My recent experience involved an incredibly rude encounter with a staff member that was handled poorly by management. Rather than addressing the service issue, the manager deflected blame onto me. ​Furthermore, the restaurant's response to my feedback has been highly unprofessional, including personal harassment and threats regarding my livelihood as a delivery driver. I categorically deny the owner's claims regarding my conduct; I remained professional throughout the encounter. Si Señor is a solid option when it comes to Mexican food in Farmington. I think that they have a pretty solid breakfast burrito and the salsa is always great. They're also on the cheaper side and in my opinion a reasonable portions. I really appreciate their drive-through which was not around when I used to live there. This is big place that apparently is pretty busy for breakfast. It seemed like a popular meeting place for friends, groups etc. We stopped in on our way home before getting on the road. The service was very friendly, it's Farmington after all, and always bringing us hot top-offs for our coffee. I had the Mexican enchalada omelet which was outstanding. Taco shells I must say are the best I have ever had as for the meat ground beef had not flavor but the shedded beef was delish. Stuffed Sopapillas were good would give them a seven out of 10. Their bowl of chunky green is like crack and the breakfast burritos are pretty damn good too. They don't have Diet Coke which kind of sucks and some of their other menu items are slightly bland. The staff have always been wonderful. read more

This was a very authentic New Mexican restaurant hidden in Farmington. The restaurant has a enormous feel to it from the inside because of the interior design. It also has a water fountain in the middle of the restaurant and a outdoor patio area. The staff is super friendly and they all work like a team and constantly ensuring your needs are being met. We were a family of 8 and we ordered from enchiladas to tacos to posole. Everything was delicious and adequate portion. I would say the food was a slightly salty but with Chile sauce or salsa you couldn't event taste much of it. All in all it's a place to visit while in Farmington. read more

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food and service were both phenomenal. I had the shredded beef stuff sopapillas and oh my goodness they were so flavorful. The sopapillas were cooked to perfection I liked the green chili more than the red chili. I'm just not a red chili person but the green chili had the perfect amount of spice. The chips and salsa and other dip which I think was a cold queso were both very tasty as well. After I finished my shredded beef sopapillas the waitress brought dessert sopapillas with honey and oh my goodness they were so amazing the pastry was puffy and flaky and just so good. The honey just made it that much more amazing. I am from Colorado Springs and really wish we had a restaurant like this, I would eat there all the time! So the food was good but not hot. The service was awful. I wanted 1chicken taco and 1 steak taco, and was told they couldn't do that as they weight what they put on the plate didn't make sense to me. We had to ask for refills, we didn't get chips & salsa until after we had ordered which usually never happens. The guy that got us chip & salsa threw them on the table and spilled the salsa & dip on the table and chips and walked off . There were several individuals in the waiter station that were all flirting and trying really hard to get people to leave. We finally got our food and not once did someone ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything. We stop a waiter a couple of times for tea. We have been good customers for several years and not once have we seen it that slow. Before I left I did ask if the restaurant had sold to someone else and found out that the dad is stepping down and the son is taking over. Well we say this place and figured we would try it out, being from TX we were kind of hesitant to eat at a Mexican restaurant outside of TX but we said "Taco Tuesday " why not!! Of course we both grabbed the taco Tuesday special, which included 4 tacos, I went with soft shel vs the hard shell, I had 2 shredded chicken and 2 shredded beef. The came with a side of refried beans and rice. The tacos tasted ok, the shells were a little dry and didn't taste fresh, i used the salsa from the chips to moisten them up. So this place says they have hatch chili. Let's see if that is true. Inside is like a traditional Spanish style restaurant. The waiter we had is awesome, hope they are all like him. He ensured the food we ordered was correct so ask for Jesus, this guy is top notch. Food reminds me of a place I used to go called poncho's buffet, food was not great but not bad either. Food might be pre made or maybe like a TexMex. I really don't know Farmington and if most Mexican restaurant's are like this I won't be eating much Mexican food. But to my surprise my order was ready as soon as I pulled through the drive up window. The Si Señor employees were very friendly, professional and thorough. Ordered online after work. It is only a mile away so I got there super early. I was greated with smiles and them going promptly to the kitchen to see if it was ready. When the food was brought out the lady encouraged me to check the order. Everything was neatly packaged and piping hot! Silverware napkins- I was also pleasantly surprised to see chips and salsa! So, we took a short side trip to Farmington to try Si Senor. The Monday lunch special was flautus. The restaurant serves two types of salsa with their chips; a very good traditional red and a white salsa, which to me was a little strange. The white salsa tasted like a combination of yogurt and buttermilk ranch dressing. We tried the red and green chili on the flautas; both were good, but a little more sauce on the food would have been better. The beef in the flautas was great; lean and very spicy! The beans and rice was average at best. The meal came with a generous portion of guacamole! Service was a little slow even though we were there after the lunch crowd had cleared out. Got cold breakfast burrito and when I tied calling to talk to the manager they kept giving me the run around because I didn't have the receipt. At this point if I can't talk to no one I'm just going to file a chargeback because the service and the quality of food are despicable.
