guy had you pull in so close to the next car - way too close. I felt I didn't have enough time to wait for the drying process to finish because the car behind me was also SO close, but I'm not sure if that really would have solved the problem. It looked nice enough when it was wet, but TONS of water spots. Needed to go back to The Wave to get it washed again. read more

Worst car wash ever, $19 with a $5 tip. Vacuums don't work what so ever, told gentleman that my mirrors were automatic and that I would pull them in, what did he do he shoved them in anyway and never touched them with his brush, as he washed with the brush he only did about a quarter of my truck before sending me through. The attendant was sweet and helpful. Car wash itself seemed fine, but $11 for a basic wash?? No upgrades or anything. The vacuums we're just the icing on the cake. Keep in mind, I NEVER leave reviews, so this is saying something. There were 5 vacuums on site. NOT ONE OF THEM WORKED. What the heck!! That was the main reason I came here, and now I can't seem to find anywhere where a vacuum is available. Im a single, struggling mother and my car is littered with goldfish and crumbs of all sorts. $11 for a basic car wash and no access to vacuums (which I had to pay for) is beyond disappointing and obnoxious. I just moved to this state. In Arizona, vacuums and car washes are everywhere and reasonably priced (w/ FREE VACUUMS). The " manager " a tall lanky ,mean man, that throws tantrums and screams at his customers and accuses them of trying to run him over ! Runs the place on Tuesday afternoons FYI. I have gone there for years.. but because of him I Will Not Return !! They squired my windshield and completely blocked my view.. screamed at me to turn right and faaareaked out and said lady use your brakes!!! You could kill someone.. Andrew, the owner, is a liar. I took my 4Runner through the car wash and ended up with massive black scratches and dents down the driver's side door. I filed a claim and spoke with the manager, who stated they would review the camera footage and be in touch. I called a few days later, after not hearing anything, and spoke with the manager again who stated the owner, Andrew, was there and reviewing the footage and would call me back ASAP. After a few more days passed and no response, I called and stated I would like to speak with Andrew about my claim. The employee said I could meet Andrew in person since he was on his way down, so I met him later that day. Without greeting me or my boyfriend, Andrew immediately started the conversation by stating it was impossible for his brushes to have caused the black scratches and dents because there were no black brushes inside the car wash. I responded by asking to see the brushes inside...there were (are) plenty of black brushes. Lie #1. Secondly, after we determined there were black brushes, he proceeded to say that those brushes could not have caused the damage on my door because it would have broken my window instead (since the window sticks out further than the bottom of the door - what?!). That's not true - the damage was on the outer most portion of the door...Lie #2. After realizing this guy is going to keep on lying, I asked for the video footage because it would show an undamaged door going in to the car wash and a damaged door driving out. He said there was NO footage because the cameras were down due to a power outage. There was no power outage that day and there was a video (remember the manager already told me they were looking at the video a few days prior)! Lie #3. I told him this and he started stumbling over his words. Guess he couldn't come up with another lie fast enough? So then it escalated, and he said he would call the cops on us (my boyfriend and I) for trespassing. We were not threatening him, there was no aggressive behavior, but I'm assuming since none of his lies worked, and his own employee had told us the truth about the footage, threatening us with cops was his last resort. This incident happened over a year ago, but I couldn't bring myself to write a review because of how disgusting the whole situation was. I'll leave it at this, if you value your vehicle, go somewhere else. Thankfully, my insurance took care of the damages and explained that a lot of car washes will lie in order to avoid an increase in their insurance policies and that, unfortunately, they can do this and it happens more often than I realized. Andrew, you are by far the WORST person I have ever had to deal with and a terrible liar. I hope you can treat people better in the future and be honest, but I doubt it. I'm just grateful I never have to see you or deal with you again. read more

I used to go the GoGreen car wash that was located here. Elephant is more expensive, offers fewer services, and uses harsh detergents that don't rinse fully from the vehicle. Also, everything is automated. I was really disappointed and will miss GoGreen for sure. read more

Pre soak was spot on, the second guy got every spot of my car with the brush that the car wash usually misses just as he should. Nice to see car wash guys caring about quality. Elephant Car Wash - First time trying this place out since they just took over go green car wash.... $18?!? really?! - Car Wash Near Me - Olympia, Washington

BUYER BEWARE - I've used the car wash that was bought out by Elephant for many years and it has sold a time or two. I came to try out after Elephant took over and was confronted with an automated teller with options that were frankly too small on the screen for me to read (yes, I didn't think I'd need reading glasses to take my car to the car wash). I selected what I thought was one upgrade from the basic wash but was charged $38 to "join the club." The wash was fine, no complaints. The receipt wasn't clear when I got home and read it and then I went on their website but it hadn't been updated for Olympia yet. I chalked it up to my own negligence and frankly forgot about it until another $38 hit my credit card today. So now, my car wash has cost me $76. I'll be dealing with it with my credit card company and get this monkey off my back but I hope someone reading this will just avoid my hassle. You can bet I'm done with this outfit for GOOD! read more

This place sucks. A lower panel came off my driver side door from this car wash, the employees made no attempt to right this problem. I had to replace the panel for $200.
