When Barb retired, her company was apparently acquired by Howard's Pool World. Unfortunately, they have a strict policy of servicing a pool only below the water line. When some worrisome black mold appeared on the underside of the coping tiles around our pool's edge, they absolutely refused to remove or treat it. That's when and why we began searching for a new pool maintenance company. Fortunately, we found Hydra Pool Service, a small but growing company. Hydra not only agreed to maintain our entire pool, they sent TWO of their technicians out that SAME DAY to remove the worrisome mold and clean the entire pool! Our great grandchildren use our pool frequently and our granddaughter reports that our pool is now remarkably clean with clear, sparkling water! Such excellent results from a truly customer-oriented company also came with a slightly lower monthly rate! He comes same day, same time every week which is nice for privacy reasons amongst others. As the owner/operator, he takes great pride and concern for the reputation of the business. Mother Nature can play havoc with pool chemistry but in the two years Rizz has been maintaining my pool, I have yet to have a green or cloudy pool. He also maintains the pool at the vacant house across the street from me with the same attention he gives mine.
