Don't ever use this company. I made a reservation for pickup at the airport in Puerto Rico. The company they contract with cancelled the ride immediately saying they couldn't make the pickup. Shutttle Fare never contacted me and I arrived in Puerto Rico with no pickup and was unable to get hold of anyone. I called 5 times no answer. I finally had to look for an Uber which took almost 2 hours. I called them to complain and spoke to someone who said a supervisor would call me back to let me know if they approve the refund. Are u kidding me? Approve the refund they never sent anyone. Regardless no one has called me back and its been a week. Stay clear of this company. read more

Terrible service. A totally incompetent Uber driver was assigned to our trip. He drove for 45 min. minimum before getting on the right route. Very little English so communication was bad. He seemed afraid to drive on the highway and I had to tell him to drive in the right lane b/c the cars were whipping around us. Just scary. I complained to Shuttlefare by email and many, many phone calls and was always told I'd get a call back from the supervisor but it never happened. Totally blew me off. WARNING!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. If there is a rating lower than one star, that is what I would give ShuttleFare. I booked a shuttle from LAX prior to my trip on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28, 2019). Apparently, they hired a third party named LAXride to pick me up at LAX. After booking, I received a text message from LAXride instructing me to text that number once I land at LAX. When the day came and once I landed at LAX, I texted LAXride to let them know that I have landed. I got a reply telling me to take a shuttle to LAX-it and they will send the driver there to pick me up. When I got to LAX-it, I texted them again to tell them that I am there. This was the reply from LAXride: "Due to operational difficulties, we cannot service this booking." I tried calling LAXride but no one picked up the phone. Instead I received another text message saying "We do not provide telephone service." What kind of company is this? In this day and age when almost everyone has a cellphone, this company does not have a working phone? Or maybe not answering the phone is part of their MO. Why would they tell me to go to LAX-it only to be told that they cannot pick me up when I got there? They should have told me while I was still in the airport. At least it is much more comfortable in there. Me and my family were left out in the cold without a ride and the temperature was about 40 with strong winds and rain and we were not properly dressed to stay outside for a long time. I ended up booking a Lyft ride and paid twice as much. When I got back home from the trip, I called ShuttleFare and demanded a refund but was told that I will have to wait. They will first contact LAXride and wait for the confirmation from LAXride that service was not provided to me before they can refund me. I demanded that they should refund me first while they are doing their investigation on the matter for not refunding me my money is like adding insult to injury. The customer representative on the other line told me that she cannot refund me because they have to follow the process. So, I then disputed the transaction with my bank and my bank acted swiftly and refunded me the very next day. Let this serve as a warning to the riding public. Beware of these two companies. ShuttleFare and LAXride are scammers. They are selling non-existent service. Once they get your money, they will try to hold on to it as long as they can until you give up. read more

We had made a reservation and paid in advance for a ride from the airport to hotel then the return trip from hotel to airport. There was not problem getting from the airport to hotel, but our ride never showed up and did not respond to texts when requesting the ride back. We had to, at the last minute, find our own ride back to the airport. By the way, the last minute car cost half of what we had already paid to have a car reserved in advance. Then it took 3 weeks to get a refund and they squabbled over refunding me half the taxes and fees because it was "nonrefundable". I will not use this service or Laxride again. I made a reservation from the Phoenix Airport and after I made it i saw where they only allow one bag. I called them up and they wanted extra money for extra bags so I cancelled my reservation. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. My sister's driver gave off a vibe that made her very uncomfortable and not safe. The driver came off very rapey. In a 40 minute drive he made 2 unnecessary stops off of the freeway. He was texting someone while they were getting off the freeway. He made multiple inappropriate comments. He complained about being tired and said he might "get off to rest". He finally pulled up to a liquor store and offered my sister something to drink. This is an extremely unprofessional driving service and they should be ashamed of themselves. When we called to complain the customer service was joke. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. I booked them for a 4am ride to the airport. My flight was leaving at 7am, so this would give me ample time to make my flight. I hadn't received any communication from Shuttlefare regarding my ride, so at 3:45am I called/texted them and they assured me that someone was on the way to pick me up at 4am and that I shouldn't worry. 4am rolls around and there is no one there. I called them and they said that the driver was running a bit late but that he would be there shortly. This went on for about 30 minutes. During this time the dispatcher kept assuring me that someone was on the way. about an hour after the driver was supposed to be there, Shuttlefare told me that no one would be coming to pick me up. At this point, it was nearly 5am. The drive to the airport was an hour away and my flight was boarding at 6:37am. Shuttlefare did not offer any alternatives for me and instead just left me stranded without a way to the airport. I called every single taxi service near the city of Cleveland and finally, I got one guy to come and give me a ride. However, since it was a late-night ride, it cost me $350. The ride that I had booked with Shuttlefare only cost me $62, so you can see my frustration, however I did not have another choice given that my flight was leaving in less than an hour. By the grace of God, I made it to the gate at 6:42 (after sprinting through the entire airport), right before they closed the gates. When I tried contacting Shuttlefare about my grievances, they either ignored my communications or they would end them before I could express my situation to them. I used their services because I knew that other drivers wouldn't be available at the time I needed them, and I was told by them that my driver was guaranteed and that I shouldn't worry. Instead, I had to book a taxi that cost the same amount as my flight and Shuttlefare has refused to reimburse me for the stress and troubles that I went through because of their error. If I had been told prior to booking that the certainty of the driver wasn't 100%, then I would have booked something else. But they let me believe up until an hour before my flight that someone was coming to get me. I have given them ample time to try and make things right, but they haven't, which is what led me here. Terrible service. Rude communication. And flat-out lies. Pretty soon I might be seeking legal help, because $350 is not a small amount of money, but I guess to Shuttlefare they don't care about whose money and time they waste and take. read more

After carefully planning a large family vacation (14) of us to Hawaii, I booked through Shuttlefare to have a private van pick us up and take us to the airport. I called their office the day before with implicit directions and gate code so that that there would be no problems as pick up time was 4:55 am. 5:40 am the driver is no where to be found. They locate him and he tells us he is lost and maybe 30 minutes away. We are now in danger of missing our flight. We load into our cars, drive to LAX and pay to park. The driver tells me on the phone its not his problem that he is late and we may miss our flight...REALLY!? That's your JOB! I booked a ride to be dropped to Boston Airport. The driver did not show up, and when called he claimed he had the wrong address and did not know where to show up (He had my phone number to call and clarify ahead of time). He said he would take another 30 minutes to reach pick up location. If I had waited for him, I would have missed the plane today. Fortunately, I found an alternate way to get a ride to the airport at 3am in the morning. When asked for refund customer service denied. apparently driver reported that i cancelled the ride. If I could give them a negative star, I would. I made an online reservation with them which all seemed legitimate. There was an option to add additional luggage which we did, stating it was for 2 bikes. The transaction went through and did receive and email and text confimation. When I tried to call regarding how much the extra fees would be for the bikes, I first was told that I needed to text the number as they do not accept phone calls, and then I was told via that they did not accommodate bikes, despite having that as an option, so I would need to cancel. I have emailed them twice regarding cancelling as well as trying to call the number listed for cancellation and after 10 min on hold, got a recording that I would either need to send an email or do a "chat" with an agent. I then attempted the "chat with an agent" which would require you to sign up for some service and pay $1. I believe this is a scam and have now set up a dispute with my credit card company. Absolute rip off artists and a complete scam. Scheduled a pickup at an airport at 10:30PM. They never showed up and then after calling them, told me I've have to call them later to arrange a refund. Awful service. I had a no show on the driver picking me up; luckily, I was able to get a different ride. I called them to cancel the return and ended up getting an answering machine. They haven't returned my call (although they did cancel the return). I have received zero information on the canceled service and when they are going to refund this. I've called at least 5 times and hit voicemail after being on hold each time. They also are an intermediary company that only books you with another service. This shuttle service is awesome. I don't know about Loren, but I had no problem using the website. I even had to add an additional passenger and they were able to help me no problem. Prices are very reasonable and it is different than any service out there. They allow you to compare the prices of the big companies such as SuperShuttle with the prices of small companies, which allows them to offer shuttles to even more locations. I definitely recommend it to all of my family and friends and to anyone reading this. Yes, the customer service can be a little hard to reach, but they are quick to respond to emails if you can't reach them over the phone. There is a $4 service fee, but once you reserve a shuttle once, you get discount codes on future shuttles. This is a great service, especially if SuperShuttle doesn't go to your location :) read more

Take my stupidity as a warning , I should have checked reviews first. I booked pickup from Boston . When I asked where the meeting place was I was told to call the driver after I get my bags and it would be 10 min( he'd be waiting in the lot) they also requested flight info saying they monitor delays or early arrivals. I arrived at 4:10 pm ( pickup was supposed to be at 5:20 pm) I attempted to call my driver numerous times and got a vm , lm but no response after about an hour I called company that reached driver . Who stated 20 min and to wait in side he would come in. I gave exact location and we waited ( me and my 2 children) after about 30 min I decided to go out front to passenger pick up and called again , vm again. Eventually he calls saying he is there at the front of car line and to come to him, we walked pulling all out luggage to front of line and he was not there , he stated he was at back ... once again lug away and nope. I continually told him I was in international arrivals he insisted he was there . This went on walking back and forth numerous times in the heat. Finally he stated zone 2 ??? I asked the assistance of a state trooper to locate that zone . He stated there was no such thing and made me call the guy so he could speak to him . Driver arrived (now 2 1/2 hours waiting) went past us even tho trooper and Other shuttle driver was yelling for him to stop . We carried the luggage to his car and loaded it in ourselves . The trooper then arrived and was speaking to driver stating he and the company have no right to be at airport and he will receive a 500 dollar fine if he ever returns , and there was no reason I had to be waiting this long etc. at this point I was debating wether to take the kids and get out and lose out my money and wait longer . I just wanted to get home we had been traveling all day . The trooper warned driver we begetter arrive safe . Needless to say twice driving home we were almost hit by semis as we came off ramp . Don't know if my ShuttleFare driver ever showed up; I left when the driver was already 45 minutes late for my trip to IND. Call to 800 number finally got to agent after being on hold, then the call was dropped and had to re-dial and go on hold again. Barely made my flight after luckily being able to arrange alternative ride. SuperShuttle at LAX went belly up because of Uber/Lyft. I tried to use shuttlefare.com to book an airport shuttle from my house in the Seattle suburbs to Seatac airport. On trying to book the reservation their site reported an error and never displayed any info like a confirmation code. I know that sites have problems sometimes so I went ahead and booked a shuttle using a different service. I then checked my bank account a few hours later and found that despite reporting an error and never giving me a confirmation code shuttlefare.com had charged me for FIVE trips (over 200$). The site didn't work, I never got a confirmation number but they still charged me five times. I tried to call their support line to get them to remove the charges but outside of the hours of 8-5 EST they have no customer support. The only humans you can talk to are the ones taking new reservations and they are unable or unwilling to help. Asking for a supervisor gets you put on hold for five minutes and they then come back and say that all supervisors are in a meeting. I'm leaving for the airport in a few hours and the charges still haven't been reversed and I have no idea if shuttlefare.com is sending a shuttle or not since I never got a confirmation number and there is no one available at their support center who confirm anything. Bottom line - Buggy site, they will overcharge you and have no customer support. I would never come anywhere near this company again. read more

Do not use this service. They do not set up the service in the airports with the various shuttles at the airports. So you pay for the service and the service isn't reserved. Our pick up time was scheduled for 7:10pm with Super Shuttle. They didn't show up. I started calling at 7:25pm to see what happened. After being on hold and then cut off, I finally reached someone who told me the van was on it's way-even told me the van number and it would be there in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, no van so I called again, and again was on hold, finally to be told there was no van available, but they would send a yellow cab for us - 10 minutes. No cab in 10 minutes, so I called again and after being on hold again, then waiting for them to check, the cab showed up. It was a very nice clean cab and the driver said he'd do his best to get us to LAX in time. It was 8pm and we had a 10pm flight. The freeway was clear most of the way, but from the 105 into the airport was bumper to bumper. It took a long time to get to the terminal. We really thought we'd miss our flight, but lucked out when the flight was delayed and so we were able to board. Hope our trip back home from the airport is smoother. Very unprofessional! Once you make your reservation they automatically take your payment the same day. Then a few days go by and then contact you via email NOT phone but email on how they can't service you because they are "fully booked." Great communication. I received an e-mail the day prior, day of and a phone call 15 minutes before the driver showed up. Two people were already in the van and picked up another passenger on the way. Made it to the airport with time to spare. I also used them for the trip back home. I was worried about my flight being delayed, but they said no worries they have shuttles 24/7. They have about 8 attendants around the outside of the airport waiting to check you in and summon a shuttle driver for your area. They have multiple vans that handle a particular area. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the van to arrive and we made one trip back through the terminal to see if there were any other passengers for my area. There was one and we were off. The freeway back from LAX was packed. I was very appreciative that I did not have to deal with the traffic. The driver was very friendly. This was my first experience with a shuttle service and I believe I will be a repeat customer. Thank you for the great service. read more

I have to agree with other negative reviews. Shuttlefare is a simple online reservation service that does not keep up its database so that the drivers it contracts with can find out if flights are delayed or cancelled. I recently was scheduled to be picked up after a flight from Iceland that was late and had to find my own ride home. The driver was there at the scheduled time but since shuttlefare did not have WOW air in their data base he was unable to see the change in schedule Shuttlefare would not refund my fare. read more

We have used Shuttlefare for our last 3 trips out of Sacramento. We seem to get the same great driver, he is always on time, always polite and always picks us up from our return flight on time as well. We couldn't ask for better service. We do select the private car, yes it is a tad more money, but this way we are not subject to someone else running late and therefore holding up the rest of us to be on time for arrival at our airport. In fact, I am about to book again for a trip we're taking in another month. We do book very early, then we always call to confirm we're still on their radar about a week before our pick up date. Totally agree with all the other 1 star reviews. This place is totally unreliable. Booked a shuttle two weeks in advance to pick up my family and I from LAX at 1:00am. Arrived from our vacation and called the company regarding our shuttle. Spoke to the CSR who responded with "I'm sorry, there are no vans in the area. We won't be able to provide you with shuttle service tonight." All I could say is "WOW !" My jaw just dropped to the floor. Here I am at LAX, with little kids and elderly parents in tow, at 1:00am in the morning with no ride home. TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!! Had to go out of my way and book a ride with one of the on-site car rental places at a much higher cost. If you want to know how it feels to get stuck at the airport, give 'em a try. Pickup time comes and goes, then the actual shuttle driver calls us to tell us he is on his way. 40 minutes late, which we barely made our flight.
