I was looking for a dermatolagist that I could see before the end of 2025 and after my last bad experience with a dermatologist, I wasn't sure if another doctor who had immediate availability would be any good. Dr. Badame had availability on the 31st and I took the appointment with very low expectations. The staff were welcoming but nothing extra ordinary. You have to provide your insurance card and driver's license and if your DL is electronic, you have to send it via email to the office staff. Wifi is very bad in the office so I had to go outside to do it and it was pouring. I wish I knew about this ahead of time. After a reasonable wait, considering that it was a doctor's office, I was taken to a room and the RN asked me about my concerns etc., and after a short while, I saw Dr. Badame. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He immediately had an answer to the issues that I was there for and recommended some cream and asked me to come back in 3 months. Since the cream that the doctor prescribed would most likely not be covered by insurance, the front desk staff recommended Wellness Pharmacy that would have it for much cheaper than a CVS or a Walgreens. I wanted to try my insurance first and so they sent it to CVS and when CVS confirmed the price for the cream, I called the office back and asked them to send it to the Wellness Pharmacy and they did so and I received a text confirming the same. The waiting room I was directed to had a screen with very useful information on caring for your skin, practical advise etc. while I waited. There was also a notice posted in the room about making sure that each patient asked all the questions they had and to leave satisfied and I liked that. I'm giving this review two different ratings. One for the doctor, and another for the office. We will start with the doctor. Dr. Badame is a very nice man with great bedside manner. He knows his stuff and I didn't feel like he was ever trying to say or sell me something that wasn't going to work. After putting me on Retin-A, I can definitely feel that my skin looks and feels better, so that is definitely a plus. I recommend Dr. Badame for his services. Now for the office. Trust me when I say you are not seeing the doctor for his office decor. Boring, blah, and beige pretty much cover it. There is zero personality. That wouldn't be so bad if the exam rooms were clean. They are not. Dust and dirt on the floors, serious calcium deposits all over the sink, wallpaper peeling off, and if you look closely, you can see that someone attempted to dust around the canisters sitting on the counter. I was actually very surprised considering it's a doctors office. If you can overlook the office, I do like him as a doctor. The staff is also very nice. read more

I decided to make an appointment because of the mostly 5 star reviews, but found it very interesting that the few detractors gave only 1 star. Since there weren't really any just so-so reviews, I wondered which version of this doctor I would get. The front desk staff were very nice and welcomed me to the office, I filled out some forms and two technicians lead me to an exam room. They asked me a few questions and said the doctor would be in shortly. While waiting I noticed a sign on the wall encouraging patients to make sure all their questions were answered to their satisfaction before leaving the exam room. Another sign on the opposite wall encouraged patients to leave a review on Yelp. Hmm. Dr. Badame came in like a whirlwind, took one look at a growth on my scalp and said it was nothing to worry about. He said he could remove it if it bothered me. I said it did and mentioned some itchy things on my back that bothered me also. He immediately got his can of liquid nitro and zapped the things on my scalp and back. There was no changing into a hospital gown or anything, just lifting my shirt and zap zap. I could understand why another reviewer found that a bit off-putting. But wow, he was fast! He also gave me an Rx for some skin cream and said to come back if any more issues. I think all of this happened in less than 10 minutes. He was politely terse, confident and efficient. I appreciated that I pretty much got what I came for in terms of treatment, but throughout the entire brief interaction I felt from him a sense of urgency to be done with me and move on to the next situation. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a competent no-nonsense doctor, but if you prefer someone who's more relaxed with a gentle bedside manner, maybe not. read more

I have been going to Dr. Badame for the past 4 years for my psoriasis treatment. During this time, he and his staff have always gone out of their way to help provide the best care possible. I even remember when I was out of state for half a year and he and his staff have provided a way for me to have testing done where I was, in order for them to fill out a PA for my biologics and have it delivered to where I was temporarily working. Not to mention that every visit is not a simple boring checkup, but actually very informative; I appreciate that he catches me up on new medications that I can try. My skin is fully clear after narrowing down on the biologic that is most effective for me. I also find the front staff as always super helpful and proactive to my care. Whether filing for a PA for the thousandth time and following up with pharmacies and insurance, or providing me CSV coupons for generic versions of brand medications to save me money, their efforts to provide the best care possible is something special I find unique at this specialist location. I really don't get all the negative reviews. I've been to see Dr. Badame a number of times and always found him prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He's spent an appropriate amount of time with me and answered all my questions well. He identified and surgically removed a melanoma from my arm, and took great pains to ensure clean margins, but also a good cosmetic result as well. He's not like some of the other dermatologists I've gone to who were primarily cosmetic dermatologists and tried to sell me insanely priced skin creams and treatments knowing full well they're not covered by insurance. Dr. Badame even helped me find a pharmacy the charged the lowest price for a medically necessary topical medication. I worked in medical research for many years and found him to be thorough in his examinations and both knowledgeable and skilled. And I've never had an issue with the staff. I feel like I'm in good hands with Dr. Badame. read more

I had a cyst removed from my face by Dr. Badame and it puckered my face to the point where it actually looks worse than when the cyst bump was there. I waited 2 years to see if it would self-correct but it did not. I went back to see him after 2 years and he told me my face would "absorb" the dent he put in my face. It has now been about 5 years since the procedure and it has not "absorbed". During the procedure I recall I felt like he was tugging awfully hard when he was stitching it up and thought, he must know what he is doing so I didn't say anything. Needless to say, I am not a happy customer. It's not like he was stitching up skin that is covered by clothing - it is my face. He should have taken more care. read more

I will not be coming back- I came in for my first appointment about a month ago and was in the office a total of 15 minutes. This guy does not have any bedside manner whatsoever. I felt like a task he had to check off for the day. I came in for mole checks and also some skin concerns. He didn't give me any warning that he was going to start looking over my moles and proceeded to lift up my shirt without asking. As a young girl- absolutely not. He then proceeded to take off my mask and go "you have some acne" which- my skin is decent but even saying that to someone? Why not ask, tell me about your skin concerns or something along those lines. My biggest recommendation- do not come here if you want to feel like you have a doctor that cares about you and your concerns, and especially don't come here if you are even remotely self conscious. I got billed nearly $500 for a simple 10 minute consultation appointment, which is absolutely ridiculous. I thought I was only going to pay the co-pay, but for the past couple of months, I have been heckled with bills asking to pay back Badame for his services on my mole inspection. Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Badame's office wasn't the greatest. First of all Dr. Badame was very nice during our initial consultation which lasted about 10 mins. He diagnosed my problem and prescribed some medication. Up to that point everything was fine but then the problems started: 1. When I went to my pharmacy to pick up my medicine the employee tells me that the prescription was lacking directions on a second item and they needed to contact Dr Badame's office and ask for the prescription again. I had to drive back the following day just to pick up the second medicine. 2. One of the prescribed drugs caused my skin to irritate so I called the office and asked for an alternative to what was prescribed. The staff told me she would call me the same day which was a Thu and she never did. I called the following day (Fri) and the same girl told me the doctor had taken the day off so I needed to wait until Mon to get what I was looking for. 3. Monday comes and I speak to the front desk about this. I am recommended some antibiotics that were not available because they were being used to fight Covid-19. Why would I be prescribed medicine that they know it's impossible to find? I still don't know. Anyways, it takes 5 calls and several days of waiting until the pharmacy tech tells me he is contacting the doctor's office to get something else. He finally calls me back and tells me my pills are ready. 4. Unfortunately the medication was pretty aggressive on my body and made me really sick so I called the doctor's office to let him know about the dangerous side effects I was experiencing and the receptionist/ asisstant didn't seem to be very interested in helping. It was again Friday so she told me the Dr was not in and to wait for Monday or to go see my primary care physician. I discontinued the medication right away and contacted another doctor which confirmed the side effects of what I was given. I called back Mon cause I knew I wasn't going to receive a call back and they offered me an alternative treatment. 5. I finally picked up the new prescription and 4 days later I noticed a rash on my skin. At this point I was fed up with them as I am pretty sure they were with me too. I don't know if it was too much to ask but I expected them to follow up on my case given the constant issues I was having with the medication that was prescribed yet they never called me back. I was very disappointed with the lack of follow up and the overall experience I had at this place. I spent almost $500 dlls just to be back right where I started without even getting 1% better. Unbelievable! This is the reason why I have decided to give this place this rating. read more

I made my appointment with Dr. Badame maybe two years ago. I had the initial appointment which was a consolation for a cherry angioma removal on my nose! The mole was so big and plump that I was already resigned on the thought of having a scar on my nose from this removal! We sent a total of 10 mins which was about $100 since I did not have insurance. The day of the actually removal, he was very quick in numbing and cutting/cauterizing the area. Fast forward a few couple of months later, the scar was supper small. Then today, the scar on my nose is so small, its barely uunnoticible unless you look very hard! The staffs in the front and the medical assistant was also very friendly while being quick and efficient! I overall do recommend this place! read more

You can tell he takes as many patients as possible because he spends only a few minutes with you and then rushes you out the door. He wouldn't even exam my skin he just looked down my shirt... Also the medications he prescribed me did not work. They sent me the bill before they charged it to my insurance. Were they hoping I wouldn't noticed and just pay? It took months to receive my bill post insurance and even then it had a tacked on $8.53, which is not right because my bill should have been $50 flat. It took a few more weeks to get the correct $50 bill. It feels so hard to find a good dermatologist that isn't a scam artist... read more

Agree with the feedback that he deserves negative stars. Look at all the negative reviews! Really he should have his licensed revoked. Avoid at all cost this practice and Dr is less concerned with this patients and more another making $ and billing as much as possible. The doctor was late to my appointment only to spend only 5 minutes looking at some bumps I had concerns about. I was told "it's not cancer" based on its "appearance" and that was it and I could come back to get it removed but that would be another appointment. No followup. I noticed I was getting a lot more sun spots and had one mole/spot that I was concerned about. I'm in my 60's and have never had my sun spots and moles looked at before. I was a little nervous not knowing what to expect. The staff is so friendly. They put me at ease immediately. And Dr. Badame is amazing too. He made me feel relaxed as he carefully scanned all my moles and spots. He explained everything he saw and answered all my questions and concerns. I brought my son here because my husband had great services with Dr Badame few years ago. The office was clean and receptionist was nice and made sure my insurance covered the cost before seeing the Dr. Dr Badame gave me options on how to treat my son's condition. After a few months, his infection healed but left scars. Will be going back to Dr Badame again about how to heal those scars. read more
