I contacted Gabby through Yelp and she replied right away. She gave me a very fair quote for plantation shutters in our bedroom, with a sunshade behind it to block out heavy sunlight in the morning. While she was onsite, we also decided to get roll-up banded shades for our large doors downstairs (see before and after pics). They were very protective of the flooring and laid down moving blankets for their tools and supplies for the install and moved all furniture before and after the shutter installation. I found Shutter Effex through a yelp search. I was looking for shutter installation for 17 windows and 1 slider door. Gabby called me right away and was at my house with quotes the very next day! When we met with Shutter Effex they were in the beginning of opening their business. They only had one yelp review. We loved Gabby and Cheyney for their honesty, experience, and overall knowledge of shutters. We took the plunge and ordered our custom shutters. The waiting period for your custom shutters to be made was the hardest part! Once the shutters were complete, Cheyney installed our shutters in two days.
