I have been going to Dr. Yeh for a few years now. I found her after I tried a few dermatologists…read morethat weren't cutting the mustard. I had a really exceptional doctor before but she moved to another state. Like most reviews say, Dr. Yeh is fast paced. I like her because she's knowledgeable and although she's fast paced, I have never felt rushed. She addresses your issue and then she asks you if you want her to look at anything else. She even checked my back. She does not accept new patients, only by family referral. That is how I got in because at the time when she was accepting new patients, I found her for my parents. Then several years later I was accepted as a new patient because my parents were patients there.

Instead of asking what I eat, what is my skin care routine, and what she recommends me to do, she stated I should do chemical peeling once a month with her, which is 200 dollars. It ruined my skin barrier and I started to break out even more, it was the worse acne I ever had. She stated it was purging, but this left so many scars on my face, and previously my skin was alright. I came in to get my acne scar reduced since I had a few in high school.. and my skin use to be so clear people as people would mention that I was glowing...

I was trying to make a year-end appointment to use my insurance benefits, but most dermatologists…read morehad no availability. I found this office listed as in-network and called for an appointment. To my surprise, they had plenty of dates available, so I booked one for 12/11 at 3:20 PM. I received forms to complete ahead of time, which I did. The reminder email didn't mention arriving early for additional paperwork. I arrived right on time--just a couple of minutes late because I couldn't find parking. The office is on the 10th floor of a downtown building, about a block from the Santa Clara courthouse. At that time of day, street parking was easy, and I believe they also have garage parking. You receive a code to unlock the front or back door via your phone, which was convenient. Once inside, I was asked to fill out more information on an iPad, which took about five minutes. My appointment was scheduled for 3:20 PM. Around 3:45 PM, I asked how much longer I would have to wait. Someone came in almost immediately to take me to a room, take pictures, and ask questions about my concerns. By 3:55 PM--35 minutes after my scheduled time--I asked again how long it would be. I was told they would check, but no one followed up. Ten minutes later, I picked up my bag and said I wasn't going to wait any longer. At that point, I was told Vera was still treating another patient and I'd need to wait another 10 minutes. That would have been 50 minutes past my appointment time, she was still with another patient!! I left without being seen or making another appointment. I understand doctor's offices often run behind, but this was excessive and disrespectful of someone else's time. I left one star only because the front desk staff were very pleasant.
